I have this purple, painful bump where my pubic hair is?
So ladies I'm kinda embarrassed about it, but I have this dime sized bump on my bikini area/pubic hair area and the head is purple. I woke up this morning there was puss and blood coming out of it, its very painful and it feels like there's a liquid in it almost, I just noticed it Tuesday and it hasn't grown in size and its about a little bigger than a dime. What is it, I'm thinking of going to the doctors but a little embarrassed, also should I wash It with rubbing alcohol, I'm still a virgin and never had this before.
Painful bump in pubic area?
So I've been looking for forever online and still can't find much. similar people have had this, but there were no answers.. hope to find help here. I have this purple/blackish bump under the skin about the size of a nickel. it is hard and BURNS when you touch it. it's in the upper right area of the hairy part of the pubic area. It does NOT have a "head" on it, just a purplish spot dead center. I brushed up against it the other night in the kitchen and it hurt like heck so I went to check it out. I thought I'd let it go to see if a head came over the next couple days. it's been three days and no changes. just still painful. I've had zits and ingrown hairs there before (sorry if it's TMI) but this is different. other sites suggested a Barthelon cyst, but those are closer to the anus or vaginal region, this is too far away from any opening. It's not where it rubs against anything... I am all out of answers. Any help??? If it doesn't go away soon I'm going to a dr... but thought I'd try online first... Thanks in advance!

Uhm, okay. I'm a girl, and I've had this bump for a few days now and I squeezed it and lots of blood came out of it. I smelled it and it kind of smells like menstrual blood. I don't shave, and I'm still a virgin so it can't be STD's. Please help me!!

Please help I have no idea what this is or how to get rid of it and I don't want to show anyone! It is a little sore when clothes rub on it and if I put pressure on it but otherwise it doesn't really hurt. Also I'm not sexually active so it couldn't be an std and also I do shave my pubic hair so idk please help I'm only 13 an I'm so worried!

That other guy is being a jerk! I know exactly what you have. It is an ingrown hair. I get them all of the time because I shave & wax. This might sound gross but here's what I do: Get a pair of tweezers (disinfect with rubbing alcohol) and scrape the top and pluck out the hair. The bump will probably have pus & blood in it and you will need to squeeze it & wipe it away to get to the hair. I then wipe the sore with rubbing alcohol also. Yeah it will sting a little. I know it sounds gross but I went to a doctor and this is what she did to remove mine. She did tell me that I am susceptible to ingrown hairs and I should not shave. But I still do & simply remove them when they appear. They can be very painful especially where your clothes rub. My husband gets them on his neck from his beard hair. Take care & good luck.

Soft purple indentation on skin above pubic area, hurts only when touched?
About a year ago I noticed this flat purple mark above my pubic area almost on my waist line. I figured it was a scar from a popped cyst since I frequently have those. Recently I noticed that it hurts when it is touched and it is soft and now indented kind of. I asked my obgyn and she said to go to my dermatologist but I won't be able to be seen there for 3 weeks! What could this be?
Purple blood filled lump-urgent?
I've had three of these so far- a purple-red blood filled lump that is very soft. I usually prick it with a pin or pop it, then the place where I pricked it, or where the blood leaves, it (obviously) scabs over and goes away in a few weeks after I drain it. Now, I'm starting to get worried. Please answer ASAP. I'm only 15.
