Finding a job suitable for a muslim is rare? any ideas?
hi, iam a very religios muslim man iam 17 and am a qari and a soon to be hafiz (inshallah) but i find that being a religious muslim & finding a job that isnt haram is hard in america.Its not as easy iam a teen an most jobs i can get would be fast food eat food they sell is not zabiha nor halal so it is very bad for me to work in a place like such Ex: mcdonalds subway w/e i have a good resume and a 4.0 and great work ethics and am perfect for many jobs. but when i go to interview like i went to starbuks and vons they turned me down saying my beard makes me and the company look unprofessional. These are same companies who when i talked over the phone and faxed my resume guranteed me a job, but once they say that iam muslim man who prays and grows my beard and wears a kufi they rejected me. ihave been having a tough time and my patience is running out iam stressed i need a job to help my mom pay the bills like my madressa fee and house bills she is all i have i pray i will find 1 soon?

I need to move out of my parent's house. I have no job or skills but I have $570,000 in cash from inheritance. I currently live in an expensive city. Where do you recommend I move to?

Founders working on their startups from 7–2am with a 9–5 job.All you need is a room to sleep and a kitchen to cook food. And some company at night where you can talk about ‘'BUSINESS’.What to do with your money?Buy a notebook and start researching about investing in stocks and S&P index funds. Give yourself one year.Work 24/7. Read books. You should Google every word you don’t understand and read the first 20 pages search results on every search.Invest part of your capital( $50.000,—) in a S&P index Fund. And leave it there.Start buying some stocks (Max $100.000,—). Start studying trends. Look at Fintech Companies, Tech Companies, Big Construction Companies, Companies in Europe. The idea here is to diversify your investment. Again read some books on How to invest in Stocks. And buy stocks.In between all your hustle you’ll have to attend some tech conferences around town. Start networking in SV; visit Startup Accelerators and talk to founders/CEOs; Read tech news on tech sites to know which events to visit. Get to know what is going on in the tech scene. Breathe. You don’t need to have your life figured out at 18. This is your time to explore your interests and learn how to be an adult.Get a driver’s license. You don’t need to buy a car just yet, but at least have a license. Use public transportation until you can get a car.Get a job…any job. Chances are your first job is not going to be your dream job. You have to start at the bottom. Dream jobs don’t usually become an option until you have some work experience, so get some! Even if you hate this job, you will learn so much about life. This is valuable and cannot be replicated in a classroom. Your first job will teach you how to be a good employee: show up on time, follow directions and show that you are eager to learn.Open up a bank account if you don't have one already.Think back to your school days. What did you like and not like? Which subjects were strong in? Weak? Did you enjoy practical, hands-on classes or were you more of an academic person? What did you dream of becoming when you were a little girl?Go to a temp agency or community college to take an aptitude test. This will help you learn more about which types of careers you would be good at it.Research these potential careers and find out what type of training/education is required. Talk to people who are currently working in these careers and ask if you can shadow them. Find out what they like and don’t like about their career.The best thing and worst thing about being 18 is that you have many options. It’s hard to pick a path and start walking because we always worry about whether we are making the right choice. It’s ok to be scared. Just realize that you have to start walking if you want to get anywhere. As long as your choice is not illegal and doesn’t involve hurting others, then you will be ok. I promise.
Kicked out with no money, no idea what to do.?
I'm being kicked out by my parents, they've moved to a trailer park only people over 50 yrs old can live in. I'm 18 now so they have no legal responsibility over me anymore. I have no money, no job, no car, not even a license because they never took the time to teach me and I can't afford driving classes or tests or anything. I can't afford anything. I have been couch surfing but I have nowhere left to go. I've tried applying for jobs but never get contacted for interviews or anything. I'm basically about to be homeless and I'm so scared. I need to get an apartment. My boyfriend is supposed to be my roommate with me but he's suddenly not even wanting to. He's got it made living with his parents, I wouldn't want to leave their house either if I was him ): I'm so lost I don't know what to do. I don't go to college so on-campus housing is not an option, neither is staying with friends or my bf because I'm not welcome anymore. Please help me I don't know what to do.
Full time college student with no job ?
I'm currently at the end of my freshman year at college . I'm a very hard worker and dedicated to my school work . I do not live on campus . I still live in my parents house. I also do not have a job ( but do have a good amount of money saved up) . My parents pay for my gas and my college tuition. Is it bad if I don't get a job ? I'm afraid that it would interfere with my college work and studying. What happens if I don't get a job ? I need some answers . My parents are giving me the choice to get a job or not . Atleast I'm not some bum sitting at home all day with no job or education . Please let me know what I should do
