I Have Toothpaste In My Iphone Headphone Jack How Do I Get It Out

I have toothpaste in my iPhone headphone jack how do I get it out?

My phone works fine and it works with headphones and on the ihome but it thinks that I have headphones in all the time so the speakers won't play. I got toothpaste in it by it fallin into a glob of it in the sink I don't know how to get it out please help!!!

Will the next iPhone have a headphone jack? I'd hate to be forced to keep my iPhone 6S forever.

People are so naive to believe Apple removed the headphone jack soely because it would affect the devices waterproofing abilities or that it takes up too much space. Samsung devices have better water resistance rating WITH a headphone jack compared to Apple’s jackless device. (IP-68 instead of IP-67). Apple decided it was more important to include a extermely space hungry “taptic engine,” which no one asked for, instead of the headphone jack. The taptic engine is nice on devices like the iphone 7–8 where it “simulates” a button press but on the iphone x, it’s literally useless. The real reason Apple removed the headphone jack?Pretty obvious to most, it’s due to profits. You ever buy a ripoff Apple lightning charger from ebay just to have your phone say:Apple has a licensing chip builted into the cable to allow the Apple device to tell if the cable was ceritifed or not. If the cable is not certified, then Apple didn’t get paid royalties for that cable. Apple will then limit the functionality of that cable to get you to go buy a cable that they made profits from. The 3.5mm headphone jack is a royality free i/o.Apple decided that, in order to make more money, they will remove that headphone jack so that all headphone manufacturers and accessory manufacturers, must use their proprietary lightning connection.Since all wired connections much go through the lightning connector, and Apple gets paid by everyone that wants to use it, they are now making money from accessories that they previously didn't make anything from. Why didn’t Apple put usb-c in the their iPhones and iPads?Ahh why would they do that? The lightning connector is still using usb 2.0 tech in their phones. Apple stated that the headphone jack was old tech. Yet they are still using old tech in their phone but yet forced everyone on their Mac platform to adopt usb-c. They won’t ever switch to usb-c on their mobile line up because their out of date lightning connector makes them too much money. And why would a bussiness like Apple do something like that to reduce their profits?-written on an iphone that has no headphone jack

How can I get the dirt and dust out of the speaker holes of my iPhone 6?

Even if you are the most careful iPhone user, conducting routine maintenance on your precious phone, you are bound to come across problems of dust and pocket lint accumulating in your iPhone's speakers. So, how do I clean the speakers on my iPhone without wrecking my phone? There is an easy answer.Dust, Lint & General Garbage. No matter what case you use, or if you keep your phone in a pocket or a purse, there will inevitably be a build up of dust, lint and general debris that clogs up your iPhone's speakers over time. Not only can this look unsightly, in the long term it can cause serious deterioration to the sound quality -- if the sound is low or muffled on your iPhone this could well be the reason.Like all Apple products, the iPhone looks brilliant but isn't without its design flaws. It's also the most expensive smartphone out there, so you certainly don't want to damage it in the process of routine iPhone maintenance.Cleaning The SpeakersYour best bet in cleaning your iPhone speakers is to use a soft-bristled toothbrush -- nothing fancy and nothing too harsh that might cause more damage than it cures.* Make sure the brush itself is clean and dry -- we don't want any moredebris getting in there.* Then use a gentle brushing action, trying to direct your brush away from the speaker. This sounds tricky cause there's not much room forthe maneuver, but it's just to make sure you aren't pushing anydebris further into the speaker and the internals of the phone thatcould cause further problems.* You might also want to use a small vacuum attachment. If you have one of those small ones meant for cleaning computer keyboards this is ideal, as it will lift the general yuck out of there. You may still need to use the brush a little for dislodging any debris.* If the build-up is minimal you might want to first try and lift off general lint and dust with a quick stick and lift with a piece of scotch tape.General iPhone Cleaning TipsOf course, the speakers aren't the only area of your iPhone that can get dirty in a short space of time. The same issues can also affect your mics, headphone jack, and the rather exposed dock connector. The same procedure is a good plan for each of these -- being extra careful to direct your brush away from the dock connector.

How to get jean dye off of phone case?

I have this Case Mate phone case for my Galaxy S4 ( http://s.tmocache.com/images/png/products/accessories/SUPM39761/SUPM39761-large.png )
And the lighter-pink rubber-like parts have turned almost purple because I put it in my blue jean pocket a couple times. Now, I've learned my lesson ( lol ) and I want to somehow clean it off but I don't know how !

I tried using a Mr Clean Magic Eraser ( I couldn't find the original ones so I got the bath erasers ), I tried using laundry detergent, hot soap and water, toothpaste, rubbing alcohol, I even tried "erasing" the rubber-like parts with a pencil eraser. All of this didn't do much - it lightened a tad, but it still looks old and dirty from the remaining dye.

What else could I do to definitely get the dye off my case and get the rubber parts looking bright and new again ??

Thanks so much in advance

How to get glitter off a phone case?

Glue Gone is sold in some stores like Ace Hardware, KMart, Walmart. It's about 6 ounce bottles and is orange colored. It has a greasy feel. Rub it on, rub it off, it dissolves most sticky things. It's great for taking off stickers. If not effective, try nail polish remover, which may damage the plastic. You might try using an old toothbrush and toothpaste picking and scrubbing the glitter and rhinestones. Or you could go to AC Moore or a craft store, buy a hot glue gun and beads, and cover your case with more bling.

How can I clean my iPhone data cable?

I have used just a simple mixture of soap and water on a damp rag or paper towel to clean the cables . Are you talking about the outside of the cables or in the connections ports ? Compressed air works great for that as you don't want to expose those areas to moisture , corrosion can happen .
