I can't send emails. I keep getting a message that says unable to send message and says it's to prevent spam.?
i'm seeing more responses of similar errors tonight. sounds like a system wide issue, possibly because of holiday traffic. i strongly recommend using Google's g-mail for e-mail. I've been using it for over four years and never experience issues like that, unless it's my own internet connection. you can still use your yahoo e-mail and have it forwarded to your g-mail, and also reply through g-mail, but have it shown as your yahoo account. i have about five other accounts forwarded to my g-mail account. you can create drafts, and separate folders to organize your mail as you receive them. it separates primary, promotions, and social e-mail. promotions would be like store or retail coupons and ads from places you've shopped or signed up for. and social is say youtube, facebook, twitter, etc, or others you signed up for. i use g-mail every day and never have this issue.

I am getting the same error since yesterday, Jan 29 2015. I have my own website and I use that site's email from my Yahoo. I had added that account with Yahoo years ago and things were working fine. But not since yesterday. I can still send email fine from the Yahoo address, but I cannot send when I am using the other From address. receiving email is not a problem. I cannot find the solution. Can Yahoo PLEASE help?

We had the exact same problem on our Outlook about 8 months in the past. It hasn't ever corrected itself and, regardless of the shown reality that I requested a question about it on YA, in no way were given a suitable helpful answer. We purely stopped using Outlook for our emails and used Sky really. The problem is still there! I can't send emails and I've tried saving into drafts and sending from my phone but my phone doesn't show me the drafts I save on the computer. What?? I'm getting really annoyed now. My other yahoo account works, but I don't want to mix accounts.. so annoying! I've switched to basic mail, plain text, rich text, logged out and back in, changed computers, changed internet connection...nothing works! Yahoo! Please wake up and fix the problem!!!!!

The suspicious mail filter is killing our business communications. On top of that, I'm now unable to email pictures from my phone to my Yahoo account. After more than a dozen years, When this first started occurring, I reported it to AT&T. They contacted Yahoo and were told that the filters were working properly. I tried contacting Yahoo directly and no response. I'm going to quit using Yahoo as a main email browser. I have no choice as its frustrating the heck out of people trying to send me legitimate emails only to have them rejected as suspicious content or their account was a noted spam sending address.

I just added this... so let s get together and let Yahoo know that they stand a chance to lose a LOT of customers!!!: I cannot send an email if it has links... or an attachment... or ANYTIME that I want to send an email, it seems! I keep getting a security response - and then I have to start all over with my Gmail account. Ever since you got into bed with AT&T you guys have continually gotten worse. I am not going to go through and add spaces to every single link that I have in my emails - some threads are MONTHS long in the process... and this ONLY happens when accessing webmail on the desktop (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari - many different computers and systems, as well as OS versions - ONLY when using the webmail!). There tens of thousands that are having this issue (like hundreds of thousands) - and we are starting a grass roots action to end using yahoo EN MASSE and go to Google... unless you can fix this. Social media is VERY powerful these days (I work social media for AT&T - Trust Me!!) - please fix this asap - AND respond to my email. Thank you.
