I How Do I Set Up My Iphone If I Previously Had An Android.

Can I remove the sim card from my iPhone and put it into an Android phone?

That depends on the carrier & the size of the SIM card.

Iphones uses a mini SIM card & MOST Android phones use the regular size SIM card. But there a few Android phones that use the mini SIM card, like the LG L9.

If you want to use the Iphones mini SIM card on an Android phone that has a regular SIM card slot, you're going to have to find a SIM card template that has been previously cut & put it together to fit it in the slot.

When I mean by template that has been previously cut, I mean in certain cellphone stores they cut the regular size SIM card to fit in phones that uses a mini SIM card slot. Go to any store & ask if you can get a template lying around to use.

If you don't want to have to do that, depending on the carrier, see if you can transfer account info to a regular size SIM card. This can be done by your carrier.

There's many things you can choose to do but im only giving you choices, how you wanna proceed its up to you.

Do you prefer android or ios?

I have always preferred Apple phones because the hardware and software (iOS) are developed together as part of the same design and development process by one company -- Apple.

Android phones are made by many different companies and must adapt the Android system from another company (Google) to their phones. This doesn't always work well and it often takes weeks or even months for the phone company to adapt after a new Android update. With Apple, updated versions of iOS are available same day or within a few days of announcement.

I find Apple phones simpler to use than Android phones I've tried. It's also important to me that my iOS phone works in sync with my iPad and iMac computer. Since all of my family and most friends have Apple phones, there are several benefits to also have an Apple phone myself -- AirDrop, Messages, animated emojis, app sharing, app gifting, iCloud sharing, and much more.

Can an SD card move apps from an Android to an iPhone?

I recently switched from an android to an iphone for the first time, and I have pretty much everything on my SD card in my android (apps, pictures, videos, etc). Will anything be lost if I move this card into the iPhone? I know that apps can be different between the two phones so I just don't want to mess anything up.

Will I lose my number if I switch from Android to an iPhone?

For some reason I can't find a straight answer to this question online.
Anyone who has made the switch from Android to an iPhone, did you lose your phone number?
I think this happened to my mother-in-law.

My husband wants to switch our plan and turn in our Androids for iPhones, but I don't want to do that if that means I lose my number. I have had my number for 8 years.

Thanks
