I Have Sound Coming From My Computer When I Play Pinball And Windows Media Player But Not When On

What is the hardest game you ever played?

XCOM: Enemy Unknown. This game is also in my Games I’ve Deleted Angrily Before Finishing list. I really thought I could have fun in this game, but alas. It was not to be.XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a turn based game. Think of it like a sci-fi version of chess or checkers—except each piece has to move before your turn ends. You control a group of elite multinational paramilitary soldiers and try to stop alien activity on Earth. I say try because as much as this game has both a clear tutorial and an Easy mode, things are going to go south very quickly. Why is this game hard? The aliens. You see, you are fighting extraterrestrial life. In the early stages of the game, you fight these losers:They have small laser guns and…nothing else really. OK, some of them can hide behind bushes while mind-controlling their friends, but that’s it. They are no match for your 4–6 man team, armed with assault rifles and shotguns. At some point you come across these weird guys:They are known as Thin Men, and they are one of the most annoying things in the game. A single Thin Man was enough to take down one of my team members (This was partly my fault. I failed to carry a Medkit and it cost me. Still…)Thin men are incredibly accurate with their alien ray guns. A series of shots is enough to kill. But with the right cover and position you can still take them out and survive……for a few minutes because from here onwards you will see hell. The enemies just get harder. Entire squads will be lost. Blood, sweat and tears will flow. No matter how good your aiming is, no matter how much you upgrade your weapons, no matter how many UFO’s you shoot down, the aliens will win.It is very demoralizing to custom name your soldiers, promote them, build a connection with them only to have them wiped out because your sniper on overwatch was not hidden properly and was killed, meanwhile your Heavy decided that was the perfect time to miss a 100% accuracy shot. Your Support was the first to die, so none of your teammates can be healed. And by the way, your Assault guy can’t move anymore because he saw an alien in front of him and got mild PTSD.Even if you decide to retreat for your own good, the shame of bailing out will haunt you forever. Forever is a long time.XCOM, is the hardest game I’ve played. There are other games that deserve an Honourable Mention e.g Faster Than Light (FTL), This War Of Mine, and that MOTHERF*CKING LEVEL IN GTA VICE CITYʕ•ﻌ•ʔ

If you had 5000 dollars to build your ultimate gaming room what would you have in your room?

A $4000.00 gaming computer with all the peripherals and a $1000.00 or more on a gaming chair likely from Herman Miller. Maybe a banquet table or a giant wooden spool to put the computer on. Room has no windows and Christmas lights for illumination. Probably need another couple thousand to get VR.Get good monitor at 32–35″ like LG curve monitor which is nearly 4K but not quite. It’s good enough because I can’t tell the difference.Probably a Ryzen CPU in the 8–12 core class. Overclocking isn’t necessary but will water cool it and the GTX 2080 TI.32GB of RAM seems fine for now and probably mid tier speed since it isn’t clear how much the frequency might even matter depending on whether I can find the right mobo to allow full spectrum.Nothing fancy on the case but need some room to maneuver so full tower for me. Need drive space and room for fans.500GB M.2 for OS and base programs.2TB SSD for Steam, GoG, Origin, EA, and other games, plus mod-related programs only, which I already have.6–8TB HDD for archival storage of old docs and media, which I already have.Already have new keyboard and mouse. If over budget, I can limp along with my 32″ monitor a while longer, but the LG was 200 off last I checked so… why not give it a whirl at almost half its original price. The main hardware accounts for the bulk of price, so if I go over, I will get a test bench rig to store it temporarily until tax return comes in:)

How do gamers come up with their gamertags?

My gamertag is OtakuGam3rLegend for practically every game I play.It took me a while to come up with it cause I didn't want it to be your typical last name and a bunch of randum numbers gamertag. I was originally thinking of my gamertag to be OtakuGamerBoy but it was….. guess what…… taken :p. So I sat down (hypothetically speaking cause I was already sitting down xD) and had a good talk with my self. It went a little like this:Mind: “Alright boi we need something ORIGINAL, something that the world has NEVER seen before”me: “Ok, umm….. oh gawd why do I run out of ideas just when I need them!”Mind: “Your pathetic”Me: “Yes…. I know…..”Mind: “K since i’m your mind i’ll do all the thinking. We want dis gamertag to reflect yourself and who you are. So your an otaku, a gamer, and pathetic.Me:”Hmm… yes true true”Mind:”So the first part of your gamertag will be ‘OtakuGamer’ and we’ll change the ‘e’ in gamer to a 3 cuz it looks mlg, AND since we finally got the game we were wanting to play for so long i’m in a good mood so i’ll leave out the ‘pathetic’ in your username”Me:” K, so we have ‘OtakuGam3r’ *few minutes of silence* and can we add ‘Legend’ at the end of my gamertag so it sounds cool?”Mind:”Hmm.. seems legit”And that tis the story my friends of how I came up with my gamertag. I would then later find out that there was literally no one in the world with that gamertag or username up until that day :3
