I Hit My Head On A Tree Branch While Running Is Visiting A Doctor A Must Or Should I Just Leave It

Do bats attack humans? I go out running and there are a few bats flying near trees. Is it risky, as they sometimes fly just in front of my head?

as wild animals go, bats are actually incredibly docile. they have no reason to attack you. and are even unlikely to nip while you scoop them out of their beds, hold out their wings to examine them (younger bats do not have such solid bones as fully grown, so by extending a wing and holding it to the light, you can tell if a bat is an adult or juvenile) etc. they are extremely tolerant, and very laid back about being handled by a very large (to them) animal. I’ve handled many bats during population surveys, and never been bitten. the old chap that was in charge was very old school, and unless it was the larger two breeds (still easily fit in the palm of your hand) he would tell you to take your gloves off or you won’t even feel them. and this is largely true. they are so small and light, if you put your hand into a bat box, taking one out to identify the species IS tricky with even light gloves on. and most bat species can’t bite through those gloves to the skin, a few would barely leave a scratch on your hand if they tried. this is NOT recommended practice. recommended practice is to always wear thick gloves if you are handling a bat, and for most people I’d advise it. but he felt that gloves made you less able to handle the smaller species competently. if a roost was in a site not likely to be used by one of the two larger (still small) species, then your hand was going in bare. I’ve never been bitten by a bat.now vampire bats, tiny little things, MAY feed on a human. you can’t really consider this an attack. there are health risks from the saliva, but the way they feed is not an attack. they have numbing and thinning agents in their saliva, and just cut a tiny scratch in the skin. they can double their weight in consumed blood (hence the name desmodus rotundus, as it makes them appear quite bloated) but to host animals, the amount is still tiny and insignificant, and barely even felt. mostly they feed from livestock. occasionally sleeping humans, who do not wake.interestingly, vampire bats have a highly mutually benefical social structure. bats that are unsuccessful, return to the roost and request that their roost mates regurgitate to feed them. the bats will do so. if they do not do so, if they return unfed, other bats, not just the one they refused, will refuse them. so they take care of their communitiesso even the so called “scariest” type of bat is really quite adorable.

What is the best thing to do when a grenade is thrown at you?

You need to take cover. Quickly look around you for a large, solid structure to hide behind, such as a tree, rock or wall, or a ditch or trench to jump into. If there is not enough time to get to one of these, then throw yourself to the ground and lie face down as flat as possible. The grenade fragments will be projected upwards and outwards, so lying flat with your face and chest shielded should protect you from most critical hits (unless the grenade lands on or beside you). As Kegon Teng Kok Tan points out, you should lie with your feet directed at the grenade (head pointing away), although that tends to be the natural orientation if you are running away from it.If possible, take note where the grenade lands, and act accordingly i.e. move as far away from it as possible, rather than just blindly panic, when you might be running right into the grenade without realizing it. You might even be able to throw it back, but only attempt this if you have a good guess for when the grenade pin was pulled (takes roughly 5 seconds to blow up), or if it lands extremely close to you (you're dead either way). Personally I wouldn't try this unless I saw the pin pulled and were feeling extremely ballsy.Grenades are most effective in enclosed spaces, where it is difficult to find cover or get out quickly. Otherwise they are intended mostly as a technique to scatter troops and induce disarray, rather than a direct intent to kill - soldiers running around panicking are relatively easy to pick off with a rifle.

Ramdan: Boxing is it haraam?

Assalam wa alaikum borthers and sisters. Im a 22 year old brother been boxing for a while now. I dont know at first i thought of it as a sport and a way to release my anger because weight lifting wasnt helping. It actually makes your testosterone leves higher. Im not an angry person but when I do get angry Im really angry. So i took up boxing and me being a big guy from working out for years and running am fast and strong. I dont know but lately I have felt what I am doing is wrong in the ring after i knocked a few competitors out last week and the adrenaline went away I kept picturing how the persons head snapped from my hit and coudlnt help but hinking I am hurting someone. Pus I ve gotten into a lot of street fights mostly because of my freinds or younger brother have a big mouth I try to stop the fight but always ends up escalating and now the sills ive learned from boxing most people arent a match for me and i fell like im abusing what i learned after i hit a late 30 or 40 something a few weeks ago in front of his wife I felt miserable. The guy deserved it he pushed my freind and instead of apoogizing he got agressive. I just remember the terror on his wifes face and it scares me maybe im becoming an animal now. Im against fighting but sometimes its unavoidable. I mean according to Isalm is boxing wrong I am maliciously hurting someone and knowing that someone is hurting me. Any ideas
