This often has to be done by presenting a paper in class and also in written form. Normally, participants must not be beginners. The idea behind seminars is to confront students with the methodology of their chosen subject and also to familiarise them with practical problems that might crop up during their research work. Often a seminar will be open to discussion, where questions can be raised and debates conducted. Another form of academic teaching is lecturing, a form which involves larger student groups with less active participation. In some European universities a seminar can be a large lecture course, especially when conducted by a renowned thinker, regardless of the size of the audience or its participation in discussion.

Are you speaking at the seminar or are you the designated organizer?Either way you need to obtain a commitment that you/ the speaker(s) will show up. You als need to make sure all the audio / video equipment is in working order, as well as a laser pointer and slide changer if PowerPoint (or a similar program).You need to promote the seminar via social media, flyers in heavy traffic areas, and maybe on public transportation.You can’t force people to attend but food ( Krispy Creme donuts for example) and beverages (water, soda, coffee) helps get people to show up.

What is a good title for a photography seminar? HELP!?
My organization in school is going to conduct a photography seminar. The speaker is going to talk about terminology, mechanics, and techniques of photo taking. There might also be a brief presentation about the wonderful world of photography and a slide show showing photo subjects. But we cannot think of a good enough title for this seminar...we are hoping for just a CASUAL and CATCHY title and SLOGAN

Is there Free Anger Management Seminars in or around Columbus, GA.?
I have yet decided to go to anger management classes. But am really thinking about opening my schedule to the idea of it. I am 24 years old. I live close to Columbus, GA. I have frequent outbursts and mood swings. I don't hit anyone, but am afraid if I don't seek some kind of help, That I will eventually one day, and I would like to prevent that from happening. I am honestly a great person deep down inside and show it at work and at home, but other people like drivers and employee's at company's really get on my nerves. I also work on electronics and computers that frequently get me upset and the rage inside usually takes over. I remember not to long ago, I had a computer for sale on Craigslist when the people called about it, they said they were on their way to come see it. I had yet to put the cover back on the computer and it was a hard one to figure out or put back on. I ended up getting really angry and throwing it out my two story window.
