I Have Heard That A Nokia Lumia 920 Uses Less Data Is This True

Which phone is good Nokia lumia or iPhone?

Namaste.iPhone is better or Lumia..! Depends on what you want from your phone.iPhones have a lot of apps in the store. The OS is very simple. Looks great and feels good too. iPhones have superb after sales services too. The number of iPhone users is more than windows users. iPhone gets respect(atleast in India).. But it comes with a price… Its damn expensive and the OS is very closed. You cant customize it at all.Where as on the other hand is Lumia… It runs(newer ones) on the Windows 10 os. Windows 10 works on pc/mobiles/xbox/smartbands etc. This helps in a lot of way… Right now more than 300 million people are using it… The app development is growing (but not at par with Android or iOS) . You get a universal UI on your pc and mobile which helps you to stay synced all the time well..But lumia are less expensive, a but more open than iPhones (you get file manager..etc) has options for dual sims.So its up to you to decide which is better… iPhones are no doubt the first preference of millions of people but Windows is getting great too. In coming years Windows will be at par with other OS. As of now you can go with iPhones or Android smartphones…

Which brand of mobile phone do 'real' techies use and why?

I use Google Nexus devices. They don't interfere with whatever I am doing. Not a fan of Samsung for that reason. Samsung devices can be customized, but I just want a factory phone that doesn't restrict me and Nexus does that well.Prior to that, I used Microsoft Windows Mobile devices made by HTC. These phones were capable of more than people realized. I also have a Lumia 920, which again runs a Microsoft operating system and is still supported for Windows 10 upgrades. I love that phone, but it can't be my primary device because its web browser is inadequate. Here is one reason to use a Nexus 5.Open dialer and type in *#*#info#*#*This will open a testing app that will show you in real-time your cellular signal strength and allow you to lock the phone into LTE-only mode. This comes in very handy when the signal is very weak and the phone keeps switching to low speed networks. I can also use this to point my phone at the tower when signal is weak and I don't know the direction of the tower.Another reason is my SlimPort accessory, which lets me connect this phone to any HDMI TV. It works very well.My iOS devices are jailbroken, but Nexus 5 is my primary device for now. I will likely upgrade to Nexus 5X soon. The only downside to using non-mainstream devices is finding accessories like cases for my phone. My Nexus 5 gets Android updates as soon as they are available. I had Marshmallow in September.

How do I download apps (>50mb) without a Wi-Fi network on my Lumia 530?

1. Navigate yourself  to the app which you want to install.2. Now scroll down and on your left you will see "Download and install manually". Click on it and download will start.3. After the download is complete go to your Downloads folder and move the .xap file to the root of SD Card on your Windows Phone.4. Now eject your Windows Phone and restart it or put back your SD Card if using card reader. After it switches on wait for 5-7 minutes and then go to Store and you will find SD Card option (WP8) or "Install local apps" (WP8.1). Once identification is done tick the app(s) you want to install and click on install. And your app will be installed in a few seconds.

Which is the best price comparison site in India?

Sorry for "tooting one's own horn" but in terms of product diversity (over 200 categories, 6000 brands), number of partner websites (40+) including top Indian e-commerce stores (Flipkart, Amazon, eBay, Snapdeal, etc), overall traffic (over 13 million users per month) and product offerings, MySmartPrice is arguably the best Price comparison site in India.

Which smartphone does all these things for $280?

Lenovo P780. I have this phone with me infact. I bought it coz I lost my Nokia Lumia 920 and couldn't afford to buy it again. Lenovo P780 is the best that you can get at this price. Beautiful, sharp, crisp 5" display, dual sim, 1.2 Ghz quad core processor, 1 GB ram, android 4.2 os, 8 megapixel rear camera, 0.3 mega pixel front camera, 8 Gb internal memory, upto 32 gb expandable through micro SD card slot, dual sim and 4000 mah battery (This is actually the selling point of this phone) Most of the android phone of this price comes with half the battery limit of this device. With samsung, sony you would hardly get batteries of upto 2000 mah in this price. These androids have a poor battery life within few months you would be charging them 3 times a day. This thing lasts more than a day to almost 2 days on 3G on a full single charge, even if you use it moderately and play your games. It's back panel is real metal, no plastic. It has got usb on the go, you can straightaway connect your pen drives, external usb storage and access it through your phone, watch your videos, music whatever. This basically means you have endless external storage, you can even connect wireless keyboard and mouse with it and yeah it's huge battery can charge someone else's phone by connecting through the usb port. It's solid, feels good, looks good and this is the only 1 GB ram android that I haven't seen lagging yet, it's running quite smoothly and was able to run High end 3D game like need for speed most wanted easily but oh yeah don't buy the Chinese version. I got to know a lot of people are being handed the Chinese versions of this handset in US and UK. You can open the back panel and check the non removable battery, if you find Chinese symbols in it or any other language apart from English don't buy it
