This is my 2nd time asking because I barely got any answers, but anyways, he told me that he knows someone who likes me, every time someone asks him who it is he won't tell. I asked him and he said the guy has an A in his name (his first name starts with an A and his last name starts with an A ??) All my friends thinks he likes me because he's always the one initiating conversation with me, except online (i would say hi sometimes and he replies with short answers -.-) He messes with me all the time like poke me etc, and comes up with the most random things he can come up with to talk about. He knows i think he's cute, and he has even called me 'cutie' once. He's always staring at me and looks mad every time I'm with other guys. We have one class together, and one time I was the last one out of class because I was talking to my guy friend and he stood there looking at us and waited like he was waiting for me because no one else was there and I'm pretty sure he didn't need to talk to the teacher or my friend because he left when I left too. I always hear him say my name when he's with others. And one time when I walked into class, he was there with his friends and I heard one of his friends say 'there she is' and he was looking at me smiling. He leans in when he talks to me too (not sure if he can't hear me, but he does it pretty often) But the thing is, it was my last day in school yesterday and he knows I might move to another school but hasn't talked to me about it or told me he likes me? All he did that last day was stare at me, and looked like he wanted to say something but I was with my friends. Do you guys think he likes me? (we're both 16 if that helps) And he's a pretty outgoing guy too, but he's always awkward with me for some reason when he talks to almost every girl in school and can carry on conversations with them. My instincts tell me he likes me, but he's so popular and i'm not, and ALOT of other girls like him that it's pretty impossible for me to believe that he likes me back...

hug + pat means wants to be friends just plain hug could be anything hug + hand on lower back just wants to touch a girl he thinks is good looking hug + slight rub on the middle of your back means likes you hug + rub on upper back means he's there for you but doesnt "like" you this is just a referance usually this is what they mean but everyone is different so dont hold me to it =) (i.e. shy guys might give a pat when they really like you) you need to do some more fishing

In this case I think you'd benefit from telling him you like him. It really sounds as though he shares the same feelings in his own way. In the elevator story he said he was 'lucky,' when you bumped into him getting into the elevator/lift. He is incredibly shy, but if you let him know how you feel, I have an idea the shyness will slip away :)

How come i only like guys until they like me back?
wow i never realized that other people go through this as well. i've been like you for as long as i can remember....that probably explains why i've never had a boyfriend before. for me its like someone just said...you like a challenge and when you've won you dump it. i don't do this intentionally but this is something i have noticed in myself and i'm not proud of it either. once a guy starts to like me back i just don't find him that attractive anymore; and i think it's like someone else just said....it's probably because you were originally attracted to their aloof and detached attitude. do you have a problem with commitment?? because if you do, that could be another reason for this. i know that for me personally, at this time in my life, i really don't like the idea of being tied down to someone else. i'm 21 and in college, so right now all i really want to do is focus my time on finishing my education and getting a good job. a boyfriend would be great but i just don't want all the stress of a relationship right now in my life. hope this helps you to feel less confused.

Okay, this has been happening to me for as long as i can remember. I like a guy, we start talking, and as we get closer and he starts liking me, i get very creeped out and i don't want to be around him and i get scared, so i pull away. then, when he stops liking me, i like him again. here is an example that is happening right now. i liked this guy, at first he didn't show interest. he did start after a while and asked me out. at first i was thrilled. as the date got closer, i got creeped out and didn't wanna talk to him and didn't want to text him. i got so scared and had a panic attack the night before the date, and i just did not want to go. i was so scared! the date itself was pretty awkward, and i was so glad it was over and did not want to do it again. fast forward three months. we talk a lot, we havent been on a date since the first one, but he asks me sometimes and i get creeped out when he brings it up... sometimes i really like him and i get all excited about him, and sometimes i don't like him. it's on and off. i want to like him so much, because he's so nice and he really likes me. but i wish i could stop blowing hot and cold. i'm 19, i don't really hang out a lot, i'm home all the time. i'm just scared because i don't want to hurt him. my mother told me that she used to have that issue, but said that i should stick it out and the feeling will go away. what do you think? i'm really worried.
