I Keep Getting A Wierd Feeling In My Chest But I Don

Weird feeling in my chest!?

Ok, not a doctor but I do suffer from panic and anxiety and have since I was your age and I am now 43..with all my education on this subject and the fact that I am in the health field I still get them.
All my tests came up normal too! Ask you Dr. or psyche if this could be related to the adrenaline being set off because of the onset of an attack"...like mine are...I get a freaky feeling in my chest, then the arm, my eyes go blurry sometimes, heck I even get a numb tongue. Several visits to the ER
Keep a journal A B C chart
what happened before, (antecedent) the 'feeling'(behavior) and what happened after (consequence)
no matter what, it's "not in your head" it's how your body behaves to certain situations
hope that helps or maybe gives you different ?'s to ask your Doc

Weird feeling in my chest when I think about him?

Well I don't think about him actually. It's more of like when I see his name the my chest tightens and it kind of hurts (not health problem). I usually get that at times, but I don't know why I get this feeling when I hate him. I don't talk to him no more because I realized that I shouldn't be friends with the person who bullied you most of the time in high school. I get this feeling when I see his name or sometimes when I see him. Key word: sometimes. He told me he liked me on February and I told him no and he said that no one will ever like me since I'm ugly and he's the only one who knows me more. That is how I ended the friendship, but yeah.

Why do I get this feeling when I hate him?

Sorry for my blabbering. I do that a lot c:

Why do I get a weird feeling in my chest after eating chicken?

WOW! Am I ever glad that you asked this question! Due to the fact that dry chicken has often caused me to have episodes of it getting stuck in my esophagus to the point the it was painful and I could not swallow ANYTHING even water as it would all come back up, I did some more research on this topic. Most doctors and EMTS that have responded to my very frightening episodes like this have informed me that it is being caused due to the fact that I was eating and talking too fast or the chicken was dry and I needed liquids etc and was nothing serious.I just read a few warnings from other doctors who say that this can be very serious and is nothing to scoff at and medical attention is needed ASAP. That being said, the article from a doctor that I will share the link to, made several references to medical conditions that can and do cause “esophagi tis”. I DO have that condition and have had to have the strictures in my esophagus stretched out with an angioplasty balloon. I DO have severe acid reflux which can lead to scarring and polyps ( even pre-cancerous ones.) Yikes I have the first two of those as well that have to be removed, periodically. I also have more than one painful hiatal hernia. and I have Celiac Diseases, Leaky Gut Syndrome, and Diverticulitis My youngest son is also a Doctor in the Military and he said that research has intimated that the strictures can possibly be caused by the Celiac as well. .This Doctor said that if a person has ANY difficulty with swallowing that they need to get medical attention ASAP.Of course I do not know exactly what is causing the weird feeling for you. I, myself would seriously consider the advice that this doctor gives. I am no longer going to allow anyone to marginalize the pain and fear of these kinds of things any more. Get the ambulance, I don’t CARE, it is my life even if you do not have clue what is really going on with it.Don’t Ignore Swallowing Difficulties

My chest feels weird when lacking sleep?

What you are describing is called heart palpitations. They can occur when you have not gotten enough sleep. Sleep helps regulate many functions in our bodies, including that of the nervous system. The nervous system is responsible for regulating the electrical signals that tell our heart to beat. When the nervous system is off-kilter due to sleep deprivation, it sometimes misfires here and there which can cause palpitations.

Feeling lightness in my chest?

Go to your doctor or to a walk-in clinic and get an EKG (electrocardiogram). It is an absolutely painless procedure that records your heart rhythm through electrodes placed on your chest and abdomen. If you have any irregularities in the conduction system of your heart, they can be seen by the doctor. In some cases, a heartbeat irregularity may come and go and won't be picked up by the EKG. In this case, the doctor will get you set up with a small monitor that you wear for a period of time that records your heart rhythm. Again, this is entirely painless.

At your age it is very unlikely that you have a cardiac abnormality, but you should still get tested to rule this out. Two more likely causes for your symptoms: 1) you aren't consuming enough water and/or electrolytes. This especially makes sense since you said you usually have symptoms at the end of a practice. Drink some Gatorade or Powerade (but NO energy drinks or anything else with caffeine like coffee or tea) about half an hour before your show run and see if that helps. 2) you could be experiencing anxiety. You say the program is very intense, and maybe there is a buildup of stress and anxiety that you feel at the end of a practice or a show. If you think this might be happening, your school should have a counselor you can see anonymously and for free.

In any case, get that EKG because in the off chance you do have a cardiac issue, you need to address it immediately.

I feel a heaviness in my chest. I am confused on everything about my relationship. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Dear Writer,This is probably the best response you’ll get as I was in the exact position as you with a lot of similarities especially with the heavy chest feeling.Every relationship we have with another person is the greatest mirror of OURSELVES. They either bring the shiniest light or bring out the deepest darkest shadows. With that said, you are feeling all this doubts and anxiety because of you’re own INSECURITIES. It is painful to admit but it is, because I know it is for me. Love isn’t enough, and love isn’t easy; especially when you are feeling that way.I have the same chest feeling every single day upon waking up, I had no idea what it was but deep down my subconscious mind was telling me that this isn’t the relationship I’d want to be in nor it’s doing good to me. I kept telling myself “it’s going to get better” or my conscious mind will say that everything is FINE and I love her and that’s what matters.TRUE LOVE is NOT supposed to make you feel ANY DOUBTS OR DISCOMFORT. Once you feel any of these then you aren’t supposed to be there and it isn’t fair to her as well.Just be mindful and don’t take her for granted. Be selfish for your OWN happiness. Our insecurities come from within, from our past experiences, how we are raised and such. We CANNOT change the past BUT we can learn from it. Love yourself first, before you love someone else. Be the greatest version of yourself, because right now YOU aren’t because you are NOT capable of loving her the way she IS. IT IS NOT LOVE when you wan’t them to change for you. I have learned this the hard way…Do what is BEST for you my man, I’m not a guru or anything but whatever you do, you aren’t alone.Im in the process of healing at the moment, to love and rebuild myself again, to get that self worth and self confidence I once had before the relationship..It’s not easy, It’s painful, It’s depressing, and all the imaginable things you can think about a breakup. But I believe we can all go through this and heal, and become a better version of ourselves.Goodluck.

I get a weird feeling in my stomach when I think about my crush? I'm not sure if it's "butterflies" or not?

It means that you have high emotional intelligence and a healthy guidance system.Your feelings have nuances that you can read to interpret and understand valuable information about people, situations and events that is not delivered to you through your senses.Feelings often give us information that is off the radar screen. So consider yourself lucky. Now “weird” is general term. It’s kind of hard for somebody on Quora, who doesn’t know you, to assess weird and to decide whether it means positive or negative, or something else, within this context. My own feeling, which might be nothing more than confirmation bias, tells me that weird probably means uneasy. So your crush makes you feel uneasy and possibly triggers a slight fear reaction. This is all hypothesis on my part so don’t let it influence your perception of your crush. The best thing to do is try and put words - as many as possible - to your feeling until you understand it as if it were a physical object.Dictated using SpeechToText Pro.

I get a warm, soft feeling in my chest when I think about a particular person who I like. Is this the beginning of love or do I just have a crush?

Nah love is deeper then that. You will get a warm feeling to someone when you are typically attracted to that person. You don’t even know that person even if you know her you have no idea what she feels about you, so you can’t really be in love with her, love is a two way street where two individuals share feelings, if you go around building feelings for someone that you barely know or you barely talked with and you have no idea what they feel then you are going to fall in love with every second person that you feel attracted to, which is totally wrong.Love feels heavier then that, when you see that person and know that the person is yours you will basically forget the whole world when you are around her, you will constantly have butterflies, and you won’t care about anyone else, you will basically get that 1d vision where you only see her, that’s what i call love and feelings.Do not confuse a simple attraction or crush with love.To love someone you need to know that person deep down inside, it takes a really long time. You sound immature and you lack experience you are going to learn those things later on.
