I Have 5 Lumps On My Right Side Of My Neck. One Kinda On My Collar Bone. One About A Inch From My

Why does coffee consumption affect my neck health?

I used to think my neck was hurting. Got x-rays. Thought it was bad posture. Doing neck exercises. After experimenting a lot I found it was acid coming up and causing inflammation that felt like neck pain. If you want to test this out. Don't eat after 5 pm. Sleep on your left side with the head of your bed elevated a few inches. Stop drinking coffee and lose weight down to your recommended BMI.. To do a quicker test you can also get some over the counter nexium for a week. I took two of those a day. But watch out…. There is a rebound effect when you stop the nexium. Coffee causes the stomach to produce a lot of acid. Especially after one cup. I'm guessing you are drinking about four or more when you do. The decaf does too. It is a property of the coffee not the caffeine. Four cups of either type of coffee causes the stomach to produce 8 times the amount of acid. You can find studies online. Look up silent reflux. If you are like me I'm thinking the inflammation causes the nerves to mimic neck pain. You have no compression issues if my theory is correct. Logic would dictate that stopping coffee helping your neck is because of a digestion acid issue. Coffee is horrible for acid. Coffee is acidic but it is the pharmaceutical effect of coffee. Also sitting with tight waist pants is bad. Don't eat heavy meals. You can find all the tips if you look for silent reflux. It is the same except I think inflammation in our cases is mimicking neck pain. 1 cup of coffee causes your stomach to produce as much acid as it does for a 1000 calorie protein meal. Think about that. That's a lot of acid for what you think is just a watery drink.Edit to add:. If you are at the point where I used to be and you think it is compression issues, it is bad. Sleeping on your left side with the bed elevated is a must. Even with the nexium. Gravity is your best friend.

Painless, hard, immovable lump on neck?

It sounds like a lymph node. I suggest you go to a doctor if it doesn't go away in a few weeks.

I have a sharp pain in my chest whenever I drink something cold.?

It started about 4 days ago. Whenever I drink something cold I get a sharp pain in my chest about 4 inches down from my collarbone. I also feel it in my back, at the same point. People have said that it might be acid reflux or heartburn or something but i don't think so. It doesn't feel like burning. It feels sort of like something is stuck and when I drink the muscles used to drink are forcing it to move but can't dislodge it. It kind of feels like if I could burp it would feel better, but I don't have to burp... and even when I do it doesn't feel better. I talked to my grandfather about it today and he said that my grandma always used to say she had the same feeling, and so did her mother before her. I'm wondering if this is something that might be genetic, and even plainly, what it is. Because it can be awful painful.

Blonde Jokes Anyone?

There was a blond in a rowboat in the middle of a corn field. Another blonde drove up alongside the hiway and asked "what in the world do you think u are doing?" the other blonde said "im trying to get my boat out of here but it is really hard!" The other blonde looks discusted and says "You know what it is dumb blondes like you that make smart blondes like me look bad. And if i could swim i would come out there and kick your butt."

So this blonde goes into a curtain shop and askes the clerk if he has any flower curtains. He says yes and takes her back. When she pickes out a nice pink floral pattern he askes her how much fabric she wants. She said "12 inches by 12 inches." He says "Wow miss are you sure? that seems too small for a window" She said " Im using it for my computer!" He said "Why in the world would you use a curtain for a computer?" She says "Duh.... I have Windows!!!

Just thought these were funny. Tell me what u think.

Swollen Gland On The Back Of My Head?

The other day I woke up in a weird position with a lot of neck pain. I also noticed in the middle of the day that there was a swollen gland on the back of my head. This has never happened to me, but I figured it was maybe because I slept on it wrong. I kinda had my hand behind my head so I'm wondering if I just injured it. Anyone ever do this, or know what I'm talking about?
