I Know I Asked This Already But I Need Help I Have A Bump Under My Armpit

I have a bump on my armpit...HELP?

I'm 13 years old.
and i've been shaving my armpits for about 2 years now.
I wear alot of deodorant because im a heavy sweater sometimes,
But i have one bump about the size of a M&M on my armpit,
and then 2 little ones.
now my other armpit is starting to get sore, but there isnt a bump.

I've been reading some of other peoples questions about it, and people were saying it could be breast cancer! :| So now i'm sorta REALLY freaking out..
Someone wanna help me..
and I've already had the ingrown hair thingy.
and i now how and what that looks like and this doesnt feel like it.

when i felt the bump (i dont care if you think its gross I wanted to see if it was hard just incase)
It wasn't hard it was squishy and it caused me a great deal of pain.

I dont know if its from me shaving , wearing to much deodorant.
for my everyday deodorant I use a normal kind of deodorant (non gel)

but whenever I have gym at school I use a different kind Adidas Ladys.

Now I don't know if that would have to do with it but im just saying things i think would help..
Im going to ask my mom in the morning to look at it
I haven't shaved for about 3 days, I know its gross but i don't want to irritate whatever it is.

please help.
thank you very much.

I have a lump under my armpit help!!?

1. Men's deodorants are designed for men specially because most woman shave their armpit hairs, so the deodorant is softer on the skin. This means men's deodorants are harsher on the skin.
2. Right. As for this lumpy thing, the easiest way is to go to the doctors or tell your parents. It may be a small mole or just a small flap in the skin. It's perfectly normal to have these "flaps" or whatever there. No biggie. Neither are moles;
3. You should use Sure Woman's deodorant. My friend sweat ALOT I mean we'll be sitting in an air conditioned room and she'll be sweating tonnes. She uses Sure, I'm not sure on the name of the Sure deodorant she uses, but when you go to the shops ask someone who works there.
Hope this helps xoxox

Bump under armpit!? Please Answer Now!?

Ok, so just a few minutes ago, I guess I just felt my armpit, or something (lol), and suddenly I felt this bump under there. Idk, it's probably the size of a pea and it hurts to touch. It's right where I shave, but it must've just developed today, because when I shaved today, it wasn't there. I shave everyday, could this be some sort of reason. It's seriously worring me...and since it's 10 at night, I can't go to the doc right now. And, if I don't have a clue of to what it is, I'll spend the whole night thinking it's cancer, and I won't get any sleep. Please...what is it??

Small Pee Size Bump Under Armpit Skin?

It could be a swollen lymph node, however lymph nodes are supposed to be freely movable and if this one hasn't gone away, it could very well be something more then that. I would go get it checked out just in case, cancer isn't always a painful thing, so it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out afterall. Hope it's nothing serious!

How can I treat a lump with pus on my armpit?

A lump in the armpit that would most likely be due to an infection. It is basically a simple condition to treat except if the lump is caused by a more sinister condition (like cancer) or if there is an underlying co-existing condition (like diabetes). It is best to first remove the pus from the lump. The aim is to keep the wound clean to encourage adequate wound healing. A trained specialist should be able to assist you with this…Now that the pus is out of the way, you want to aim next at maintaining a clean lump all the time. There are various techniques at doing this. Your doctor should be able to advice on the best path to follow.I should stress that in a way pus oozing out of the lump or wound surface is a good sign. It means your body defense system is strong, active and alert. But most folks hate pus probably because it has an irritating smell, but it would be cool to let you know a bit about PUS.The pus that oozes out of the lump wound site contains dead bacteria, some dead tissues and cells including white blood cells.A patient asked me recently why does pus come out of the body, for she had a little lump under her elbow.I ll give the same response to her right here; The body gradually expels the dead bacteria and dead cells out of the body via the pus. So, it must be good a sign when u see pus located or collected at any part of the body. However, there is a big CATCH!!!Do not let the pus to be retained in your body system for a long time… promptly seek medical attention for its removal and for a perfect healing of your armpit lump.

What are the treatments for painful bumps on your armpit?

What are the treatments for painful bumps in your armpits? If the bumps are small and on the surface of the skin (like pimples)usually the treatment is to stop irritating the skin of the armpits: stop shaving, or using anti-perspirants. They are the most common culprits. If you use deodorant only (for adults, Arm and Hammer has the only deodorant WITHOUT antiperspirant in it), and you still get these bumps after stopping shaving or using antiperspirants, then you need to stop the deodorant use as well. You can also wash your armpits with Hibiclens:It almost always comes in a blue bottle and has the same anti-bacterial ingredient that is used in surgery. This will decrease the amount of bacteria in your armpits and decrease the chance of having those bumps (DO NOT USE THIS SOAP ON YOUR FACE!!)Sometimes, there are many, many bumps and they can get large: this may be a condition called hidradenitis suppurativa:This condition is something that needs medical attention and should not be treated at home.If you have large bumps UNDER the skin like this:You need immediate medical attention, as this could be an indication of cancer of some kind. It could also be a reactive lymph node (an inflammatory reaction to an infection) but even in that case, if it is painful, that lymph node could be infected and you may need antibiotics.

I have a lump in my armpit, should I be worried?

I’ll tell you, this has happened to me 3 times. This is going to be gross as a fair warning. Also, I don’t recommend what I do, go see a doctor if you can, this is more to relieve stress while you wait for your appointment. The first time, a large lump the size of a walnut was in my right armpit, I would squeeze at it, and it would hurt after I messed with it, it felt like it was getting more swollen. I had a doctor’s appointment for the next week, but then in the shower, it burst. I had messed with it so much that it broke the skin and this large gunk just poured out, eventually dark blood came out, then it was done. Obviously I stayed away from using antiperspirant for a time because I didn’t want to get it (more?) infected or anything, and by the time of my doctor’s appointment, it had fully healed, so I cancelled the appointment.A couple years later, the same thing, except this time, I didn’t make the appointment, I disinfected the area, disinfected a needle, poked it, relieved the gunk, put some neosporin on it, bandaged it, and that was that. When it happened again, thats when I realized that while I “always” had a red area in my armpit, which I now know was a rash, I just didn’t know everyone didn’t have this reaction to anti-perspirants. I switched to natural deodorant and it went away (but it smelled like lemongrass, gross to my senses), and then I realized I could buy normal smelling deodorant and smell “normal” but just not have whatever active ingredient is in anti-perspirants and be fine. I haven’t had a 4th cyst in over 8 years, so hopefully its permanently gone. I have tried to use antiperspirants again (accidentally bought the antiperspirant kind instead of deodorant, I didn’t realize they made the same smell in both types), and I immediately got the rash again so I threw it away.So in my opinion, I wouldn’t be too worried about it, its probably just a cyst, for me, its a 10 dollar copay to have my doctor take care of a cyst and takes only a few minutes and is mostly painless. Obviously your available healthcare will determine your best plan of action.Good luck!

Small red armpit lump. Possibly a lymph node?

Hey everyone. So I’ve had a cold for the last few days and I had a red lump in armpit I assumed it was a lymph node. It went away but now another red lump in my armpit swelled up. Are they lymph nodes and is it normal? Any reply would be great. Thanks

Painful bump under my armpit?

yeah you might have pulled a muscle, but go see your doctor immediately!!!!!!!! it could be something dangerous

How can I get rid of a hard lump in my armpit?

Leave it alone, in most cases these lumps are benign. Lymph nodes are what caused the lump. They assist in fluid transfer throughout the body as well as other stuff that I can't remember right now. Do not try and remove it. The lump is an enlarged lymph node due to some type of infection, probably because of the razor you used to shave. it should go away within two weeks. If the lump persists, gets larger, or starts hurting, (some pain is common, but not to the point where it is unbearable) then consult a doctor. Google might convince you that there is a cyst growing there or that it is pus-filled. DO NOT attempt to cut it open and see for yourself, that's what doctors are for. Consult a doctor and they will advise you best. It takes a lot more than an unsanitized razor to cause a cyst. However, don't completely ignore the lump, keep an eye on it to make sure that there are no major changes. You should see the lump get smaller but it can be a gradual change, that's why I mentioned 2 weeks above. If you already tampered with the lump before my post then as long as you didn't do anything major, such as remove the lump, you should be fine. If you start seeing signs of infection however, visit your doctor and they can help from there. I'm a medical student and am still learning the ways of a doctor. My analysis is incomplete and for the ultimate care of your body you should consult your doctor. Sry for the long post but I wanted to make sure to cover the basics, if you are still curious as to how it may have happened I'm sure there are plenty of articles online, but don't go testing any home remedies, your body is great at defending itself. The lump is just a sign that your defense system is at work.
