I Have A Science Fair Project But I Can

Is my science fair project safe?

My answer echoes Frank'sDisclaimer: I'm not a chemist - just a fan of science. So take the following for what it is worth. In reading your question i was immediately struck with the lack of a clear goal in your project. I just thought "why?" Maybe you do have a clear question in mind, and just haven't stated it in your post. if not...A quick google search lead me to this hopefully helpful resource.  Science Fair Project GuideBelow is their TOC which i think serves as a handy outline for how one should approach almost any project. -----Getting StartedThe Scientific MethodYour QuestionLaboratory NotebookDoing Background ResearchBackground Research PlanFinding InformationBibliographyResearch PaperConstructing a HypothesisVariablesVariables for BeginnersHypothesisTesting Your Hypothesis by Doing an ExperimentExperimental ProcedureMaterials ListConducting an ExperimentAnalyzing Your Data and Drawing a ConclusionData Analysis & GraphsConclusionsCommunicating Your ResultsFinal ReportAbstractDisplay BoardScience Fair Judginghope this helps!good luck.

Can anyone help me on this science fair project?

I need a bible verse for my science fair project?

Ask of me, and I will show you great and mighty things, which thou knowest not...

Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

THE FASTEST way to cool soda is with a CO2 fire extinguisher IF money is no object, since it costs about $30.00 to recharge the fire extinguisher, this can be done in 30 seconds (or less).

A much more PRACTICAL way is to put it in the refrigerator...

FASTER is to put it in ice....

FASTER is to put it in ice AND ice water (submerged)

FASTEST is to put it in ice AND ROCK SALT in the water (submerged)...

The rock salt added TO the water allows the water to get down to about 15 degrees AND remain liquid, and this is THE fastest way to cool anything canned that you want to drink...

I saw a TV program about this where they used thermometers and stop watches and did all the above methods....It wasn't exactly a Christian program, they were cooling beer, but obviously the physics of the methods would apply to most anything in a can.

You could buy several six packs of generic soda, an inexpensive thermometer, and DO the above, record your results, and Voila!! (I remember buying a bag of rock salt that had a recipe for ice cream on the label, I don't remember the RATIO of rock salt to ice, but this shouldn't be too hard to find, ask grandma).

Forensic Science Fair Project Ideas!?

I'm a 10th grader in a Chemistry Honors Class, and just learned we have to do the Science fair. I'm having major difficulties picking a project--I have a slightly specific topic in mind, but can't seem to find any projects that don't involve human subjects.

I want a project dealing with Forensic Science, Fingerprints sound good, but involve human subjects.

I have limited lab equipment, if my science teacher allows me.

Any help would be soo wonderful

Any ideas???

[bonus points if you know sites that provide stepbystep...]

Thanks so muchh!

Where to get human teeth for science fair project?

Whoa....you may find it difficult to get your hands on natural human teeth...Teeth are usually extracted because they have been sitting in a pool of infection and that means that the tooth will still have infection on it's surface when it's extracted....Your best chance to get the teeth you want will be through the nearest Dental College...They could have a training supply that has been sterilized...and they may make a few available for a legitimate study project such as you have said you want them for. Good luck and I wish you well.

What are some examples of easy science fair projects?

Types of Science Fair ProjectsHelping your child with his science fair projects is a lot easier once he decides what type of project he’d like to do. There are five basic types of science projects to choose from.Investigative ProjectsAn investigative science projects for kids is the most common type. It involves using the scientific method to create a hypothesis and an experiment to test the hypothesis. For example, posing the question “Do plants grow better when fertilizer is used?” and then experimenting to come up with an answer. You can introduce your child to the concepts of having a control group, limiting variables, measurement, and determining the significance of results. The key will be to find a question that interests your child and an appropriately easy way to test it in the amount of lead time you have. You may also need to explain that negative results also further science.Research ProjectsA research project is basically a science report. It involves collecting information about a specific topic and presenting what you have discovered or learned. It’s typically best to start with a question. For example: “How does El Nino affect weather patterns?” You can discuss different information sources with your child and which are considered to be more reliable or authoritative. Also, discuss the need to make the presentation in her own words rather than copying what she finds.Demonstration ProjectsThis type of project shows a known scientific principle, such as the earth's magnetism, the force of gravity, or surface tension. Often, it recreates a classic experiment that originally proved the concept. This type of project may not be advanced enough for older students.ModelsA model science fair project involves building a model to demonstrate a principle or concept. Ideally, what your child builds will be unique, but there are classic projects like the baking soda volcano, or the Mentos and Diet Coke volcano. The challenge here will be to come up with something your child can build that will be different. It's better to find a model to build that interests your child but isn't one that is very common. For more information about science fair project idea visit on Engineering,Science Project, Arduino, Raspberry PI and Drone Store | Ranchi | Prayog India

What can I do to produce an original science fair project? I have brainstormed great project ideas but always find that they've already been invented.

Your project does not need to be unique to be of high quality. You aren’t doing original scientific research, you’re creating a science fair project. Even in research, scientists don’t always do original research; there is plenty of experimental science that reproduces (or disproves) the work of others. What you should focus on is the quality of your project. Keep everything on-topic, and adhere to principles of good science. Demonstrate that you understand the results of your experiment. Demonstrate as clearly as you can, how the facts and measurements relate to the principle or hypothesis of your project. Keep your display well organized and appealing in appearance. Know your facts and be practiced at expressing them verbally.Have fun!
