Can I change my college after first year of engineering ?
Yeah you absolutely can change your branch or college after first year. I’ll explain both below:BRANCHIn many engineering colleges the syllabus of all the branches in first year is approximately same. They do it so that student can have a overview of all branches and if they find that the branch they took is not their cup of tea, students can change it after the first year. There are some factors on which you will be shifted. First of them is availability of seats. If there is a seat available in the branch that you seek then there is a chance that you will be admitted to that branch. Second factor is your percentage, some colleges are having minimum percentage requirements if you want to change your stream if you are fulfilling it then you can easily change your stream.COLLEGEStudent can also change their college after first year but they can only go to a college which is under the same university as their present college. Then you only have to take migration certificate any you can move. If you want to go to a college which is under another university then there are many problems which you will be facing firstly you have to take NOC and migration certificate from university that you are studying in. After that when you go to new college they will cross check the subjects that you studied in your previous college if there is any subject(of first year in your new college) that you haven’t studied in you previous college then they will show your backlog in that subject and you have to clear those subjects. Moreover some colleges also will ask you to pay money for the first year if you want to take admission in second year.

Well it depends on how do you want ur life to shape up , do u want to earn lot of money, fame ad a luxurious life or do u want to make other ppl's life better by doing something that enhances ur social participation in society or do u want to be working , discovering or even inventing something . Ask this urself and you will get the ans. yourself , where do u see yourself from 10 years now on , and it doesn't matter from which stream you r as of today 1000's of career options are available , so think hard for ur future .I am not writing any particular career to chose after science coz u may think at a different level than me , otherwise u can do btech, bsc(h) or join commerce stream and then go for anMBA or go for mtech, ms or msc or even phd. to bcome a scientist or u can go for being a social worker, be an economist, CA, journalist , there r 1000's of options to choose but only u will know what do u want from ur life .
