Setting up yahoo messenger on new windows xp?
There is definitely a problem that people have been having when trying to download messenger. It just freezes at 99% or 100% The solution has been to use the direct download, NOT the run. When you click on the link to download it will ask if you want to run, or save to my computer. Check save to my computer. Remember where you save it too, then when its done go to that file and install if from your computer. If you use the run option, what it does is try to download AND install at the same time, and thats where it messes up.
Has Yahoo Messenger Messed Up your computer?
Never had a problem with it. I've had it on many different computers, operating systems, and so on and never had any bad experieces with it. Perhaps he loaded the wrong version of the software which could have adverse affects on his system.
Is yahoo messenger messing up?
Mine won't let me sign in either! I can sign into MSN but not Yahoo... just kicks me off... it would have been nice if they had warned us if its a scheduled outage.
Blank windows in yahoo messenger?
Help......Blank screen on yahoo messenger? Hi I use yahoo messenger a lot and i have never had this problem before..... when i sign in everything looks fine, my contacts are there and their pictures, but the updates page is blank. Also i can see that i have received offline messages but they are blank and i also cant see who they are from. the same thing happens when i send an IM, i can type it out and it looks fine but when i send it, i cant see it, however the other person can. Then when they reply i cant see their reply either. Its just blank. This seems to have occurred overnight and it is very annoying as one IM i was going to be sent today was extreamly important, i cant read it and it is my only way of contact with this person right now. I have been trying to solve this all day and had to rearrange things to try and get it sorted but it seems i have failed. I have uninstalled internet explorer and using an alternative as i have been told it could be that, i have reinstalled yahoo messenger several times using different versions, i have enabled all scripting options under internet options, restarted the computer several times, tried to run codes 'regsvr32 jscript.dll and regsvr32 vbscript.dll' which were successful. As well as doing as the yahoo site suggests and installing many updates. Its beginning to get frustrating :( All have failed. It is definately my computer which is the problem as i have two IDs and none are working but they work on my mobile phone. That is still no good as i cant read the IMs sent before as i opened them on the computer and they are therefore not on my phone. I would be soooooooo grateful if someone could please help me. I did ring yahoo but they said it could take 24 hours and i am not sure that they will give me any new things to try. I feel like i have tried everything but i am obviously missing something Please can someone help

When you play yahoo towers does your messenger mess up?
Umm....That isn't the cause of your YMSGR problem... See, windumps doesn't allow one application to access the memory stack of another one, in order to preserve system services' integrity and ****...The only way to do that is to call an OpenProcess API Call, and a consequentive WriteProcessmemory Call, and i don't see why would Yahoo Towers even attemt to do that... i's probably a virus, which just randomy messes with processes' memory.

No there is not.Yahoo basically had everyone on the net that wasn’t on AOL. These days, many of the people in chat are mostly people that are older or disabled and must socialize on the net to some extent. In the days of Yahoo, there were people just sitting there that wanted to chat forever, AND there were people who wanted to meet up. You could date, meet musicians, meet people interested in the same thing. It was phenomenal.So, of course, someone had to kill it dead, and create this god awful environment of personals online (which already existed at the time as well). Online personals are filled with fake profiles, bots, people that just use it for ego massage and backup when they are in relationships. It’s just a pile of junk , and mostly its too much work. Even Tinder is a lot of work, at least for guys. For girls, it must be the greatest thing since sliced bread, although I think women are more inclined to chat with a guy, not email back and forth, which is inefficient boring and slow.Chat rooms were actually fun, and you could still get all the apperance info and exchange pictures. Half of Tinder is women pushing their instagram accounts so they can become online models, the big hope for every women who’s even moderately attractive.The internet got MUCH worse in this regard, dumping local chat rooms for the app model.

Yahoo Messenger Sucks.... Have This Happen To You??
I only downloaded Yahoo for the simple reason of communicating with my friends... I advance to going in chatrooms and blasting my favorite music on mic: It was great until the weridos, the creeps, and the freaks, started to IM me. I block them and for some Odd and completly freaky circumstance most of the werid people are not in my Ignore box when i check! Their still IMing me... This creeps me out, is there some glich in Yahoo messenger w\voice system the reason why I cannot block theses people? Also im wondering how safe is Yahoo! Messnger anyway? One of my friend complain about guys IMing her asking her to show her cam... and others threatening her saying their going to mess her computer up and all of her friends computers Is this possible? I feel hackers can get inside peoples computer, using Yahoo messenger. I just havent found out how. So have any of you guys out there experience this: Threats from "hackers", or weridos not showing up in your ignore box?
