Yahoo, If I get an email from someone ending with hk, is it from Hong kong like they say it is?
HK does indicate that it comes from Yahoo's Hong Kong mail service. However, anybody in the world could sign up for such an email address, so he could be anywhere. Why would he try to tell you he's in Hong Kong when he's really not?
How true are the stories about Dr. Yeshi Dhonden and Tibetan medical tradition, especially regarding their treatment of ailments like cancer and AIDS?
My dad has been suffering from Stage 4 cancer (Esophagus mainly, but spread to liver and lungs as well). We started off with Chemotherapy and the doctor told us it is absolutely incurable and that we can just control it. After taking 6 chemotherapies, it didn't get any better, so we decided to give Dr. Yeshi a shot. We had heard a lot about him from other people.We took the morning urine sample to him, it was checked and he told us EXACTLY what the disease was (without even seeing the reports). I was super impressed! But we still weren't very convinced to totally rely on his medicines, so we went for another 6 chemotherapy sessions (changed regime this time). We took the Dr. Yeshi medicines on non-chemotherapy days!Even after the changed regime, the doctor was very sure that the tumors won't completely go away but we can only reduce them in size. We kept taking the Dr. Yeshi Medicines and after the 6 chemotherapies (now total 12), we went for PET Scan and we were surprised that all of the tumors were gone!So I'd say that Dr. Yeshi's medicines did wonderful job! I'd update the answer after we have another PET scan after 2 months! Totally on Dr. Yeshi's medicine as of now.P.S The doctor isn't aware of us taking Dr. Yeshi's medicines. The doc said my dad has max 5 months to live, but it's been almost one year so I guess it's working fine for us. We had nothing to lose.UPDATE: We went for another PET Scan today. We were only taking Dr. Yeshi's medicines after the previous PET Scan … which was a little over a month ago! The tumors ARE BACK.So I'd highly recommend you all to take Chemotherapy (or whatever treatment your doctor has recommended) as well.

If she is under 18, it is child pornography. Both teens can be charged with possession and distribution of child porn. That they are dating is totally irrelevant. The laws on child porn are very strict and very severe. Under 18 = child porn. All that matters is that there is a sexual picture of an underage person - the age of the viewer doesn't matter. I wouldn't screw around with this.

Does the Chinese government read and edit or censor emails?
Certainly all emails are scanned for "trigger" words. You don't have somebody sat reading every email, it is done automatically, and any containing certain words will be then checked. They are not edited and to my knowledge I have never had pictures or videos (in or out) intercepted, although I wouldn't say it wasn't possible! Should certain trigger words repeatedly appear from a user then I am sure they would then pay close attention to that individuals other emails too, until there were sure that they were not a threat to national well-being. Whether your email was flagged or not, its hardly a threat to their security, and they will have (IF they viewed it) discounted it immediately. People can say WHAT they want as long as it is not critical of the Chinese governement, their policies or situations detrimental to the reputation of China. As one poster has already said, its nothing that all the other countries aren't also doing, but are you worried about disagreeing with your leaders in an email? Probably not, and this is exactly the same! I wouldn't give it another moments concern!
