I Have An Electrical Line Of 120mm What Is The Size Of My Grounding

Why is the earth wire thicker than the live and neutral wire?

In a fault condition to earth, the earth wire will carry the same current as the wires supplying the fault. So, in theory, you could say they should be at minimum the same size.In reality, the fault current only lasts a short time before protection kicks in, so provided the earth was large enough to carry enough current to cause a fast trip of the supply, the earth wire can be smaller in many cases, more so if it's not insulated as it will not heat as quickly. The wire may be larger where regulations require a minimum earth wire size and thus the earth is larger than the supply. Or where the earth is actually an equipotential bond designed to reduce the impedance between two metallic objects, or where the need for a low voltage rise above ground during a fault is essential.

Is Taiwan considered a developed country?

Most answers are irrelevant because they talk about politics instead of what Taiwan is, a first world nation. What makes a country? A country has a president and it’s own government. Taiwan is completely sovereign and has no influence from China. Taiwan also has its own president. Given those facts, how anyone else could question the validity of Taiwan as a country is ridiculous. When you apply for a visa to visit Taiwan, can you also visit China without applying for a Chinese visa? If the answer is no, then you know Taiwan is a different country. Now let’s get to the question itself. Is Taiwan a developed country? Of course it is. It ranks top 25 out of over 196 countries in the world according to its HDI. The Taiwanese society is forward thinking and tolerates differences more than Korea and Japan. Standard of living is high and major international tech brands like MSI, Acer, ASUS and HTC are founded by Taiwanese in Taiwan.

Is it OK if you put a PC tower on carpet? I just bought a gaming PC and it looks like there is vents in the top.

It’s more of a specific case (terrible joke, sorry) by case thing, but here are some definites.Carpets are like dust magnets, they attract all the little flying bits and stick it on themselves. If you put your PC on it, it could suck up all these bits and make your machine overheat.Filters help in the long run,but still,it would just end up clogged, and cause no airflow. That is going to kill it quickly. But then, it depends on your carpet. Is it incredibly dense and thick, so thick that the bottoms of the case sink and practically touch the bottom of the carpet even with the feet on? Is the power supply fan facing down, so it is exausting whatever heat it has built up?If that is the case, then remove the PC or the carpet NOW. The PC will be killed much quicker this way, if the power supply fails to cool off properly and it ends up shorting something inside and shocking the entire system.

If you had unlimited funds and you were asked to create a tank, what would your tank look like?

I’m going with a subtle approach.First, let’s get abandoned Soviet tank factory raiding. I’m going to steal myself (with the aid of my ☭ amount of money) this:This is the 2B1 Oka self propelled artillery. Yes, I know, this isn’t a tank. It’s not even a tank destroyer. But really, all I want is the 420mm gun, maybe upgraded a bit and modified to be able to fire APFSDS shells and Super ATGMs.Now what do I put it on?Definitely the hull of the Object 279, length and width enlarged by a factor of two, making the chassis wide, long and flat. The tracks should also be wider, so as to give this tank amazing cross-country abilities. Then I’m going to modernize it, changing the entire hull to modern composite armor, with a layer of DU in between, basically replacing the hull with a completely different, modern one of the same size. Then I’m laying the entire hull with ERA bricks. All thanks to my ☭ amount of money! The turret won’t do, though.I’m putting the turret of the T-90 MS, modernized even more and enlarged to twice the size to accommodate our new 420mm main gun, mounted to the rear of the hull. With all that weight, power becomes an issue. As the turret is rear mounted, the engine can be mounted in front of the crew to improve crew safety. Our engine needs to be powerful and safe, in case a penetrating round blows the engine up. So this tank will be powered by a nuclear reactor.I call it the тонкий (subtle) tank.
