I Have A Hard Lump On My Cheek

Hard lump under skin (cheek)?

I have a skin-colored lump underneath my skin on my cheek. I have mild acne, but not in that area. It is about the size of a pea. It has been growing for about 2 weeks. It feels like a small ball if I roll it in between my fingers. It is not squishy at all, rather hard. Could this be a cyst?

Hard Lump In Cheek After Fall?

I fell and hit my face about two weeks ago and most of the bruising has subsided, but there is still a hard swollen spot on my cheek where the impact was made. Should I be concerned, will it go away on it's own, and what can I do to speed up the process?

Hard lump inside my cheek?

Could be a small cyst beneath the skin. Feels like a hard lump and normally disappears in a few weeks. If there is no other side effects I wouldn't worry too much. However, if you think it has something to do with your teeth then maybe go see someone.

What is the lump on my buttcheek?

What is the lump on my buttcheek? Not enough information. At the same time, too much.Dear Anonymous: Did you sit on something?Have you seen your kid sister’s pet gerbil recently?Have you washed in the last 24 hours? It could be something dried on there. If this lump seems to be a personal health problem, there is a whole lot of people who have studied these things in depth, and can tell you what it is most likely to be called (a ”diagnosis”), and offer to sell you something to put it right. Go see a medic. Or a paramedic. Or even ask a pharmacist.Or even an experienced homeopath who will not mess you about with side-effect laden medication but treat you the patient rather than lump the disease, making it less likely that lump the disease will crop up again in multiple other places because your overall immunity has been compromised by antibiotics. If it is firm, immovable and painless and seems to be attached to bone, still go to a medic.Or you could spend time on the internets, doing image searches, and get lots of spurious input leading to PTSD. Or else embark on a study of medicine either on your own or at a series of medical schools, and after seven years or so you may know that it is probably best to go ask a medic about such things. It may have gone away by then. Or not. Or it may have spread. No small furry animals were hurt or frightened in construction of this response.Loosely related: A mixed experience of NHS care for my infected lump

Hard small lump on cockatiel's cheek?

I have an 11 year old male cockatiel. He has always been healthy and happy. Recently I noticed on his cheek, where the orange spot is, there is a small hard lump. You know when you spread the cheek feathers away and there is a little hole? Well on one of the cheeks, there is a small hard lump growing out of it. It is yellowish/brown in color. And some of the feathers have fallen off so it is just a little slit of openness. Most feathers are still there though. I noticed it about a month ago, and thought it might go away, and didn't really think much about it, but I might want to get it checked out by a vet. When I pet both cheeks at the same time, one is completely smooth, the the other has a hard uneven little lump on it. Please tell me what you think it could be. I really have no idea. Maybe some mites or something? And the lump is only on one cheek. And you can see it when you spread the feathers. He still acts very normal and there are no changes in anything, other than the lump. It doesn't seem to bother him at all. Please tell me what you think it could be. I really love my bird and I want him to be ok.

Sorry for making this so long, I just wanted to to give as much detail as I could...thank you to anyone who answered this, and please no mean answers! :)

How do I get rid of a hard lump on my face? I tried to squeeze a blackhead on my cheek and instead got a reddish hard pimple on its place. It’s been here for 10 days now.

Yes you squeeze the infection into the surrounding skin! Put benzoyl peroxide on it twice a day. And if it keeps getting redder you're going to need to go to the doctor and get an antibiotic I did that and I had to take levaquin for 10 days because I squeeze the infection into my bloodstream and it made me sick. It's never a good idea to squeeze a lump. You can use a drawing ointment until it comes to a head then if necessary poke the head with a sterile needle and then try and milk out the nastiness.

Lump in cheek after dental work?

Hello All,

Went for some minor dental work this week (a filling) Starting that day, my left cheek started to swell up and a lump about the size of a walnut formed in my cheek ... not by the tooth at all.

I went back to the dentist and he couldn't really figure out what was going on .. he sent me home with a script for antibiotics.

The swelling is still there and the lump is still hard and doesn't seem to be going away. I'm still in pain.

My dentist didn't seem too concerned ... should I be if its not going away??

Answers and thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

Should I be concerned about this lump in my cheek?

That lump may be either a LIPOMA or just a LYMPH NODE. Mostly it seems to be a lymph node swelling. On the other hand Lipoma is a type of benign tumour of fat tissue. Whereas lymph node swelling may arise due to surrounding infection.Treatment of Lipoma may need surgical intervention and if it was of lymph node swelling it may require antibiotic therapy. It is advisable to undergo a test named FNAC(Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology). This may rule out the possibility of lipoma. Please contact your Health care provider as soon as possible for further information. Thanks for A2A.
