I Just Drank 5 Coffees In A Row And Have A Lot Of Energy This Is Normal

I drank 2 monsters in a row.......?

Energy drink makers tell us not to consume more than 2 energy drinks a day. This refers to two servings of 8 ounces each. Since monsters come in either 2 or 3 serving size cans then having two back to back is over that daily amount.

Having two of those back to back is really too much at a time. At 80mg of caffeine per serving that gives you 320mg all at once which is over the maximum safe daily intake level of 300 mg. So you had more than a days worth at one time.

Mostly it is the sugar but also the caffeine and all of the stimulants combined have you feeling nervous and jittery. You can see that energy drinks are designed to stimulate. However, the reason you are also feeling tired is becaue of the caffeine. It takes more water to process caffeine than is contained in the drink. Caffeine dehydrates us and when we are dhydrated we feel tired. Normally I recommend 1 ounce of water to offset 5mg of caffeine to avoid dehydration no mattter where you get the caffeine from. So right now you'd need 64 ounces of water to offet the dehydrating effects of the caffeine you consumed. But that would be too much to consume all at once.

All I can recommend so far is to start drinking water now. Drink about 16 ounces every 30 minutes for the next 2 hours or until you feel better, whichever comes later.

Is it dangerous to drink 5-6 cups of coffee daily?

Hehe. You will build a tolerance to whatever your body gets used to.The thing is, life itself is dangerous! Do what makes you happy.. However, relying on any stimulant will affect you in the long term. With coffee, what happens is the caffeine stimulates your fight/flight response.. Your adrenal glands. Not only can you become rather physically and mentally addicted to the delicious dark goodness, but according to recent studies, it can lead to adrenal fatigue. This means basically that your body will be unable to produce these chemicals on its own.Coffee, or caffeine, also inhibits your uptake of many important vitamins and minerals, like magnesium. While your body is fantastic at coping with short term imbalances, a balanced diet with the suitable amount of nutrients will help you to lead a longer, happier life, naturally (in most cases). Overdoing it may also limit your ability to get the important rest your body needs, by affecting certain deep sleep stages that your brain needs in order to detoxify, like any other organ. Another thing to consider is that coffee is a diuretic .. It increases your need to pee and means you'll have to drink a lot more water daily in order to stay properly hydrated (recommended is about 2L per day, before coffee). Some studies also seem to imply that the 'high' from caffeine is fleeting, and that some people will find that when the effects wear off, they are more tired than before. This may be why you reach for the next cup ('keep' cup I mean of course, as 'disposable' coffee cups are actually lined with plastic and are terrible for our planet!).I would recommend you research some articles online regarding some of these correlations.. But, to bring it back to my original point, if you NEED any substance just to make it through the day, it's because your body is reliant, and therefore not functioning correctly.

Is it normal that coffee causes nausea and dizziness?

It can if you have drunk too much, particularly on an empty stomach. What you said sounds like a description of a caffeine overdose. If that happens, the answer is to stop drinking coffee and wait for the feelings to pass. But it should not happen with only one cup of coffee: with me, it would take drinking 3-5 cups in a row to get that result. If it happens too often, or with only one cup of coffee, you may be sensitive to caffeine. With moderate coffee intake, you should not have those symptoms otherwise.Thank you for the A2A, Tanvi Velankar. The source: Is It Normal That Coffee Causes Nausea And Dizziness?I know (first hand) how frustrating vertigo and dizziness can be but I think most of the advice we’re given about how to deal with it is crap. At best is temporarily masks the problem. The whole thing can be frustrating as hell and reduced me to tears more than once.If you haven’t seen it already Vertigo Professor has a bunch of videos on Vertigo and this speciifcally is worth a look: How to (Properly) Overcome Vertigo and Dizziness (and Why Masking the Problem is Stupid)

How many cups of coffee a day can a person drink?

Caffeine is a stimulant, and an overdose can be lethal. As for other side effects, caffeine is similar to other stimulants. If you do not regularly consume caffeine, I would avoid taking more than 2 cups in any 4 hour period. The median lethal dose of caffeine is anywhere between 150 and 200 milligrams per kg of body weight in a human. A cup of coffee has around 100 milligrams of caffeine. So, you would need around 2x your bodyweight in kilograms of cups of coffee to kill yourself. There have been no known instances of lethal caffeine overdoses from drinking coffee alone. Probably because drinking that much coffee would be impractical for even the most dedicated person. Now, even at lower doses, there can be severe adverse side effects, and these are probably what you're interested in.Overdosing on caffeine can result in palpitations, twitching, and nervousness as well as increasing your heart rate. But since caffeine is a drug easily adapted to, its hard to determine what dosage would result in significant side effects for a given individual.Caffeine operates by binding to the adenosine receptors without activating them, stopping adenosine from activating them. Adenosine has an inhibitory effect on the central nervous system. Taking caffeine regularly will cause your body to increase the number of adenosine receptors - thus blunting its effect. As for myself? I have some form of innate resistance to stimulants including caffeine. I don't regularly consume it, it does almost nothing for me. I can fall asleep after taking a 200mg pill.
