Does Great Lakes Chennai accept the CMAT score?
Great Lakes does accepts CMAT scores for its PGDM course but the cutoffs are very high. Hello..! I graduated from VJTI,Mumbai. Got selected through campus recruitment in Glenmark Pharmaceuticals.My CS/IT friends got starting packages of 32/24/16 lpa……. on average they gets around 10lpa……. while, our highest was 17 lpa and E-M-C stream students gets 5.5 lpa on average.Over 250 companies has visited VJTI for campus placements till now… including giants like Microsoft, Google, Rakuten, etc……..30–40% of the students from Mumbai who cleared JEE advanced & has got other IITs but not IIT Bombay, prefers to stay in mumbai… So they choose VJTI over other IITs.If you guyz are planning on getting into engineering, you should go with VJTI if IITs are out of your reach.. n stream preference should be like..CS-IT-EX-EE-ME-ENTC-CE. below you can see the placements details of my batch.TRAINING AND PLACEMENT OFFICEPlease Note, this % seems to be less because most of the students who opt in for placements go for MS/MBA abroad so they do not sit for any companies Also, 50% of students gets double placed.. few of us got placed in multiple companies... What is the backlog (ATKT) limit at MSU Baroda?
In MSU Baroda, unlike GTU there is no system of backlogs. You will directly get ATKTs. If you have more than 2 ATKTs at the end of year, you will be detained for a year.Let me explain a bit. College has two exam schedule in a year,in November & in April-May. If you failed in subjects of 1st semesters of any year, you have to take re-exams of those subjects during April along with the subjects of 2nd semesters. At the end, if you get more than 2 ATKTs, you will have one year off. During this year, you have to clear off your ATKTs during November or April exams. Then only you can enter in next year.As 1st year has no internal exams, you have to attend 100 marks papers for both,regular as well ATKT. From 2nd year, you will have regular exam of 80 marks(+20 of internals) and ATKTs exam of 100 marks. If you get ATKT in Viva than you will have re-viva next year.Not to forget, there is a rule named golden ATKT, if you have any single ATKT of 1st year pending, you can’t enter in 3rd year. You will be detained after 2nd year and can’t enter in 3rd year until you get your ATKT/ATKTs of 1st year cleared. Same with 4th year. You can’t enter in 4th year until your ATKT/ATKTs of 2nd year are not cleared.EDIT:- If you got ATKT in final year exam (7th & 8th sem) you can give all subject exam or you should compulsory give exam below each subject in which you got less than 50 marks
