I recently downloaded dirLock from download.com and locked a large folder(testing). I forgot the password.?
Don't know if this will work, but found it online. 1. Open dirLock ( not by right clicking .. start it from the "All Programs" menu ) 2. Go to File menu of dirLock and click on "Enable Security Tab" 3. Make sure you have simple file sharing disabled .. here's how to check that .. Open "My Computer" Window, go to Tools->Folder Options->View, scroll down all the way to the bottom ..you will see the option to turn off simple file sharing. 4. Right click the folder you want to unlock. Go to Properties->Security Tab, click on your user name and from the bottom options select "Allow" for "Full Control" ..

Anyway, it sounds like you have one of those screen doors that has the little lever near the latch on the inside that makes it lock and it has gotten activated by accident. See if you can get a piece of stiff wire from a friend or neighbor (like a coat hanger or one of those BIG paper clips, etc) and see if you can suitably bend and get it between the door & frame and either slip the latch or push the lock lever to the open position.

Insert the "L" tool with the long side pointed to the floor under the other paper clip. 3. Push upward on the "dentist's tool" paper clip to test the deepest pin on the upper side of the lock. You should hear it move or click up and down as you apply and release pressure. Press up on the pin and set the "L" paper clip snugly below the other paper clip to catch the pin before it falls from its up or open position. 4. Repeat Step 3 until all four or five pins are prevented from falling from their up or open position. This will require a great deal of trial-and-error as well as patience. Once all pins are free, the roll-top desk should open.

My Laptop cover won't physically open. What's wrong with it?
I have a Dell Inspiron B120 and I've and this problem for a while now. I can not physically open the laptop, the cover part to even look at the screen. When I start to open the cover I start to feel resistance. So I thought it best to leave it alone. The first time I ever noticed something wrong was when I shut my computer down and was about to close the cover and I heard a -crack- but it closed just fine. I then tried to reopen it, but it wouldn't. Since then I've open and closed it so I can actually use my computer! But in general it's not reliable when my laptop will physically open so I can use it. I haven't dropped it, haven't banged it around, or spilled water on it. My friends have suggested that there might be a like a little piece of sand or something in the hinges. The warranty is out. Questions: What's wrong with it? How can if be fixed? Who can I take it to? Thanks in advanced
