Should I transfer to a different college?

That depends (which, by the way, is the usual beginning of a correct answer for any course numbered 350 or above) -- why are you going to college? Is it merely to get *some* degree, is it to get a prestigious degree, is it to learn as much as you can, or is it to have a social life to bridge the days between high school and full adulthood? This is going to be mostly questions -- I don't know your situation well enough to just hand you an answer, but I might have a leading question that looks useful to you.

Also, do you have any insights as to why you have trouble making friends? What would be different, such that things would be better at the new school? Is your boyfriend part of the problem somehow? Is he part of a solution?

Imagine what your practical ideal would be: given 24 hours in the day, what would your schedule be like? Note that you have to study to learn; you have to work at relationships to have close friends.
First, what stops you from having that where you are? Is there anything you could change that would help your situation? Could you get others to help? How could you find out?
Next, how would things be different at the new place? How do you know? How could you get more information?

Those are the first steps. Does any of this look like it might help? Feel free to message me if I can help more.

Does one bad grade from another college have to be transfered to my current college?

The only things that will "Transfer" will be the classes that will get you credit at the new institution, which you usually need a C or better. For example, a friend of mine transferred from Pitt to CMU, not all of his classes transferred (some from bad grades and some because CMU just didn't transfer them). On his transcript it simply said "X credits-University of Pittsburgh). They don't figure into your new school's GPA at all. Once you go to a new place, you start from scratch.

Bottom line, your GPA at LAVC will not show up or affect your GPA at SMC. You need to have your transcripts sent because you DID go to school somewhere else and they do ask that, but the GPA won't figure in to your new school.

Good luck!

How Do I Tell Which Of My College Credits Will Transfer To DIfferent Schools?

that's easy incorrect. A single HNC is nicely worth a twelve months of HE on its very own, so approximately 30 credit. seems to me that to procure no better than a single a point or Scottish greater's nicely worth of credit for an HNC. Which credit assessment service did you utilize? that's nicely worth notably better than 8 credit. Your 4 HNC/HND awards nicely surpass a US friends degree. i could pass so a approaches as to declare that a solid HND in a technical subject is approximately comparable to 3 years of HE interior the U. S.. do no longer settle for this, in spite of you do. that may not precise. I advise you attempt WES.

I want to transfer to another college, how hard is it?

It all depends on the college you're trying to transfer to. Some schools, like the Ivies and prestigious LACs have nearly no room for transfers because their retention rates are so high and their class sizes are so small. Most state schools have a higher turnover rate and take more transfer applicants. I don't really know about Davidson, but a quick call to their admissions office could get you that info pretty quick.
Also, don't count yourself out on Davidson. I was convinced I wasn't going to get into some of the universities that I applied to, and I also ended up getting rejected by one of my safeties. The college admissions process is really, really weird and you really can't make any sort of accurate predictions as to whether you'll get in.
