How do I play high end games in a low end laptop with 128 mb inbuilt dedicated graphics memory and 2 gb Ram and a 2.2 Ghz Intel processor?

Mods are available for games such as Grand Theft Auto 5 and Watch Dogs that reduces the graphics of your game beyond the available in game settings. This includes reducing some effects to completely removing some eye candy such as shadows, reflections, ambient occlusion, reducing texture quality and polygon counts .You might even have to reduce the resolution to beyond the lowest for playable FPS.Based on the given specs of your laptop it seems it isn't meant for gaming. But you can still use its maximum potential by.Opening up task manager and ending unwanted tasks to clear up more ram.You should make sure that its unwanted otherwise it could lead to system instability. DO NOT use soft wares such as Game Booster as these are est suited for high end hardware and in your case reduces the overall system performance.Use virtual Ram as some games(not all)benefit from this. These steps can help you run titles that were released till 2013 and some other highly optimized titles too but don't expect stable 60 FPS or even 30 and don't let me remind you of the graphics.Note:If you end up wanting to buy a gaming computer go for a desktop as these offer more than 30% more performance as compared to their laptop counterpart at the same price range.

What is the best laptop for a student?

I had the same problem When I was in the first semester of my college, I made a mistake, I went with budget + performance I searched for the Highest spec machine I could get with the lowest price so I found the laptop which I am currently using It has the following specifications:-Intel Core i7 6th gen, 8Gb Ram, 4Gb integrated AMD Graphics card, 15.6-inch screen with Dos.It cost me around ₹ 60K including the peripherals I bought with it. It’s a really nice machine space grey in color. but there are some defects which I totally hate about it.It’s heavy, my college forces to carry my laptop very often and every time carrying a laptop of this size becomes a pain It would have been so much better if it was more portable. It doesn't have a backlit keyboard, when my roommate is asleep and I want to work I have to work typing becomes a very tough task even if you can blindly type it is very difficult to do the work in the dark.I got many issues like the wifi stopped working on my system the whole motherboard was replaced.I don’t game on my system, I don’t play games on my system and it’s not the system’s fault, but I thought that I will buy a powerful machine and game once in a while but I have totally switched to Linux because windows sucks and I don’t really use the power of my machine. rather I could have opted for a more quality product with a less powerful processor. So I would tell you that If you are a student and planning to buy a laptop don’t buy a high configuration machine until or unless you are a hardcore gamer or you are getting it for a reasonable price with good quality. I would recommend that you go for MacBook Air 2017 don’t buy MacBook Air 2018 It’s way too costly for no reason at least for a student, You will get it Under 50K If you search for it hard enough or wait until an offer season pops up.It has got good build quality, a backlit keyboard, >10 Hour battery life and it light like Air. although it has a screen of 13 Inches you can easily overlook it if you don’t watch a lot of movies. It is will be helpful for IOS Development if you enter it some time along the path of your college path. And the Apple ecosystem is just so good and satisfying.Take it just as a suggestion for a senior am not promoting any product. ALL THE BEST.

Caesar IV lags when I play it?

it is either a result of bad post processing on their end, or a conflicting software component but all your stuff is pretty mainstream. I read PC Gamer and i'm pretty sure i remember them saying that even on their super computers it was laggy (which makes me assume its a problem on their part) look on their website for patches, and upgrade the drivers for your motherboard and video card drivers to make them more up to date. You could also since its Vitsa (i.e the OS that runs nothing very well) find a program that forces it to be run on XP mode and run it through that.

Can I overclock my AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ Processor? Can you please give me directions how to do it? Thanks!?

Yes, you can overclock your processor but it can be dangerous if you dont know exactly what your doing. You can fry your CPU/Motherboard and be up a river without a paddle.

Always best to buy a computer with the processor speed of what you want from the start.

Can I use a 1GB or a 512 Nvidia graphic card with a Pentium Dual Core processor?

The CPU doesn't so much have an influence on what graphics card you can have - that's more about the motherboard (i.e. what expansion slots are available - PCIe or older types). And if your mobo supports both the CPU (i.e. it's socket type and speeds) as well as the graphics card's slot type - then there shouldn't be an issue with the hardware. The only thing I can see which may give an issue is if you're going to use a 32bit OS on that. Sorry - don't know if your P-duo is 32/64 bit, seeing as you do get both variants (though the 32 is a bit old). Anyhow - if it is 32bit or if you've got a 32bit OS running on it (even if the CPU is 64 bit) then the following applies:The physical address space of 32bit computers is 2^32 = 4GB. This means all things in the computer needs addresses within that 4GB range, RAM, GPU-RAM, IO devices, etc. Most 32bit OSs accommodate expansion by "leaving" a portion of the 4GB free by not using all RAM available if it's 4 or more. E.g. Windows 32bit tends to allow only 2GB of RAM by default, the upper 2 is left for other address requiring devices - in which the GPU's RAM falls. This is the biggest reason it's very silly installing a 2GB or larger graphics card in a 32bit system - it would either not use all its own RAM or it would eat up some of your main RAM by killing off the address space for it.There's a boot switch in Windows which reduces this "blank" spot in the addresses so you can use more than 2GB of main RAM. If you enable this, then you should be able to use at least most of your 3GB RAM while the 1GB/512MB card should also still work fine, else no matter the card - you'd only see 2GB RAM available from the 3 you've got installed.3GB Switch in Windows boot.iniEnabling 3GB switch on Windows XP or Windows VistaThough it's not always preferable to do this, sometimes you see strange artefacts in graphics if you do it. Or worse: a driver may fail to load.

Can I play PUBG on a 4GB RAM?

The answers you’re getting are on the conservative side I feel - citing the system requirements and such - and I’d like to provide a different perspective. While I cannot do an in-depth technical analysis of a product I don’t have full access too, I would definitely hesitate to answer your question ‘no’.Can you play it well? Comfortably? Acceptably even? Probably not. But given the limited information we’re given, it’s still only at strongest ‘probably’ not. If you have 4G ram but an unmentioned 12 more on the GPU and an unmentioned Optane card, well, PUBG might perform well. An unreasonably unbalanced system, in other words - but keep in mind all we know is 4G RAM at this point! Can you play it though? The maker may prevent systems that don’t meet reqs from launching the game for political reasons that seem reasonable - they don’t want ignorant negative reviews/Tweets from people who didn’t realize they couldn’t run the game and bought it anyway, then run it on their potatoes and don’t have fun. This kind of move is almost exclusive to the new school of gaming customer relations that focuses on an assumed customer base that’s both large and full of asshats not used to making their own choices: competitive multiplayer fans. If they don’t police you before launch, it’s entirely possible but not likely that your system will be technically sufficient to get you into a match. The sysreqs are just a list of what you need to be considered ‘supported’ by the maker. As an example, Star Wars Galaxies was a multiplayer (to understate a little) game that required a 3D card and made no mention of mobile cards at all in the system requirements. Sure enough, tryna launch that boy on my soundcardless (sysreqs say soundcard) mobile-version gfx card (sysreqs don’t include these) resulted in failure. I was a student with more time than money at that point, though, so I found third-party drivers for my very mainstream (Nvidia) card that would allow me to run the game. Enjoyably. On a doubly-impossible system according to the sysreqs. My advice? Try it via a seller that allows returns based on hours played. If you can’t run the thing, you can always return it. I don’t think you’ll find playing with 4G RAM worthwhile though, even if it ends up being possible! Good luck.
