I Hit My Head Yesterday And I Did Not Feel Any Pain Today

What does it feel like to get shot in the head?

Initially, their is this very loud buzzing, almost a sort of "ringing" type sound as to when it happens. Surprisingly it is very loud, like two bees inside of your ears, but sounds more like how your ears would normally ring, just uncomfortably loud. The initial "ping" as I call it, can be heard before the ringing commences, like someone hitting metal on metal, but it's high-pitched. After that, very loud and scary ringing commences, but no pain is registered at that moment. You feel very very tight pressure where you were shot, and you can feel warm blood seeping out, regardless of what people tell you. Your vision is blurred too, instantly, so as soon as you get shot imagine your vision like a light switch, going from perfectly normal to blurry. You also see these very dark red/black "lines" that are in your eyeball, like blood vessels that are actually there on your pupil. Every step you take you fumble around, like a drunk. You usually either don't know what has happened, or you're too scared to reach your hand around your head and see your fingers stained with blood. Usually after you black out, you're either in a hospital, or you don't wake up. If you don't pass out the pain will set in once the first "round" of adrenaline subsides. The pain is unbearable, like someone cut a hole into your skin, drilled a hole through your skull and is burning your scalp and brain. It can't be described, that's how awful it is. It is so unbearably painful, you think about every second that goes by, days feel like years until the pain completely diminishes. It is also very traumatic, thankfully the bullet didn't hit my brain or anything, it entered but thankfully I'm not screwed up or nothing. Perfectly okay :). Oh and with each heartbeat, it throbs like no other, and stings with each one. If you're considering testing this on yourself, do not, it sucks. Period. :) hope this helped!

Head feels hot where it got hit?

I was putting on a different shirt when I hit my head a little with my hand.
It didn't hurt that much, but then in that spot it started to feel really hot for a few minutes.
It went away now but why did that happen?
Is it like internal bleeding or something?

I have severe anxiety and I'm really scared.

I hit my head yesterday, now i feel dizzy?

Then, i woke up this morning just feeling kind of weak, dizzy, and lightheaded. And pretty tired. So why am i feeling this way?? What happened? What should i do?? Thanks so much!

I Hit My Head Hard, But Theres No Bump?

So a loose door fell on the center on my forehead And it hurted a bit for about 10 minutes then I didn't feel anything but some off and on pain literally in my brain on different areas. I didnt get a concussion, no throwing up. But I was a bit dizzy and that's it. I still feel pain in my brain area. Also, a lot of pressure and clogged feeling. The door slammed pretty hard I don't know why theres no lump? Its scaring me now because I hope there's no internal bleeding. I'm thinking about heading to the doctors tonight ! :( in 19 btw

I hit my head hard...internal bleeding?

Probably a concussion. But here are the symptoms:
Internal bleeding in the head may accompany other symptoms including:

Change in mental status
Confusion
Garbled or slurred speech or inability to speak
Headache
Loss of vision or changes in vision
Numbness or tingling
Paralysis
Weakness (loss of strength)

Concussions can cause the same symptoms too. You should go see a doctor if you still have a horrible headache and blurry vision.

I hit the back of my head really hard and didn't feel it?

I was trying to do a back bend by using my bed, and my arms locked on the metal bed frame and then just gave. I hit the back of my head really hard off of the metal edge, but I didn't feel anything, literally. No pain at the impact, or after. Then I went to sleep (this was last night) and woke up just fine. Am I okay or is this like some kind of head trauma?

Hit my head and now I feel nauseas and have a small headache.?

Go to the ER - they will make sure that you don't have bleeding on the brain that can lead to death. Your symptoms are of a concussion. However... I had the same symptoms had the tests and they sent me home without the diagnosis of a concussion. Unfortunately they did not warn me about swelling on the brain that could still occur. Two days later I was back in the ER having more tests run. Although they also came out normal, this time I was diagnosed with a concussion. I found out later that due to swelling on my brain, my brain cells had been dying during the 2 days that I felt just fine.

Take an anti-inflammatory for a few days (if they don't prescribe you one at the hospital or doc's office for the bump on your head.) Ibuprofen at 600-800 mg will work for this. If you haven't been okayed before at this dosage based on your height/weight/age call the drs office for an ok on the amount for you. Ice and arnica are good for the external bump and bruise, but they won't reduce the swelling on the inside of the skull where your brain is.

I had to relearn how to get dressed, take care of hygiene etc. You don't want to go there. I still deal with symptoms 5 years later.

The good thing is that guys get better faster than women and that most people are symptom free by 6 months. Of that 6 month group most are better in month 1. And of that month 1 group, most are better in week 1.

So good luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I hit my head on the windshield, and now I'm having stomach, arm, and hip pains. Related?

Yesterday, I unbuckled to get the GPS out of the back seat, but when I was getting back into the front seat, my mom slammed on the breaks and I flew into the windshield. The windshield cracked.

I didn't feel like I was in pain after it happened originally, probably from adrenaline and shock. But today, my arm is in pain (it also hit the windshield) and I am having trouble putting weight/pressure on it. My stomach is also hurting a lot, and I'm nauseous. My hips have also been messed up, probably because my spine got a bad jolt when I hit the windshield.

My questions are: are all of these things related? Should I go to the doc?
