Can I receive payment through PayPal in a personal account?

That is the entire purpose of that platform.HOWEVER, if you have a personal PP account and you start receiving large and/or frequent payments indicating business transactions (and/or for any other reason they decide is proper) they WILL, without prior notice, freeze your PP account, back charge your bank account and/or otherwise tie up and/or effectively steal your money for their own profit.My advice is to search out and put a crypto wallet system into place. IF you’re selling something worth $300+; I’d suggest BTC, lower than that ETH. Either way, YOU are in control of your own money; not someone else who can turn around and steal from you when THEY decide your money belongs to them. How long does it take for a PayPal credit payment to go through?
I always pay through my paypal balance, and have noticed the last few months payments take a long time, usually several days to post. This is a new situation, and I think it’s HORRIBLE. This is the age of the internet. There’s no logical reason a payment should take this long to go when the money is right there, available, and doesn’t have to go through several other channels (multiple banks).I think it’s a scam so they can charge more interest, and late payment fees.I’m going to be seeking out other PayPal users experiencing the same problems, and possibly start a class action against them.

As long as you send it through paypal.com. If he sends you a link to a website saying "send me an invoice HERE", then it's definitely a scam. I sent invoices for sales I made on forums all the time with no problems. Buyers can be worse scammers than sellers. They have some tricks up their sleeves that people don't really think of. The biggest one is receiving the item and saying that they didn't get it and ask for a refund or another package to be sent out. MAKE SURE YOU SHIP IT WITH TRACKING AND PUT THE TRACKING NUMBER ON PAYPAL. It's the only way you can protect yourself as a seller.
How do i sell on ebay with paypal invoice?
So im selling a phone and this person asks me to send an invoice, i have sold on amazon where the money just goes into the account and amazon takes its cut, how does ebay paypal invoice work? I went on paypal and sent an invoice to the person, but this is done outside of ebay, so will i still have to pay ebay fees as payment was outside ebay? i am confused about how this works. Also is it safe or should i just ask that the seller pay within ebay. Thanks for response

You should never click on links that paypal (or any website sends you- unless you are %100 sure that it's the original website). Always, go to paypal.com and log in and check from there. Do not click any links just to be safe :) Since payment is awaiting you need to wait until payment clears. If the payment is more than $200 it will usually take up to to a few weeks ( more often a few days) or until the buyer leaves positive feed back can you claim your money. For the first time ebayer I have to say you are smart. Good thing you waited to ship the item :) How much did you sell? Tip: this tip will save you lots of trouble. Always!! But always buy tracking number when shipping an expensive item to a buyer. That way you can verify that indeed they received the item. Some people are mean and claim that they did not receive they purchase. PayPal Payment does Description matter in PayPal Bill?
Hello So a seller send me a payment bill after emailing back and forth after receiving pictures of what I wanted to buy from him he send me a payment for PayPal after agreeing on a price. looking at the bill the description does not have anything really just the name of the character not what I'm actually buying . does that matter . also quantity says 1 but it should be 3 does that matter ?. reason why I'm asking is I don't want to get scammed and Paypal cant do anything because the invoice payment bill does not say much
