I Live In Canada And My Friend Lives In Uk. We Want To Get Together In Mexico But Are Having A

American living in Mexico?

My boyfriend, who is mexican, and I have been together for 5 years and have two boys together. We have an ok life here together, but he keeps telling me it woud be better in Mexico. He really wants us all to move there. How would a white, American girl who speaks no spanish do living in central mexico? Do you think it would be safe for my boys as well as myself?

If my friend in the US sets up a Netflix account and gives me the password, can I use Netflix US in Europe?

No, Netflix bases its content on your IP address, not on where the account originates. I have a US Netflix account but live in Mexico, so I have to use Latin American Netflix. It’s fine, and while it’s a little thinner on films for streaming, it has plenty of television content. I could probably get more if I were willing to use their DVD service instead of just streaming. There are VPNs that used to allow you to create a fake IP address from anywhere in the world, but most content streaming sites have now gotten wise to them and banned them. You could put your friend’s Netflix account at risk of cancellation for violation of terms of service if you use one (as I suspect other people here will suggest). I would just go with whatever is available in Europe, which I bet will be plenty to watch.

Do Mexican-Americans value America's ties to Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland?

Here's the deal - since its independence, America has been part of what is called the "Anglosphere" - the small list of countries where the main "native" language is English, and which share common colonial ties.

Relations have waxed and waned over the centuries, but overall, this group of countries has always had something "special" together - not just militarily or diplomatically, but culturally, too. When a Yank meets a Canuck or Australian or an Englander or a Kiwi or an Irelander in an overseas nation, there has often been a shared identity.

But as Hispanics represent an increasing share of the American population, do they continue to value and nurture America's diplomatic and cultural ties to the rest of the Anglosphere?

Or do they mainly just care about Mexico and El Salvador and Spain and Honduras and the DR and stuff?

I can speak Spanish, but I'll be honest - America will lose A LOT as a nation if we drift away from our friends in the Anglosphere. We can't just break centuries of friendship and have no effect.

I´m mexican and my boyfriend is british, where should we live? In the Uk or Mexico?

Please tell me which country will recive us better, where will we find more opportunities, and which laws we will be facing? Thanks in advance : )

How do people make a living in Mexico?

They are human beings living in a free society. That means that they work for a living. They do do get welfare/dole/or other handouts.

Noticed in your profile that you like pink and shop at Abercrombie & Fitch Stores (even if you cannot spell cool). Hate to tell you but they are only in the USA, Canada, and the UK. So maybe you should not go Mexico to go shopping.

This is my help from Washington, DC, United States of America.

How do I stay in touch with my friend who left to Canada after 9 years that we've been together?

We lived in the Middle East for seven years and then came home to Canada. While we were there, we made friends from all over the world. In the old days we would have lost touch with most of them and, at best exchanged Christmas Cards with the rest probably.I know it has a bad name lately, but Facebook has been a godsend! Right now, we have friends in the UK (Scotland and England), Australia (several), Kuala Lumpur, Qatar, several spots in the US, Western Canada, South Africa (several), and Mexico. Previously, we had friends in Singapore and Germany, but they have since moved to other countries.Skype has also been useful, but Facebook has been the biggest boon.LinkedIn has also helped with a few others that were more workmates than close friends.

Thinking of moving to Mexico?

Salaries are 1/10th or less of what they are in the U.s. a teacher makes about $400.00 a month. a registered nurse makes $100.00 a week....even professionals make very low salaries. Most workers make less tham $10.00 a day. You cannot work in Mexico without a work visa. you cannot get a work visa unless you find an employer to hire you and write a letter to immigration stating he cannot find a Mexican citizen to fill that job. Tyou must apply for an fm3 visa with work permit...lots of paper work, expense and time. You cannot just come to Mexico and find a job. Unless you are highly skilled in a techincal field of work that needs workers here, it is not at all practical. If you are retired with a pension, or wealthy...no problem...but working in Mexico is NOT a good option. Better to work in the states, save and retire to Mexico. The people are kind and friendly for the most part...they are human...so there are a few not as nice, just like anywhere.
