I Have A Bug In My Email Which Makes It Impossible To Erase My Emails .they Keep Reappearing

If I do a clean install of my OS, will that get rid of any malware infection?

There are advanced malwares that are called rootkits. These are persistent enough to survive everything but a complete deletion of the partition and then a reformatting. There are a few that can survive a format, but none so far that can survive the deletion of the partition tables and a reformat afterwards. Notice I said not yet ! Visit this site to run the "Rootkit Revealer", which will dump your registry hives into raw data and measure the contents against what windows reports for your data. Any inconsistencies between the two are suspect, and should be investigated, as one of the main things a rootkit does very well is alter the windows API CALL FUNCTIONS AND DATA RETURNED-
meaning they are able to affect even the output of those programs designed to detect them if those programs run within windows. (The rootkit revealer does run inside of windows, but uses proprietary calls and functions rootkits so far have not been able to reach, and thus modify.-note that you will be "locked out" of your own system until the rootkit revealer finishes it's task, and do not interrupt it, even if it appears to hang for a very long time, which it might, as the registry is actually a very huge amount of lines of code to have to sort through.)."http://www.live.sysinternals/...
"http://www.malwarebytes.org/". and "http;//www.microsoft.com/en/downloads/s... These last two links will provide you with FREE, EFFECTIVE ANTICRAPWARES WHICH WORK VERY WELL TOGETHER, to get and keep your system clean.

Emails won't delete in yahoo mail, they keep reappearing in my inbox?

I tried switching back and forth from Firefox to Safari and that didn't work. I check box that checks all, for example..146 emails checked to be mass deleted. I confirm , YES I want to delete ALL 146. A progress bar shows up and all check marks UNCHECK and nothing happens. Maybe 1 deletes. Tried updating Firefox/Safari. I'm all updated and still cannot delete. Tried rebooting. Doesn't work. This isn't only issue I've had. My other troubles are cannot COMPOSE, sent mail doesn't show as a NEW sent message yet it tags it in line when someone responds as a OLD MESSAGE LINE. NO NEW MESSAGES show as new. I corrected compose by settings and checking Firefox add ons. But still cannot compose a new message to same person. It connects itself to a message I wrote months ago as if its a continuation of a old conversation. Really disappointed in this Yahoo. Since 2009, Ive had Yahoo and over years gained over 50,000 emails Im trying constantly to mass delete. This doesn't help me yahoo. I was using this method to mass delete, however whatever you did recent to email, I cannot seem to get issues corrected with OLD listed fixes that I see here. Please help!! Thank you

Can you find someone's IP address from an email? If I send someone an email from a yahoo/hotmail/google account, can they easily find out what my IP address is? How? If it doesn't give an exact IP address, will it tell them what state I'm in?

Here’s a quick guide on how to track an email to its original location by figuring out the email’s IP address and looking it up. I have found this to be quite useful on many occasions for verification purposes since I receive lots of suspicious emails daily due to my blog. Tracking the IP address of an email sender does require looking at some technical details, so be ready to dig your heels in!There are basically two steps involved in the process of tracking an email: find the IP address in the email header section and then look up the location of the IP address. It’s worth noting that you usually won’t be able to get the exact location of the actual person who sent the email. For example, if someone in Germany sends you an email using Gmail, the last IP address in the header section will probably be the public IP address assigned to that user from the ISP, which will give you the location of the user ranging from within a mile all the way to the city or region level. The reason for the wide range is that the IP address that an ISP assigns to a particular user is normally dynamic. This means that the IP address they had when the email was sent may now be assigned to a different user in the region. This is the main reason why you might get a wide geographic area when looking up the location of the IP address. However, depending on what device people are using to send emails when using Gmail or another online email service, the last IP address might just be the IP address of Google or Yahoo or Hotmail servers, so keep that in mind too.Finding IP Addresses in Email HeadersMany people have never seen an email header, because modern email clients often hide the headers from view. To find someones IP Address from an email address click here.Another scenario where you might not get any useful info is if the email was sent from a server on a hosting company data center. For example, whenever I get an email from Boxee, the originating IP address is from SoftLayer, which is a big server hosting company. That’s because the email was probably created and sent from the server itself.

How can one track whether a sent email was read? I’m using gmail.

One excellent way to track emails is by using a CRM that tracks both clicks and whether your emails have been read.A CRM can also help you track how many emails have been sent, when you sent them, etc. Some qualities to consider when looking for a CRM:Fast and seamless setupEasy to use and easy to navigateAs little maintenance as possible to stay updatedSeamless integration with other apps in your toolsetBut it’s also worthwhile to use a CRM that makes it as easy as possible to have all of the data you’re looking for in one place. If these are the kind of features you’re looking for, I’d recommend Salesflare, an automated sales CRM that tells you everything you need about leads with minimal effort from your side. You won’t have to manually input data anymore, as Salesflare integrates with your email, calendar, phone, social, web, company databases, etc. It’s a sales CRM that fully automates customer info and timelines - meaning you can have a full picture of the emails that have been sent between you and your contacts. One handy feature is the Gmail plugin, which allows you to access the full functionality of Salesflare directly in your Gmail inbox without needing to navigate away from the page.In addition to Gmail (+ Google Apps) and Outlook, you can connect Salesflare to 1,000+ apps via Zapier. There’s also an API to build on.You can start a free trial from the Salesflare website to try all of these exciting features for yourself, including email tracking: https://salesflare.com

How do i stop receiving junk mail from foreign country's?

Hello,

(ANS) Sadly, its impossible to prevent such Junk & Spam mail being sent to you, unfortunately spam & junk emails are just a fact of internet life, we all get them (welcome to the club!!).

**Some Points & tips:-

a) Never attempt to reply to a spam or junk mail this only confirms your email account or address is still active and you will end up being spammed twice as much.

b) even if you try to reply 99% of spam & junk have faked reply email address's this is called spoofing. It means you cannot find out who sent the mail to you originally.

c) you name & email address may have been harvested by whats called an email bot, this is a robot that scours the internet for email address's and then adds them to a mailing list and then you get spammed. Once on a list its impossible to be removed so dont even try its a waste of time and will be point less it wont stop the spam, junk.

**NOTE: 9 out of every 10 emails is now Spam or Junk!! (pretty shocking isnt it?).

WHAT TOO DO!!
The best solutions are as follows, as you cannot stop the spam & junk you can filter or find ways to delete the stuff.

No.1) I can definately recommend a program called Mail washer, this program sits between your computer & the email server and it allows you to see what is junk & spam and delete them off the server and leaves you with the good mail, the mail you want to receive.

http://www.mailwasher.net (for the free trials & free old versions) or

http://www.firetrust.com (mailwasher pro licensed versions)

No.2) You can also use this fantastic website for free, its a free online spam & junk removal service, free for x1 email account. Its a fully automated service so all the instructions you need to set it up are shown on the site. Regsiter for free and you can be up and running in a few minutes!!

Hope this helps?

Did Microsoft know Windows 10 may delete files months ago and still released it to the public anyway?

I’ll speak out for the silent majority, since just having the vocal minority while good, may imbalance the POV for this topic. I have installed the Insider Build on my workstation, and had no problems with the final release (plenty before that), then installed the proper update on my laptop (which had to be reformatted a week prior, due to a corrupted partition table of my own doing). The laptop refused to update when doing it from the earlier build I installed (Build 1709). I redownloaded a new installer, then reinstalled from Build 1803 which then manage to update itself to the current 1809 build.Did Microsoft know? Sure, people have reported it during the Insider builds to the Feedback Hub. Unfortunately, a combination of it being too remote a case amongst testers, as well as basically being impossible to trace something that’s already deleted, means that there wasn’t much known about this bug at that point. Combine it with the fact that most Insider testers rarely put their Document folders in the same partition/drive as the Windows folder (due to frequency of reformatting & reinstalling) which means the norm of practise by testers do not conform with what the ordinary folks usually do.How to solve this? As bizarre as it sounds, if Microsoft were to go back to the old small QA team method, this problem will probably still NOT be caught as their setup will highly unlikely be similar to the spectrum of average users. The best solution perhaps, is to get even more ordinary folks into the Insider program, something which won’t sit well with the general populace despite its good intentions. If the Win10 telemetry already has most people nervous, the data collected from Insider builds will probably give them a heart attack.TLDR: Microsoft sort of knew, but underestimated how much users were affected by the bug.

What are some notable bugs on Quora?

The Android app is terrible (especially on one of my devices). It crashes for many different reasons, consistently. I have to go to the mobile site instead to write comments, because clicking on the comment button is one of those consistent reasons. Then when I start typing in the comment field and press "Enter" Quora thinks I searched for that text I was submitting and displays [non]-results instead. I have to write everything on a word-processing app, then copy-and-paste into the comment field and hope for the best. If I find I had a typo, I can't use backspace, because the deletions start from an arbitrary part of the comment instead of where the cursor was. Writing answers on the app works on neither the mobile site nor the app. If you reset your password, you remain logged in on other devices (giant security flaw). Certain other vulnerabilities I don't want to discuss here. On the full site, if you are writing an answer and you accidentally open a new tab on the same question, it will show a different (earlier) draft of your answer. Then if you close the tabs without submitting one, Quora servers save the earlier draft. You can only report a question once, and after it gets flagged if it is edited (and the tag-- e.g., "Insincere" is removed and it is still insincere), you can't report it again.

What is the most British thing about you?

This question really had me thinking Abhilasha as I have never really analysed myself and my Britishness before.I have the following British characteristics that are quite common traits.Strange and silly sense of humour, I laugh a lot and I quite often laugh at the strangest of things.I love tea, I am also obsessed with how tea is made and will not drink tea outside the house because people don’t make it right.Self deprecating, I am and have always been my own worst critic and am not very good at self promotion.Excessively polite and I have a very strong dislike of ill manners and lack of social etiquette.I hate bullies and I hate people ignoring bullying, it’s destroys people.I am a very poor speller and most Welsh people I meet have poor grammar.I am extremely proud to be Welsh but am extremely protective about Britain as a whole.Hugely honest and law abiding , I am honest to the point that it quite often upsets people as I believe it’s a matter of honour to be honest when people ask for the truth but not everyone appreciates it.Distrustful of the British political establishment, if a politician says white is white , I still have to do a background check to confirm it’s right.Obsessed with ethics and doing the right thing , simply put if it’s wrong and unethical then it shouldn’t be a choice , do the right thing.Stiff upper lip , I try to show my emotions more but it does not come naturally.Inability to complain, I sadly am one of those people if I’m asked “ everything ok with your meal?” will still say “it’s lovely thanks” even if it isn’t.I can’t dance and neither can a high proportion of Brits I have met , although after a few drinks we all believe that we are John Travolta. These qualities make me who I am but they are also traits I have seen in many of my countrymen.I also have a quality that comes from my upbringing in Canada that is very unBritish which is I am very proud of the UK and their achievements, I am sure a lot of Brits will apologies for me using the word UK and achievements in the same line but I feel very proud of being from these “sceptred Isle.

When doing a whiteboard coding interview and you get stuck, is it okay to explain to the interviewer how you'd use Google to find an answer?

So you’re attempting to solve a problem and you don’t know how to solve it? Cool, that’s sort of the norm. No, you don’t say that you’d look it up on Google—because solving something you don’t know how to solve is the essence of the question. The idea of whiteboard/algorithm interviews is not to test knowledge. Yes, there’s a baseline of knowledge you need to have. You need to know, for example, how to insert a node into a binary search tree, how to do breadth-first search, and what a linked list is. An interviewer who asks you to do these things (other than perhaps as a basic warmup question) is probably not a very good interviewer. The idea of a whiteboard/algorithm interview is to use your problem-solving skills (i.e., your brain) to solve a problem. If I asked you to design an algorithm to count the number of permutations of a string s within a string t, I’m not asking you what is the algorithm to do this. I assume that you don’t know how to do this. I’m asking you to figure it out.So if you get stuck while doing this? Keep going. Keep trying. Write a new example. Simplify the problem. Study what’s suboptimal or incorrect in your earlier solutions and see if you can find a path to fix those issues. Just keep going.Yes, I’m sure that you could google a solution to this problem. I’m not asking you this question because I’m thinking “Gee, you might need to solve this exact question in real life. If that happened, could you do it?” I’m asking because I believe that solving this question gives me an idea of how effectively your brain can solve problems. Your ability to Google the answer is irrelevant. Now, if you just forgot whether the linked list class uses list.add or list.insert, I really do not care about this. At all. I guess you could “explain” how you’d use Google to solve this, but I mean… isn’t it obvious? This seems like an unnecessary explanation. Just tell me, “Shoot. I can’t remember—is it add or insert?” I might tell you the answer if I know it, otherwise I’ll just tell you to make up reasonable syntax. This is what a good interviewer should do because whiteboard coding is about brain power not Google power. If you have a bad interviewer, well, all bets are off.

How do hackers hack?

Hacking is broad term it depends what you want to hack. Mobile device,PC or Website.I will brief you through process of hacking and securing Website since most of the Hackers are after it.All the startup owners or aspirants should lnow.In order to hack you need Information hell of alot.Wanna hack website ?You need to it’s Ip addresses,Open Ports, file transfer medium (FTP or SSH),Email addresses,Detecting Insecure code(SQLi & SSH),System architecture ( 64 bit, 32 bit).Ok so why do we need that information.Open Ports : If there is an open port that means website is ready to listen connection . Take example of FTP open ports. If it’s open then it can be bruteforced ).Tip: Use SSH instead of ftp it’s secure and encrypted mean when you send files over SSH first thing it does is encrypts your files So even if hacker gain access to your files they will see encrypted files not plain texts.Emails? Email is needed for social engineering. With just a one click a backdoor will be installed in your system/browser.There is incredibly powerful software for exploiting that is BEEF pre-installed in kali All you need is to send hook.js file to your victim trick him to click(Which is easy) and BAM start doing evil things.Tip : if you type whois http://yourdomain.com in Linux you will find details like Domain registrar email address, phone number his address etc . So when you register your domain and purchase hosting do buy icann protection with it it does not cost that much.in this way you will be able to protect your info.Detecting SQLi vulnerability is easy just write single inverted comma after url php?id=1 Like php?id=1′ if it returns an error .Then It’s ready to be hacked.TIP Use PDO instead of Mysqli or Mysql. If you are not familiar with PDO(can also be used with MYSQLi) then make sure use htmlspecialchars and htmlentities. Example: Lets say you are getting value from browser .Do below thing to make your code secureif(isset($_POST[“Name”]){$name=htmlentities($_POST[“Name”]);}This is the least you can do to protect yourself from hackers agianst SQLi. Sorry i cant go into details here. This is very basic info i have written in this answer. I hope it helped you.
