I Just Burned A Playlist To A Cd Using Itunes. Now My Macbook Won

Why can't I burn a CD using iTunes?

Here are things to note and try:
Make sure you're trying to burn a playlist (a list of songs). You can't burn a disc directly from your library, the Radio, a shared playlist, or your iPod.
If you burn a CD or DVD but the right songs aren't copied, or if nothing happens when you click the Burn Disc button, make sure the correct songs are checked in the playlist.
To create an audio CD, make sure you have an Apple Combo drive drive or SuperDrive. Some third-party CD-RW drives also work. To see if an external drive works with iTunes, choose iTunes > Preferences, click Advanced, and then click Burning. If your drive is listed, it's compatible.
Make sure the correct disc format is selected: Choose iTunes > Preferences, click Advanced, and then click Burning. To create a CD with any type of audio file that iTunes supports (MP3, AAC, AIFF, and so on), choose "Data CD or DVD." If the playlist you're trying to burn includes AAC files, make sure MP3 CD is not selected.
If your playlist includes iTunes Store purchases, you may have exceeded the number of times (seven) you can burn this playlist.
If CD burning stops at a particular song, the playlist might include iTunes Store purchases that haven't been authorized to play on this computer. To authorize this computer, double-click the purchased song (where CD burning stopped) and enter the information for the account that purchased the song. You can authorize up to five computers at a time.
If your computer or display goes to sleep while you're burning a CD, try increasing the sleep timing settings in the Energy Saver pane of System Preferences.
If a burned CD stutters when you play it in an external CD-RW drive, try an internal drive or a stereo system.
If your CD burn is unsuccessful and your external drive becomes unresponsive, turn the drive off and on to reset it.
If you can't eject a blank CD, click the Eject Disc (in the bottom-right corner of the iTunes window).
Movies purchased from the iTunes Store can't be burned to a DVD or VCD that will play in a DVD player or Video CD.

Itunes Playlist to zip file?

Make a folder on your desktop with the playlist name. Go into the playlist you have and click one of the songs. Go to the edit menu (at the top of the iTunes window) and click select all or hit ctrl and A at the same time (command/Apple and A on a mac).
Mac: Drag the bottom right corner of iTunes over until you can see the folder that you made on your desktop.
Windows: Unmaximize your iTunes window by clicking the double square button (the middle one) in the top right corner, if necessary (if it's just one square, there's no need to) and then drag the right corner over so it takes up about half of your screen, then drag the iTunes window over to the right so you can see your playlist folder.
Both: Drag all the songs from the playlist (if you haven't already, select them all by repeating the 3rd step) into the folder
Mac: right click (control click if you can't right click) on the folder and select compress
Windows: right click on your desktop, go to New and click compressed (zipped) folder. Go into the folder with all of your songs and select them all. Copy them (ctrl key and c key at the same time) and then go into your compressed folder and hit ctrl-v (paste).

Itunes Cd Burning Help?

Hi there

This indicates a problem between iTunes and your model of CD drive. Sometimes this problem appears when you update iTunes, or are not using the newest version.

First, check for an iTunes update by clicking Tools menu, then Check for Update. If you need one, follow the instructions to update. If that doesn't help, follow these instructions, from the HP website. They are for a particular kind of CD burner but have helped with other models too. Take care to follow them precisely.

1. Close iTunes and any other files and software that are open.
2. Click Start , My Computer , Drive C: , Program Files , iTunes , and CD Configuration to view the files in the CD Configuration folder.
3. Locate the file gcdrtype.cfg in the CD Configuration folder.
4. Right-click the file gcdrtype.cfg .
5. In the drop-down menu, click Open (you may need to select Notepad ) to edit the file gcdrtype.cfg in Notepad .
6. In the Notepad window, scroll to the bottom lines of the file gcdrtype.cfg .
7. Locate the line that reads:
DRVGENERALFLAGS = MODESEL_NOPAGE01 | MODESEL_NOPAGE05
8. At the end of this line add " | NOSENDOPC " (the first character is a blank space), so the line then reads:
DRVGENERALFLAGS = MODESEL_NOPAGE01 | MODESEL_NOPAGE05 | NOSENDOPC
9. At the top of the Notepad window, click File , Save .
10. At the top of the Notepad window, click File , Exit to close the window.
11. At the top of the CD Configuration window, click File , Close to close the window
12. Restart the computer.

See how you go. Good luck.
