It is perfectly normal for him at this age. Even through his teen years, it will be something he will do. Do not worry and try to give him his privacy.

For those of you that have such a problem with my question, You are missing the point of my question entirely. I'm not worried about my sons penis size for status reasons. I am concerned that there is an actual medical problem for which he may not be able to have kids of his own some day.

AND after they’re microwaved they are then sterile.My biggest concern is, does this make him a psychopath who will torture people later in life?Rest assured, probably not.When I was his age I used to fry ants in the sun with my magnifying glass. I used to put red ants and black ants in a jar and watch them kill each other. Sounds pretty sick doesn’t it? But fortunately, or not surprisingly I turned out to be a relatively normal, well adjusted adult, who feels compassion and empathy for other people and animals.I have spent my entire adult life in the pursuit of humanitarian and volunteer efforts. Well if he's normal in all the other things, than just let him have this childish obsession. You say "big kid stuff", but power rangers? and even star wars the clone wars aren't all that big kid, you'll see when he starts watching porn :P. But anyways, if he just wants to watch thomas, than let him watch thomas, I enjoyed cartoons, of all kinds till I was like 12. But after that I matured pretty fast. So unless you think that your kid is really behind in intelligence or is "slow", let him have thomas. EDIT: S7088 has a point, like I said when he starts doing some bad things, you gonna say " And I can't believe he watched "Thomas: The Tank Engine" since he was 12". Seriously, enjoy while you can.
Male Doctor touched my 8 yr olds sons penis for 5 mins is this normal?
Me and my 8 yr old son went to the doctor because he said that his penis burns and stings. The dctor was a male around 60 yrs old he told me to take my sons pants down and made him lay down and examine my sons penis for about 8 mins he touched it and was holding it up touching it with cotton etc. My son had an erection. I was just wondering if this is normal or not because i find it weird and my son seemed abit traumatized from this.
