I Just Bought Metroid Prime Trilogy .

What is the Metroid Prime trilogy?

The Metroid Prime Trilogy is a collection of all of the Metroid Prime games. It includes:Metroid Prime (GameCube 2002)Metroid Prime 2 : Echoes (GameCube 2004)Metroid Prime 3 : Corruption (Wii 2007)Since both Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2 were released on the GameCube, they’ve been updated to 16:9 widescreen, and reworked to use the WiiMote for aiming.

Should I get the Metroid Prime Trilogy or just the first and last Metroid Prime for my boyfriend?

My boyfriend currently has Metroid Prime 2, but nothing else (He lost his first Metroid Prime game years ago but says it was the only game he got without first renting it. It was that good of a game he says).

So I'm in a debate between buying the Metrod Prime Trilogy for him vs. getting the first one and the 3rd one. The main difference I see is the controls. You can not use a game cube controller on the Trilogy, according to what I read. Knowing my boyfriend, he says he enjoys playing games the way they were originally intended to be played. So for games like Mario Kart wii he'll use the wii wheel because that's the way it was "meant to be played" vs. using other control options.

So I'm thinking I should get him the first one because that way he can use the gamecube controller. And the last one separately. What do you guys think is best? He doesn't know I'm getting him this so I can't ask him.

Should I get the Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii or get the games individually? What's the difference?

All three games in the Trilogy version have the superior Wii controls, while Metroid Prime 1 and 2 individually do not. The Wii controls are far better for FPS type games that a Gamecube controller and are excellently implemented here. I recommend choosing “advanced” controls.Trilogy also has different difficulty settings - Normal/Hard/Hypermode in place of Normal/Hard (where confusingly, Trilogy-Hard is Original-Normal, Trilogy-Hypermode is Original-Hard, and Trilogy-Normal is the new, easier, difficulty).

Is it possible to adjust ‘Metroid Prime: Trilogy’ so it can be played on a Nintendo Switch, or is it better if they recreate the trilogy from scratch?

Yes, that game could easily be adjusted to be played on the Switch. As Metroid Prime 4 have been announced a remastered Metroid Prime Trilogy might precede it sort of how they are doing the release of Baynetta with Bayonetta 1 & 2 being launced prior to Bayonetta 3 on the Nintendo Switch.

Is their a way to play co-op on the Metroid Prime series or the Trilogy version?

Is their any way that I can play co-op for story mode instead of single player? I'm not talking about the Metroid Prime 2 multiplayer mode, just something that can allow me and my friend to play story mode together. Are their codes, cheats, or any types of game hacks functional with the Wii HomeBrew Channel or anything similar? Thank you to all that answer/help.

Do you need wii motion plus for metroid prime trilogy?

No. You don't need it, and it will not have any effect on Metroid Prime Trilogy. Wii games must be specifically created to use Wii MotionPlus. The website below lists which games support it.

Is the metroid prime trilogy worth getting a wii again?

A few months ago, I started playing the 2D metroids on my phone and I loved them, so I'm interested in playing the prime series and maybe other m. The problem is I don't have a console to play on; my old GameCube is broken to the point which it would cost more to repair than its worth, and I sold my wii a couple years ago for an xbox 360. So my question is, is it worth getting a wii again to play these and any other good games, or should I get a wii u (assuming it has backwards compatibility) or neither?

What do I do after killing Thardus in Metroid Prime 1? (on Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii U)?

So yeah, I just killed Thardus and it lead me to "Transport to Tallon Overworld West" which of course I've been to before, and I dunno where to go or what to do from here. Thanks in advance.
