I Have Baby Of 5 Months. I Want To Know What Type Of Diapers Are Good For Baby Any Suggestion

How many wet diapers for 4 month old?

My 4 month old is EBF. I've noticed a huge dip in my milk supply since suffering with mastitis and now he isn't wetting diapers nearly as much. I've read they should have 6-8 soaking wet diapers a day, but didn't know if this was the case for a newborn or older baby. Also, how much is a soaking wet diaper? I poured 2 oz. in a clean diaper for comparision, but didn't know if this was "wet" enough to be a soaking diaper. Thanks!

What is the best brand of diapers to get for a baby in India?

The best diaper brands available in India are Pampers, Huggies and Himalaya. I have used all the three and found them very good. I'm highlighting the difference between the threePampers is soft and has an indicator line which tells you when the diaper is full.Himalaya as an anti rash lining which prevents rashesHuggies dry has good absorbent and keeps the inner lining dry.Leakage actually depends upon how properly the diaper use tied.Whichever brand you choose it should suit your baby's skin. Also, you can choose either taped or pant style diapers. As per my experience taped diapers are better for infants and once the baby starts to stand up you can use pant style. For a newborn or if you are trying diaper for the first time, you may go with Pampers.Hope this info was beneficial. Suggestions for cheaper but good alternative to Pampers?

Sometimes one brand of diapers will be the only brand that works with your baby's shape and size. I have found that Huggies and other store brand diapers that are closely similar to Huggies always leak with my daughter. However, I have found that Luvs are cut similarly to Pampers and are thin like Pampers and I have never had a single leak with Luvs or Pampers. Luvs are much cheaper and if you sign up at their website, they will send you a $5 off coupon in a few weeks.

What is the best baby powder to prevent diaper rash?

Baby powder isn’t really a good choice for preventing diaper rash. It has talc and the friction from the powder may in fact increase the rash. The best method to prevent diaper rash is to change soiled nappy asap and avoid wipes. Clean the genital area with lukewarm water and soft cloth. Wipes contain a number of chemicals which could actually increase the chance of baby getting rashes. As for diaper creams, Aquaphor, Bourdeaux, Destin, Sebamed are all tried and tested ones that has excellent reviews. At what age do most babies wear size 3 diapers?

I am making my sister-in-law a diaper cake and I want to put a larger size diaper so they can enjoy the cake a little bit longer. At about what age would you say a baby can wear size 3 diapers? I want the baby to start wearing them at around 4-6 months. What would be your size suggestion? Thanks!

My 8 month old son keeps taking his diapers off. Any tips?

there are lots of little diaper covers you can use. Mainly I see them for girls, to go under dresses and such, but I saw some for boys the other day at a little boutique. But if you dont mind the girl ones for just at night, there are plenty of those out there. Also gerber makes those plastic pants to go over cloth diapers. I dont know how comfy those would be, but they are cheap and you can get them at wal mart. You could also use any other cover designed for cloth diapers too- just google diaper covers and you should find a lot. good luck!

Does Luvs diapers give your baby a rash?

i recently switched my 10 month old son from Huggies diapers to Luvs. I have used only 1 box and a few from the 2nd box I just bought. He has a rash on his little wee wee and balls.. sorry to be graphic.. but I thought at first the rash was from antibiotics he was recently on, but its now been more than 3 weeks since hes been off them. I have tried Desitin, Butt Paste, Nystatin cream from his last antibiotic rash (not expired), cornstarch and almost every other non irritant or diaper rash cream I can find, Resinol too from his doctor. It wasnt getting worse until 2 days ago. Now its pretty rough and looking like its really irritated. Only thing I can think of is changing the diapers. Since I changed around the time he was on antibiotics I figured it was from that. His ped told me to use the Nystatin. Of course now its a holiday weekend and they arent open to bring him in. But he is starting to swell on the tip of his weenie. Any suggestions? Or should I just go buy the old diapers and see what heppens? Anyone else have or had this problem?

Which is the best diaper brand for a newborn baby in India?

When my baby was born I used Pampers both the taped and pant style. For newborn I found taped diapers to be better as they are easier to use. After 2 months my baby started getting rashes so I switched to Himalaya Herbals. They are also good. Used them for 6 months. Then again my baby got a lot of rashes. Since, then I am using Huggies Dry.Whichever brand you use, it should suit your baby's skin. All the three brands I used were equally good. For your newborn you can go for Pampers as it is the most recommended one.For all your queries regarding baby care and parenting you can download Parenting Tips & Baby Care App - Android Apps on Google Play.
