Pcos? ovarian cysts? anyone who had them...?
PCOS. I have it, i do have the hair growth, and the back pain, but i unlike you have little to no periods. I have 2 children but it was VERY difficult for me to get pregnant. We tried for 4-6 years before we had our 2nd child. In 2000, was when i stopped having periods. I thought, wow finally preg. but when i took test after test, i wasnt. I have always had really irregular periods, so i waited until i missed 2 complete periods b4 taking one. Then when the tests showed up as negative, i waited and waited thinking "ok i will start soon." i waited for 6 months without a period. When i finally went to the dr. he did a pap and pelvic exam. My cysts were covered with huge cysts. Some were so large that he could feel them when doing a pelvic. He did an intravaginal ultrasound, and said that i had to have surgery. In 2001, he had to operate. The next day after surgery, he came in and talked to me. He told me that among the small cysts he removed, i had 2 that were huge. One-the size of a grapefruit, the other the size of a cantaloupe. He put me on some fertility pills. They were very expensive, and insurance didnt pay for them. I took them for 6 months, and stopped. I finally got pregnant, about 6 months after stopping them. I still have lots of trouble with my periods. Anyways, that's my experience. Is it possible to treat mild cystic acne without Accutane?
I have just a few very small cystic spots on my nose. They don't hurt, and they don't stand out in a particularly noticeable way. However, they've been there for a while, and I'd really like to treat it without using Accutane. I'd appreciate any ideas, homemade remedies, and the like. Thanks!

My mom's having surgery on a 7mm cyst in her breast. what does this mean?
my dad says that it's benign. but my mom is crying all the time, and i caught her googling tumor of the axilia. she also said something was wrong with both her breasts. i have no idea what any of this means. can anybody help me out?
Does anyone have any experience with arachnoid cyst on the brain?
I'm 17 and i've been diagrnosed with an arachnoid cyst. My doctor referred me to a neurologist also, but who you really need to see is a neurosurgeon because it has to be removed. I found out from my doctor that I have to see the neurosergeon not a neurologist. You may want to call your doctor to check that.
I have an arachnoid cyst. I feel horrible and helpless. Does anyone have any information or treatment options?
Thanks for the request to chime in here. The majority of these cysts are both asymptomatic and need no treatmentAlthough some do cause a list of symptoms and then need either removal or drainage. It all depends on your case. MOST are just watched and left aloneIt is one of those rare birds that once you know you can be directed accordingly.The first step is to get in the hands of a neurosurgeon who understands the ramifications and can properly mange and monitor things. This is definitely not a situation where I would let my PCP be in control.
