Is Australia an open minded place, or is it backwards and redneck like?
I am Colombian with sort of like a mediterranean look, so I often pass for lebanese, sicilian, arab something like that. I work for a big multi-national company with headquarters in the US, so for a while I worked in my country Colombia until my boss decided to move me to the US and then they transfered me to China and eventually Europe..... in all of these places I found good and bad, I never had problems in any of these places because of my skin color or race.... One place people of colour working with don't recommend is Australia.... Sort of among my co-workers of Indian, Pakistani, African heritage there is this idea that australia is a very very racist and backwards place, and most aussies are redneck trash with no much of a brain, but instead too much beer, too much of a mouth and too racists to deal with. I have never been to australia and yesterday I was told I was gonna move to melbourne for the next three years.... so I am really afraid for my well being. I asked my white colleagues (mostly British) and they told me, they never had issues in Australia but they're white, but they do feel Australians can be very ignorant and backwards. Am I right in my assumptions? or just paranoid?

No, Netflix bases its content on your IP address, not on where the account originates. I have a US Netflix account but live in Mexico, so I have to use Latin American Netflix. It’s fine, and while it’s a little thinner on films for streaming, it has plenty of television content. I could probably get more if I were willing to use their DVD service instead of just streaming.There are VPNs that used to allow you to create a fake IP address from anywhere in the world, but most content streaming sites have now gotten wise to them and banned them. You could put your friend’s Netflix account at risk of cancellation for violation of terms of service if you use one (as I suspect other people here will suggest). I would just go with whatever is available in Europe, which I bet will be plenty to watch.

I believe it would therefore be the same with a shared account, to each their own shows. If you travel though, you can watch other Netflixes and also save some episodes to watch when you get back. School trip with none of my best friends? Should I go or not?
This year in September, 40 students from my high school (including me) are going to a 7-day school trip in Europe. I really want to go there because I love travelling. The only problem is that none of my 4 best friends in my class are going to go there! So, I'm left out with bunch of people I don't know. The only bright side is that there are 2 girls that are actually a good friends of mine, we go out sometimes, but we aren't that close. I really want to go, but I don't wanna feel left out there and be like a loner. Its 7 freaking days for god sakes! Also, I will have no sitting buddy in the bus and I don't wanna sit alone during the whole trip. I really don't know what to do, my parents should pay till tomorrow, but I don't know if I should go or not...
