I Have A Car In My Name That My Niece Is Paying For. Car Registed In Ar I Live In Texas. How Does

Can I get a California driver's license without having/owning a car to take the test in? I have not previously had a driver's license.

USA, EUROPE, ASIA : You can’t ‘buy’ a driving licence. What you can do is apply for a Provisional Licence. It costs £35 and allows you to drive (except on Motorways) aslong as you are accompanied by a suitably qualified person and complywith the other rules, like showing Learner plates. To upgrade from a provisional to a full licence, youneed to pass both the theory and practical parts of the test. These are £23 and £75 respectively. However, they are pretty tough,so expect to also pay for at least 20 hours of tuition. This is private, so down to you finding a local supplier. If you have an overseas licence you will still need lessons -the test is tougher than many others, and you will need to knowYOUR COUNTRY Highway Code and driving styles. It is not uncommon to fail one or both tests on the first try,so budget for additional re-tests and extra lessons

I have proof my niece is being neglected. What can i do?

i have proof in photographs that my 2 year old niece is being abused. Everytime i pick her up to spend time with her she is covered in bug bites and fake tattoos. I know that tattoos are a thing that little kids love to have but these are left on her skin until they turn brown. And the bugbites are being left untreated to the point where they become infected and she voices that her "booboos" hurt. The mother lives with her parents along with her husband her brother her mother her father and her 2 month old son. She is not employed and hasnt been since she had my 2 year old niece. she does not have a vehicle, what would she do if she needed to go somewhere when no one was there? i however have a steady decent paying job, i have a vehicle registered and insured in my name. i live in my grandmothers apartment which is temporary, i have a house that improvements are being made to as i speak. My niece has also had repeated yeast/diaper rash infections since she was born. She is also treated for bronchitis atleast 2 or 3 times during the winter. I am looking for advice on what i should do. I am looking to pursue getting legal custody of the 2 year old because it would be in the best interest of her health and well being. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend wants me to buy a car in my name since I have better credit & he will use the car & pay me monthly. What are the cons to this?

What are the PROs to this? If you want to make a joint commitment to each other, pool your resources and share responsibilities, it’s called MARRIAGE. You know this guy better than I do, but we both know he has lousy credit. How come he does and you don’t? Obviously we are looking at two different senses of responsibility. Can YOU make the payments on the months when he “forgets” to give you the money? For how long? And if you’re paying for a car, wouldn’t you like to drive it? Or at least know exactly where it is when you’re not?He wants you to commit your credit to a loan, buy a car and hand him the keys. He will then use or abuse the car as he sees fit. There are people in prison as you read this that are there simply because they let someone use their car. That friend went out and committed a felony. In many states you do not have to be present at a crime to be convicted of aiding and abetting or as an accessory to a crime. This means you get the same punishment. Your friend kills someone, you may be looking at life. IT HAS HAPPENED. IF IT’S IN YOUR NAME IT’S YOUR CAR!Less severe example: your boyfriend uses your car to go score or worse, sell, some drugs. He gets caught. Ever hear of civil asset forfeiture? Your car was used in a criminal act. It’s not your car anymore! It’s next stop is the police auction. You have no rights. The police do not have to prove you knew about the crime; they don’t even have to charge you. YOU have to PROVE you knew nothing. It’s hard to do when the car is in your name.Lastly, and this is a big deal, this deal puts you in an unfavorable position relationship-wise. Let’s suppose the relationship sours, or worse, becomes abusive. You’d like to end it but now you have to get the car back. He sure as hell won’t be paying for it. With luck you can get the car without having to go to court, and he won’t trash the car out of spite. Or will you avoid conflict and stay in a bad relationship because the complications deter you from doing what you know you should? Not just no. HELL NO.

Do I have to pay the deductible if my car was hit while parked at my residence by a person unknown?

I was sideswiped by a truck who swerved into my lane. The only damage was to my drivers side mirror and window. I did not get their license number because because I had glass all over me. The truck drove on without stopping. I called the highway patrol and filed a report. Yes I had to pay my deductible even though I was not at fault.I had a Bronco 2 that I had parked just off the street. So far off the street it was actually in the ditch. They had to go out of their way to hit it but hit it they did and they drove off without notifying me. I again called the highway patrol and did everything I was supposed to and again I had to pay my deductible. There have been other incidents like that and its why I no longer carry $500 deductible. There were many times at work where I’d see someone with a damaged car telling folks that they’d hit a deer and the insurance would not pay. When I’d question them a bit I’d found out they’d chosen to carry $500 deductible and could not afford to get their car fixed.

How does rent to own work?

Let;s say that rental for a car is $300 per month normally and you want to buy the car but you don't have enough money for a down payment. When you rent to own you would pay more than the usual rent (for example $350 per month) and the additional money would be applied to your down payment until you have a sufficient amount saved to cover your deposit, at which time your payments then go towards paying off the price of the item purchased.
