I Have Been Having Diarrhea And Cramps. And A Bit Of A Stuffy Nose. Bad Stomach Aches Too.

How does a sinus infection lead to an upset stomach?

Bacteria can breed more bacteria, especially when the sinuses are not well aeriated trapping extra secretions inside. This invites more bacteria of different species in addition to fungus and yeast to proliferate. All these dirty secretions from the sinuses will eventually drain to the back of the throat especially when lying flat. Most of those secretions end up being swallowed and the rest is history!

Use Q-tips to gently clean inside the ears. Too much earwax build up can cause all sorts of illness.
Also, if you drink half (100ml) of a Yop (Yoplait Yogurt) the bacteria's culture might help too. (if you're not allergic to milk/dairy products).
When in doubt, consult your doctor.
I hope you find your cure today.
Have a healthy happy life. :)

Nausea, Headache, Body aches, stuffy nose?

Sounds like the flu. It's epidemic in many areas right now.

Call your doctor as there are medications you can take that will greatly reduce the length of time you are ill, but they must be started within 48 hours of developing symptoms. If there is no flu in your area, you may want to book an appointment and get it checked out.

Stomach ache after eating wheat pasta?

For the past two days I have eaten wheat pasta at lunch. I made a little pasta salad with veggies, very little mayo and just a little ricotta cheese. Now, I've eaten all of the things I put into the salad besides this pasta. Its Barilla whole wheat pasta. After I eat i get the burps a little more than usual, and an EXTREMELY full feeling though I haven't eaten much. And my stomach feels like its turning a lot more than usual. Nothing painful but just, uncomfortable. Is this normal? Could I have an allergy to wheat or just an intollerance? No stuffy nose or tight throat.

Do I have a stomach bug? Why hasn't it gone away yet?

I went to the doctor yesterday as I was feeling really sick. The other day I had diarreaha and horrible stomach cramps that would come and go. He told me yesterday that I should fast for 24 hours and that would get rid of my stomach bug. I felt a little better today, and at the 24 hour mark I had some cereal. My stomach immediately felt worse than it did earlier today and then i got diarrhea again. The cramping is all throughout my stomach, lasts for about 10 seconds and makes me feel like I'm going to throw up. It is sometimes so bad I have to hold onto something. Is this really a bug? Should I fast again? I was just so hungry!!

Can swallowing mucus be the cause of an upset stomach?

It’s unlikely. Your GI tract is the domain of mucous. If anything, you’re sending troves of secreted antibodies into the largest surface area of of the immune system. However, it’s likely that the same reaction that triggered the mucous is also triggering an upset stomach.Feel better soon.

Why does drinking Sprite help when you're sick?

From my experience, I don’t think soda works best for me. For one, it has way too many sugars in it, and it makes me feel bloated. I also learned that ginger ale actually does NOT have any real ginger, so it honestly makes no sense to drink soda, unless for the carbonation or to ease nausea.Eating is obviously ruled out because of the lack of appetite while ill, so I believe the best solutions are natural remedies for sickness, for instance, ginger or spearmint caffeine free tea. If you’re under the weather, it’s best to get fever grass (wheat grass) leaves, two cloves of garlic, and ginger or spearmint caffeine free tag bag. You can also add a pinch of cayenne pepper, since pepper helps with congestion and knocking out fevers.Bring the water to boil, and place all the above in the water. Let it boil for 7 to 12 minutes, and then pour the tea in a cup. Wait another 5 to 10 minutes (covered) for the remedy to be absorbed, and drink the tea every 2 to 3 hours. Do not add any sugar: so no honey, brown sugar, or sweeteners. Your home will smell of strong garlic, and that could possibly help with any congestion you may have. And of course, drink room temperature water, crackers for energy and saltiness, and lots of rest. Stay away from any mucus (phlegm) building foods like dairy and sugar. Absolutely no cold foods or drinks as it can irritate the throat! If your stomach feels uncomfortable, like gas is trapped, the tea can help. In addition, massaging your stomach, especially the lower abdomen, can help bowel movements, which can help with passing of gas as well. Putting your knees to your chest and pressing down can also apply pressure on the stomach, forcing the gas to come out. And burping helps too.But of course, this may not work for you , but I hope this helps. This is from my experience, and from back home (Jamaica) knowledge of trying to rid of illness. But modern medicine is fine, or even just sticking out the cold until you feel better is okay as well. As long as you’re getting enough rest to fight the illness and drinking room temperature water, you should be fine, unless symptoms persist longer than it should without any sort of recovery. That’s when it’s time to visit your primary care.

I have a bad sore throat, please help..?

I live in Australia, and well, yesterday, I had bad diarrhea (only for one day) with bad stomach pains. Then at night time it left, and I got active and went around, in the pool etc (It's summer here) and then after a sleep over in the morning I had a sore throat, and well now it's worse. My throat feels clogged. It's harder to breathe, my nose hurts and its blocked, and I have had medicine. Now it's late at night, what should i do? I have a bottle of gatorade next to me...so would that help? Will I feel better when I wake up? And is this the same bug that gave me those stomach pains? Also, I will wake up right? like I won't stop breathing in the middle of night? :S...
