I Have Mail Plus. How Do I Create A Disposable Address/

How do you delete a disposable email base name address in the NEW Yahoo Mail?

I know that this was possible in the old version of Mail Plus, but the NEW mail doesn't seem to provide an obvious way.

I tried creating a 2nd account just to see if it was because I was a legacy Mail Plus or if I maybe have already deleted the base name twice already (which I know is the limit).

It didn't make a difference. In both the new and old, they both behave the same.

Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

How do i delete disposable address base name?

Hi there,

The base name associated with a Yahoo Mail account can only be deleted twice. Once this limit is reached, regardless of the reason, you will be unable to delete or change your base name.

Furthermore, Yahoo cannot reset the base name limit or change the base name for you.

I have included an article that provides further information and may assist you with this matter.

Unable to create new disposable address base name in new mail account?

I am unable to create a new disposable address base name in new mail account. It is happening on several email accounts. These are accounts where a base name has not yet been created. When you try to add a new base name the screen greys and nothing happens. You have to either close the window or back out of browser to clear.

It previously worked a few weeks ago for some other mail accounts where I was able to add.

What is the best way to create multiple email addresses?

You know, I’m in dropshipping business, and to sell my products I often opt for email marketing. And you know, for email marketing one needs to have a couple of email accounts. So I used to spend hours after hours to create email accounts myself. Not to mention the troubles I had to face with getting them verified. But, later I came to know that one can easily buy a bunch of emails from freelance websites like Fiverr. So I decided give it a shot, and you know what? I ended up paying for some emails that don’t even work.So I gave up on that purchasing thing, and gladly accepted the troubles of creating multiple accounts all by myself. But one day I came to know about Temporary emails. And guess what?I no longer bother spending hours for creating accounts.I use Email On Deck, and with their “2 Steps” system, I can now create hundreds of emails within just a few seconds. So for creating multiple emails with less troubles, I’d suggest you to go for Email On Deck. And don’t worry, the temporary emails work just fine and will help you out complete any online task.Hope it helpsCheer……….

How can I create multiple Gmail addresses under one Google Account?

If you sign up for a Google Apps account using a domain that you own, you could setup one account and then setup an email alias (or multiple) for that account so that all mail sent to either address is sent to the one parent account.Example: first.last@domain.com would be your primary account and then first.last.hobby@domain.com could be one of your email aliases. Additionally, you could have first@domain.com point as an alias of first.last@domain.com as well. You can find more information about email aliases at http://www.google.com/support/a/.... For more information about Google Apps, and to sign-up for an account, you can go to google.com/a.

If my email address is bigeast@example.com, how come I can also receive email at bigeast+test@example.com?

Yes, the server is configured to allow this. But what is the '+something' part? The answer is below, and essentially is that you can append tags to valid email addresses (provided that the server is configured and can handle it) to apply additional filtering or other functionality like disposable email addresses on the receiving end. See below:Some mail services allow a user to append a tag to their email address (e.g., joeuser+tag@example.com). The text of tag may be used to apply filtering and to createsingle-use addresses.[5][6][7] However, some mail servers violate RFC 5322, and the recommendations in RFC 3696, by refusing to send mail addressed to a user on another system merely because the local-part of the address contains the plus sign (+). On the other hand, most installations of the qmail and Courier Mail Serverproducts support the use of a hyphen '-' as a separator within the local-part, such as joeuser-tag@example.com or joeuser-tag-sub-anything-else@ex.... This allows qmail through .qmail-default or .qmail-tag-sub-anything-else files to sort, filter, forward, or run an application based on the tagging system established. It is also quite common for web forms to either refuse to accept the plus sign as a part or the username or to even misbehave in an undetermined manner[citation needed]. Disposable email addresses of this form, using various separators between the base name and the tag are supported by several email services, including Runbox (plus and hyphen),Google Mail (plus),[8] Yahoo! Mail Plus (hyphen),[9] Apple's MobileMe (plus), FastMail.FM (plus and Subdomain Addressing),[10] and MMDF (equals). The name sub-addressing is the generic term (used for plus-addressing and hyphen-addressing) found in some IETF standards-track documents, such as RFC 5233.Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ema...

Not sure what service you signed up with to obtain the disposable e-mail feature, but here is a generic instruction for most----->

Search Addresses: You can view a big table with all your disposables by clicking the button that says "search addresses". If you do not enter any search terms, all your available addresses will be displayed.

If you looking to change your display name on Yahoo e-mail do this----->
Go to "Options" on the right side of your email page. Under “Management” click General Preferences. “From name:” type in the name you want to show. Click “Save”
