Suggestions for movies to watch from Netflix......?
Pan's Labyrinth is a good movie, I just saw it.
Are there free movies on Netflix?
You can watch all the free movies you can stand during Netflix's 30-day trial period period, but their generosity ends on the 31st day. After that, you can make a decision whether you want to continue watching, but they’ll be expecting you to pay their monthly subscription fee. Netflix does not have a business model which offers free ongoing viewing in exchange for you watching advertisements. There are no ads of any kind to be found on the Netflix website or in their streaming content. You basically pay for the privilege of being spared of unwanted commercial interruptions. Streaming membership fees start at $5 per month.See also: Garrick Saito's answer to How much does Netflix cost a month?
How do you watch recently watched movies on Netflix?
Viewing history/activity used to be prominently displayed (at the very top) on the user’s MY LIST page. Inexplicably, Netflix has since buried users’ access to their viewing history/activity. I just contacted Netflix via chat and learned this list is still available, however, it isn’t intuitive to locate and is cumbersome to navigate to.As of August 7th, 2016: Please, find below two ways in which one may find their viewing history/activity.(1) Log into your Netflix account / Choose YOUR ACCOUNT from drop down menu in upper right-hand corner of screen / Scroll down to MY PROFILE / Click on link in list titled VIEWING ACTIVITY(2) Log into your Netflix account / Navigate to ( h t t p s : / / w w w . n e t f l i x . c o m / v i e w i n g a c t i v i t y ).
What's better? Hulu or Netflix?
The two services kind of serves different needs. This comparison may be of help: http://streambly.com.au/guides/amazon-hulu-netflix-comparison If you want the latest episodes of network TV shows, shows like Parks & Rec, Family Guy, Modern Family, The Following ... then Hulu Plus is your only real option. Hulu Plus also has a good selection of classic TV shows. But you have to put up with ads, which can get annoying after a while. But if you want more classic TV and a lot more movies (mostly old, but some new as well - there are nearly 500 movies on Netflix right now released after 2012, although most you won't have heard of before), the you can't beat Netflix. I think both complement each other very well, and for an additional $7.99 per month, it's not going to break the bank!
Should I get netflix?
NO service or place has ALL the movies. When I hear people complain about Netflix I find it hilarious. Simply put you get the streaming service for $7.99 per month plus sales tax. It offers you a large variety of movies and TV shows. I find many that complain about their selections, simply do not want to search for something to watch....they can't list everything on the front page after all. I always let those complainers know what I watched and they always reply "I didn't know Netflix had that." In short, there is not a better value out there. For $8/month you get a wide variety of product. Yes licenses come and go, some stuff expires and disappears while new stuff arrives (this is true with ALL services). But no other service provides a better value in my opinion. You can stream entire TV seasons and series at your own pace without waiting for the next episode to air. Now, I would recommend the streaming service ONLY. To pay the $8 per month for mailers, does provide extra selections at an additional cost, but you'd be lucky to get 8 per month even if you watch the mailers immediately. So I would recommend, Netflix for a great cost effective entertainment source, combined with Redbox rentals for new releases (if you can't wait a few months for it to come to Netflix). There are others like Hulu Plus, Crackle, etc. And if you shop on Amazon a lot you can get free streaming service with their Prime membership (free two day shipping, kindle book loans and streaming service at $79 per YEAR). In short, 85% of the titles will be the same, while they will each have SOMETHING the other does not. Now that said, I personally find that Netflix has the best stuff the others don't. They even have some of their own specials and a new series produced just for Netflix. Definitely worth a try. Now comes the best part....you try it and decide you don't like it. Just cancel. You get a two week trial for free, and can cancel at any time and never be out more than the last $8 period/month you paid for. You're not locked into a contract and get free two week trial. Yes, try it and decide for yourself!!
What site is better Netflix or Hulu for shows and movies currently to have ?
I think that Netflix has the better selection of shows and movies at the moment. But I have Australian Netflix, and I'm not sure how well that matches the selections in America. It seems like Hulu has a lot of new shows I have never seen, and they might be great. Netflix has a fairly regular intake of new shows, plus a whole lot of old classics that I keep coming back to. It has Star Trek and Doctor Who, so I can't argue with that.
Should I get Netflix?
Netflix is signing with Xbox Live in the fall, and that would be cool, because I have xbox live. I am like 99% sure that you have to be subscribed to Netflix. How do you pay for Netflix? I do not have a credit card because I am 15, so is there any other way to pay for Netflix like sending a check or something. I know it is only like $12 a month so that is not a problem.
What is better: Hulu or Netflix? Why?
Netflix and Hulu are very different. I have both, and wouldn't consider one a substitute for the other. Hulu is used for up to date, currently airing television shows. Typically, a show is available for viewing one day after it aired. Netflix contains historical seasons of a show, in there entirety, so that you can watch shows you missed, or binge watch old seasons of a show. Some shows are on both services, and I watch them on both for different reasons. For example, I missed the last season of family guy, and there is currently a season airing. I watched 2014 family guy episodes on Netflix - without commercials, I might add - and the newly aired episodes on Hulu.Netflixs benefits include far, far more and better movies, no commercials and entire TV shows history.Hulus benefits is its up to date media. (This is a huge benefit)Get both. :-)
