I Keep Getting Bad Qualifications . Help

UCAS application education section help?

Honours degree level or above qualifications: this includes higher education (University) qualifications at honours degree level or above only. For example, bachelor's degree with honours, master's degree, PhD.

Below honours degree level qualifications: this includes further education qualifications that you studied at school or college. For example, AS and A level, Scottish Higher and Advanced Higher, GCSE, Irish Leaving Certificate, International Baccalaureate, Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND), foundation degree, Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE), bachelor's degree at ordinary level (without honours).

So i assume the one that you have sat is below honours degree level qualification. so just choose Below one :)

H&R Block Emerald Advance Line of Credit Qualifications??

for the emerald advance there are three basic requirements-you have to have done you taxes with hr block before, you have to have a current paystub or w2 (also a picture ID, but that's a given), and owe no debt to hr block (also a given)

for the income requirements-must have 10,000.00 (or more) in yearly income, plus be expecting a 1000.00 refund.

good things about the loan-it is actually a line of credit which you can use again and again without paying renewal fees.
it comes with on a card which you can use if you want to as a checking acct.(direct deposit available)

bad things- a line of credit is still a loan, and I have no word on the interest rate(I'm quoted 9-36 percent.). also the card has all sorts of rules-if you follow the rules you're gold, but if you don't they'll stick ya- you know "terms and conditions" apply etc.

It looks like it could be a good product, if you use it wisely.

How old are you because if its anything like here you do your actual qualifications in the last 2 years of school. Aged 15-16 otherwise just dont worry about the grades and i ur parents tell you off tell them that the teacher taught you the stuff that you didnt need to know rather than the stuff you did

HELP! I got terrible grades in my GCSE examinations?

First of all, don't worry. GCSE's mean very little in the real world. Richard Branson left school at 15 with no qualifications and Alan Sugar the same, and look at them now.

Second, you can go to college to re-do your GSCE's. Most offer GCSE re-take courses in at least English, Maths and Science. Once you've got them, you've got a better chance of being able to do A Levels or a GNVQ.

Thirdly, you can go for a Youth Training Scheme, that will train you for a professional, career-orientated qualification. I used to work with someone who got bad GCSE's, went on a YTS scheme and now has a great career as a photographer.

Also, you could also look into a more manual based apprentiship, like in mechanics or engineering if you're interested in anything like that.

If there are any professions that you are interested in working in, phone, write, email and generally pester appropriate businesses asking for work experience. It will be unpaid but you will find bosses value experience over qualifications any day. Trust me, I'm a student journalist, I have a good degree, but no one cared - they wouldn't give me a job until I had experience.

I'd suggest you re-take a couple of GCSE's at college, think about what you'd like to do as a job and try and get work experience. Or the YTS if you already have an idea about what you want to do and they run an apporpriate course.

Get yourself down to your local careers advice centre, they should be able to run over your options with you in more detail.

Please don't be frightened, this isn't the end of the world.

I need help. I’m trying to do well in school but my friends are terrible influences. What do I do?

Hello. I live in the UK. In the UK I have really important exams called GCSEs that are coming up in 69 days. Im passionate about my education and I do want the absolute best grades possible. But my friends are horrific influences. I really want to help them because I love them and these qualifications stay with us forever but they’re not listening to me. For example, my friend got a 2 in her exam (an F). I will NEVER judge someone for getting bad grades, or has happened to me before, the only thing that maters is if you identify your mistakes and learn from them. Instead of talking about how she’s can improve, she literally was talking to the boys in or class about how much boys should masturbate in a week and about sex! And they also spend so much time talking about sex and they make really uncomfortable comments towards me. They were talking about BDSM in school and talking about whether they’re Dom’s or sub, and they said to me “ I bet (insert my name) is into BDSM, it’s those that you least expect.” And that made me feel very uncomfortable. Our exams are in 69 days! We have 11 subjects that we need to master in order to get top grades. They don’t want me to study or to improve in school, they just want me to look pretty and get a boyfriend and talk to boys. One of them stops me from studying, they’re always like “why are you spending so much time on your homework” and “why are you actually listening in class” and “why are you going to study” it’s really stressful.
