I Just Recently Bought An Iphone From Straightalk And Activated It. Now It Reads No Service.

Can this Iphone be activated on StraightTalk?

It's an iphone 5c (model A1532). It does not have a sim card in it. My daughter got it from her friend who fixes and reconditions iphones for a living. The phone has never been activated on any network(apparently original purchaser broke the screen before he activated it) but he says it is compatible with At&T. How can I verify this? And will it work on ST? How can I check?

How do you reactivate an old Straight Talk phone?

You would need to contact customer support to go through the process. You will need the IMEI and SIMS card if applicable for the phone. The representative can walk you through the process and assist you in getting the phone activated. Your number may change depending on the time of deactivation.

If I buy a Straight Talk iPhone 5S from Walmart, can I use it on my Verizon plan?

It depends. If the device is LOCKED to a particular carrier, you are going to need to rectify that with Straight Talk and Apple first.Second, and this is the tough one, Verizon is NOTORIOUSLY difficult when it comes to activating devices that did not come from them or Apple directly. I had this experience when trying to activate an unlocked iPad Air with them a few years back. It took me about two weeks and ten hours on the phone to finally get them to activate the device, and that was after signing an agreement that basically told me that if I have any problems with the device or the network, I am on my own.

Straight talk activation problems?

Ok. I bought a new Straight talk phone from Walmart on Sunday night. I ported my number for Tracfrone to Straight Talk. After 12 hours my old phone had already quit working and the Straight talk phone was not working.I called customer service and spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with them on Monday. Most of that time I was on hold. They told me that my number was ported successfully and that my phone is active and I should be able to make and recieve calls. MY PHONE IS NOT ACTIVE. IT STILL SAYS ACTIVATION REQUIRED ON THE SCREEN. I have multiple text messages and multiple voice mails. I can not check them to see who they are from. When I try to do so it says activation is required. The only thing I can do on the phone is add contacts. Anything else I try to do I get the activation required message. Straight talk customer service told me to wait 24 hours for activation.
Tuesday I contacted them through their facebook page on their discussion board. After about 3 hours of corresponding with them on facebook, they asked me for a landline number and called me. I was on the phone with them about an 1 1/2 hours when they called me. Once again I spent most of the time on hold. They told me that my phone should be active and that their records showed that my phone was activated and programmed properly. However, my phone still shows activation required. They suppossedly created a trouble ticket and told me to wait ANOTHER 24 hours to see if it works and if it doesn't to call them back.
I feel like I am getting the run around from their customer service department and no results. I paid $40 to get the phone and the airtime card was $45. I still am unable to use my new phone. Does anyone know of any steps I can take to remedy this situation and maybe get to talk to someone who can actually speak ENGLISH well so it can be fixed. I am extremely angry that they are doing nothing. And I'm ready to file a complaint with the Better Buisness Bureau. If anyone has any input on this situation I would love to hear it.
The phone I purchased was the Samsung T255G camera phone and the $45 unlimited airtime card.
Thanks!

Can a straight talk service card still work if it hasn't been scanned?

My Nanny bought me a 6 month service card for my birthday, but every time I try to activate it it says that it isnt working or hasnt been scanned. Is there a way to activate it or will I have to buy another one myself. She doesn't have the receipt anymore so I can't bring it back to walmart. Help please.

How can I switch my phone from straight talk to Verizon?

As far as the phone goes, that's easy. All Verizon phones are compatible with Straight Talk, so you will just need to replace the Verizon SIM card in the phone with a Straight Talk SIM card. This is assuming you already own your phone. If you are still making payments on it, you will probably need to pay it off before you will be able to use it on Straight Talk. Straight Talk should provide you with this SIM or you can buy one online or at Wal-Mart.If you are looking to keep your phone number you will need to port it over from Verizon and should be able to do this either through Straight Talk's 800 number or their website. In order to port your number you will need your Verizon account number AND PIN number. If you do not have BOTH, you will not be able to use your number. Your Verizon number will also need to be active and in good standing at the time of the port request. If the number is suspended or disconnected, the port request will be denied by Verizon.

How can I switch my phone from Verizon to Straight Talk?

You actually do not have to do anything. Since Straight Talk has a subsidiary mvno contract with Verizon, as it does with Sprint, AT&T & T-Mobile, Straight Talk service can be use on a Verizon device irregardless of network lock status. The Straight Talk SIM card kit includes a CDMA LTE SIM (UICC) card which is specifically for Verizon compatible smartphones which are 4G/LTE capable. To use your Verizon device on Straight Talk, you will only need to install that SIM in your Verizon device along with the included network access code. You may activate service either by calling Straight Talk customer service, or by visiting Straight Talk's BYOD (bring your own device) activation webpage online.
