I Keep Getting Low Memory On Some Games I Play On My Laptop

How can I make my laptop to play all games?

Usually, laptops are made with energy efficiency/charge duration and low weight in mind. Because of this, they use specially designed CPUs and GPUs which have lower voltage / power consumption and, consequently, lower computing power than desktop devices. When buying a laptop, you’re always making a (conscious or unconscious) compromise between price and power. While there are laptops which are sold for over 2000$ and which can run even the newest computer games, typical laptop in the 600 - 800$ range will only be powerful enough to run cca “[This year - 3] level of games”.Furthermore, there is usually very little you can do to upgrade your notebook; while you could replace the hard drive with an SSD drive to speed up booting and/or game loading, and while you could theoretically upgrade the installed memory modules, that’s about it.Please give up the idea that you can “make your laptop play all games”. It’s not going to happen. The good news is - it’s not actually necessary! At this point, there are thousands of games which you can play on your laptop, and 3 years from now, you can replace it with a newer one, and play all those games release in the last 3 years (from today’s perspective). Not only will they run OK, but they will be super cheap to acquire, the bugs in them will be gone, and there will be a consensus on which games are really good and which are not.

How do I play high end games in a low end laptop with 128 mb inbuilt dedicated graphics memory and 2 gb Ram and a 2.2 Ghz Intel processor?

Mods are available for games such as Grand Theft Auto 5 and Watch Dogs that reduces the graphics of your game beyond the available in game settings. This includes reducing some effects to completely removing some eye candy such as shadows, reflections, ambient occlusion, reducing texture quality and polygon counts .You might even have to reduce the resolution to beyond the lowest for playable FPS.Based on the given specs of your laptop it seems it isn't meant for gaming. But you can still use its maximum potential by.Opening up task manager and ending unwanted tasks to clear up more ram.You should make sure that its unwanted otherwise it could lead to system instability. DO NOT use soft wares such as Game Booster as these are est suited for high end hardware and in your case reduces the overall system performance.Use virtual Ram as some games(not all)benefit from this. These steps can help you run titles that were released till 2013 and some other highly optimized titles too but don't expect stable 60 FPS or even 30 and don't let me remind you of the graphics.Note:If you end up wanting to buy a gaming computer go for a desktop as these offer more than 30% more performance as compared to their laptop counterpart at the same price range.

Why does my laptop suddenly get to 10 fps while I’m playing games? Normally, it’s at 200 fps. It also hangs while I’m doing normal stuff.

I recently fixed this issue with my friend’s laptop. Other answers point towards the right cause. You should get your laptop checked by a professional to inspect for any blockage or restriction in air flow from the heat sink to the exhaust fan.If you think you can disassemble the laptop and re-assemble it yourselves, then head over to the manufacturer’s website and follow the steps for teardown by referring to the Hardware Maintenance Manual. Although, I wouldn’t recommend this as THIS MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY.My friend’s laptop had a small metal piece stuck between the fan and the laptop chassis. This slowed down the fan, causing the laptop to overheat and in turn dropping the FPS significantly.Peace.

Can i run these games with my new laptop HP® G6-2244NR?

They will run, but most likely it will be an unpleasant experience for Skyrim, not sure about BO2 and SR3. I'd like too look up a laptop for you, but there's this website "newegg.com" and you can do some research yourself. Ibuypower also has laptops and you can see if they will run a certain game, although you will not get a $400 laptop from there, and most likely you can't find a better laptop at $400 or less.

Is My Laptop Game Compatible?

I don't think you can upgrade that graphics card but you might need to consider upgrading your RAM.
Either way you cant play COD5 with that mobo maybe your friend was referring to COD4.

Is this a good laptop for games like BF3, BF4, and Arma 3?

Nah, I just checked it out. Since it has integrated graphics card (Intel HD 4000) it isn't ideal for running high-end games such as BF3 and BF4. I'm not too sure about Arma 3 since I haven't seen it before. If you do get this laptop, the games will most likely lag and MAYBE playable on really low settings.
The memory is fine, the processor is okay but the graphics card is lacking. (My friend has a computer just like the one that you want to buy except a different screen size and he can run Skyrim but on low settings).

Try to find a laptop with a good dedicated graphics card.
If you're good with computers, get a custom built computer. You could get one from the 500 to 700 price range that can run high-end games well.

Here's a sexy laptop from futureshop that hits 700$.

What are some tips to play any game smoothly (60fps) on a low-end PC?

Change your windows appearance settings to “best performance”Go to power options, select High PerformanceOptimize your Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Catalyst for high performanceType “msconfig” in Windows search and open it, go to services tab, click “hide windows services” and turn off everything that's unnecessary, do the same thing in the startup tabAlways keep vsync and anti aliasing off in game settingsIf you're on a 1920x1080 monitor, try using the 1280x720 resolution in-game, the graphics difference isn't that bad and it improves your fpsAlways keep your display drivers up-to-dateMake sure all your CPU cores are unparked (search for cpu unpark on Google if you don't know what I mean)Always make sure your game is on fullscreen mode instead of borderless or windowedAfter you're running your game, press alt+tab and open task manager, click on processes, find the game, right click on it, set priority to high
