Why can't I delete my yahoo group?
Hi, The problem is that you are NOT an owner, which means you can't add privileges to your moderator account (only an owner would be able to do that - hence the error). As the sole moderator with no owner at all, the group should have already been deleted automatically. I've gone ahead and deleted it for you (as that is what you've been wanting to do from the beginning). Hope that helps!

Go to my groups, click on the group you're needing to delete pics from, over to the left it'll have home, messages, files, photos, click on photos. Go to the photos you are wanting to delete and check the box located at the photos and then just click the delete option. If this option isn't there, then the owner of the group has to be the one to delete the pics and you will need to contact them and tell them to delete them. You should be able to delete your own photos that you posted, though.

The group could be changed to Private - but I'm not sure if that would have any affect on a Google search! What happened to Yahoo Chat Rooms?
Yahoo closed their chatrooms a long time ago. Whether it was because they weren’t safe as they stated, or because they were not safe, remains unknown.But it isn’t just Yahoo that shut down chatrooms. This is simply because chatrooms as a concept have been losing popularity due to the growing social media/network popularity like facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.However, I do stil believe that chatrooms can make a comeback IF done properly, something like Gather Online is trying to achieve. They’re trying a mix of chatrooms/social media features and I do believe that it will work out for them in the long run.

Yes I would. I have learned so much from this forum that I wished I knew when I started homeschooling 6 years ago. I would have saved myself a lot of grief and expense if I had the benefit of the regulars knowledge and experience. (Actually I come on here quite often when I am depressed and discouraged and just reading the postings inspires me and gives me strength to go back and fight the good fight.)
