I Have Been Watching Kid Snippets Lately And One Of The Videos Had A Link To Another Video Called

What is your favorite song?

Instagram by Dean.I love this song because it perfectly illustrates how social media serves as a facade for how we really feel. Someone could be posting the happiest pictures in the world on Instagram but secretly be sad and no one would ever know. It also helps that this song has a video that if seen without the lyrics, makes no sense. In the music video, Dean stays in the same exact room for the entire song, where he mostly stays in the center of the room. When you first see him, he comes off as more of a rapper by the way he is dressed. When I first saw this video, I was disappointed and confused with what I was watching, but the more I thought about it, I started to realize how well the video actually portrayed the song. The reason why he was dressed like he was was not because it was a rap song, which it isn’t, but because it is supposed to show the fake facade of Instagram. While he looked like a rapper to most, including me when I first watched it, behind his rapper facade was really just a guy, singing about his frustrations and loneliness. Immediately judging his appearance and putting him into the rapper category was unfair, but it is exactly what the song was about: unfair judgement and hiding emotion. Another part of this song/video that I really love is the pause right before the outro of the song where he stops singing and says the words, “sometimes I feel alone.. like Robinson Crusoe.” I don’t know why I am enamored by this, as I have seen it done in the Blood Sweat and Tears video by BTS (which I loved too). It connects to the song on the loneliness level, but other than that, I’m not sure how Robinson Crusoe has to do with the song. I know that being confused and not sure how parts of a song fit together should be a reason to dislike it, but for some reason that I can’t figure out, it makes me like it more. If you get the chance you should really take a look at it (with subtitles).

Why do some people blink a lot while talking? What does this say about the person or the things he/she is saying? Can we extract any information from that?

A lot of answers have explained the blink rate as a sign of lying. However this is not completely true.An increase in the blink rate can mean cognitive load or excessive thinking, it can also mean nervousness or anxiety. The blink rate can also be copied from another when the person is having good rapport, this is called mirroring and is part of empathy. It is therefore very important to know what a person’s blink rate is when they are under no stress and are not lying and when they are nervous and not lying.Never think that one red flag or behavioral clue signifies lying. This will only lead to trouble. For some people it is a tick which can be genetic or is due to psychological difficulties which I will not go into further because it is not my field of study.

I want to be good coder. I am 23 now and I want to take my passion for coding seriously now because I want to get placed in big companies. Is it too late to start coding at the age of 23? What is the scope for coding? What are your suggestions?

As others have rightly pointed, it is never late to start anything in life, let alone coding or programming. Better late than neverNow the fact that you are starting at 23 still gives you an head start compared to a lot of other people even pretty successful business owners and entrepreneurs who has learnt coding, long time after their business flourishes or drops dead. I want to get placed in big companiesIf you are passionate about programming and you really want to learn a lot then I would say that you should change your idea about joining a big company. A start up especially one with less than 20 people will be an ideal place for you to join when you are starting new. I learnt a lot about programming in 1-10 Member company than most of my acquaintances who works for a MNC. Tips and SuggestionsStart with something simple. Don't try to do everything at once and give up soon. Rather start with one programming language at a time. Start with PHP, Ruby or Python. Learn the basics first. If you are good at the fundamental level, then you can master any technologyDon't be a book worm. I've seen people who would just take a "Complete Reference" book and keep on reading it till they reach the last page. What good is it? Programming is all about practical implementation. Keep writing code. The more you write code the better you get at it. Write some more code. Yes, there is no better way to learn programming than to practice the code. Start with small code snippets and work your way up. After a while when you become confident try to draw up your own requirements and work towards it on a bigger project. Use Stack Overflow as a reference not a clipboard. A lot of people when usually starting their career use Stack Overflow, Codeproject and a lot of other reference sites as a clip board. Instead you should be using it as  a reference. Never copy paste a code. Even if you are going to replicate the exact code, type it. Get a feel for it. Understand what it means and how it works. That will go a long way in helping you understand the mechanics of the technology. Remember your motive should be to learn a technology and the monetary part automatically follows, if you focus on earning money then you might not have enough to place it on your learning curve.

How can I increase the traffic on my website?

So you launched a new website - congrats! Maybe you even installed google analytics. You check back to see all this new traffic and all you get is:Well that’s a bummer. Fear not friend, here’s a few thoughts on what to do after launching a new site that I previously shared on the CU Times - while this was written for credit union marketers, these points are universal.Develop an acquisition strategyFocus on intent and qualified traffic by leveraging search and social media advertising to drive bottom of the funnel traffic while data-driven display advertising powers the top. All advertising is not created equal so you’ll need to build a media mix to bring in a blend of visitors at various stages to make your site effective at achieving conversion goals.(bonus - read my answer to: How can I boost conversions of visitors on my website?)Use content marketing for SEOAbout 1 in 3 people searching will actually click on an ad. So with an acquisition strategy in place, we’ve got 1/3 of our opportunity taken care of. What about the rest of it?That’s where SEO comes in. I’m talking about the white hat, Olivia Pope, good guy kind of SEO. None of this keyword cramming, weird linking, promises of page one results overnight junk. The kind that matters to search engines and your visitors comes in the form of creating value, answering questions and being an expert resource. That only comes from turning into a content publisher.Get socialFind out where your target audiences are hanging out socially. Engage in conversations there. Don’t just link drop - come on now - you’re better then that. Create value, share thoughts, add ideas and develop your brand.Build loyaltyGive people a reason to engage with you and get updates from you. Someone found you - awesome! Now incent them with free content upgrades, cookies (seriously, actually saw a small bakery do this.) whatever it takes just get them to engage so you can communicate with them again in the future.Good luck!
