Does the new Honda CB Hornet have any problems, such as with mileage and engine heating? Is it worth the buy?
Im having a hornet for over 3 months. I was previously a owner of Yamaha FZ, Suzuki GS-150R, Bullet, Hero X-treme etc., This is the worst of all as far as pick-up/performance is concerned. I dont know where 15.6 BHP power and 14.7 Nm torque is released. I could not feel anywhere in the power band.There are lot of false neutrals. I get false neutrals around five times in a day.Performance drops drastically even for minor showers (rains). I feel I ride a moped during rains. Hornet can nowhere stand FZ and gixxer. As a Hornet owner and having spent over 95K, im very frustrated with this bike. Honda’s engineers dont have answers for my questions when Honda dealers arranged a meeting with Honda directly at Mansarovar Honda, Velachery, Chennai.All they could assure was to convey my issue to the management.Mileage seems to be ok. IM getting around 50 kmpl. Braking ok too. Handling and roadgrip is also not upto the mark and cannot be compared with the riding confidenc e FZ gives.Please dont go for Hornet. If you stay in Chennai, please test ride my bike and decide.
