I Lost A Draft Message In Yahoo Mail. How Can I Recover It

Is there any possible way to recover a lost Yahoo! Mail draft?

Not that I know of.The thing to figure out is why is it lost? Was it deleted? Was it sent? Was it moved by accident? Did it just disappear from your ‘drafts’ folder? If you are worried about it happening again, you can always compose a message to yourself, that way, if you accidentally hit send, there will be one in your inbox, and one in your sent (if you have turned on the feature to keep sent messages). You can then pick up the message from either place, and forward it to the person you really wish to send it to.

How to recover deleted drafts or mails on yahoo?

I am afraid not. If you deleted the drafts, usually they won't go the the trash.

How do I recover a Yahoo! mail folder?

Since Yahoo is a proprietary system the only way to recover is to contact their support and prey god they had backups. This is your only choice. Also if you didn't delete the emails somebody else could i.e. your account could be compromised. Change the password and enable dual factor authentication right away.

In the new version of Yahoo Mail the "save draft" option is missing, how can you get it back?

Here is a "workaround". It takes some time and preparation, but it will serve as a working save draft mechanism in the interim.

Compose your draft, and e-mail it to yourself, making sure to enable the "Save to sent messages" function. Use "Draft" as the first word in the message title to make it easier to spot.

To continue work, highlight & copy the text, click "Compose", then paste the text to the composition field. Repeat the send & copy process for each draft modification, then give it the proper title and send it to the proper recipient when the message is all done.

If you are working on or keeping multiple drafts at once, you can also go to your "Folders" section, create a new folder, and name it "Drafts", and move the drafted messages from your "Sent" box over to it. They can then be copied & pasted to the compose window for further work.

An added bonus of this is that if you share your machine, it will allow you to conceal them from prying eyes or meddling fingers.

Is it possible to recover an email message being composed as a draft then suddenly lost before completed?

No afraid not. I have been hitting save every now and then so I don't lose it all when that happens!!!

There is a Server Farm issue with BETA MAIL.and Original Mail.
Listed is the only things that I have found for fixes until testing is over. So, if you don't have BETA MAIL or IE 7 and are having some of the following problems, contact Technical Support: http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/mail/c...

My first suggestion is to use your ISP, Internet Service Provider mail accounts if you are having problems that can't be corrected by going back to IE6 and Yahoo! Original Mail!!!
If not:
TO GET INTO MAIL: for Original and Beta
You will have less problems with Original Mail if you sign in via Messenger! Go to preferences, general, then check box: Automatically sign me in when I click a Yahoo! link in Messenger. Or go to My Yahoo and click on your mail link. Or Click on the Big RED Y! on the Yahoo! Toolbar. Bottom line is any link that already has you signed in!!!

Error fixes on help pages were for Original Mail before Beta Mail was offered. That is why they don't seem to be helping very much since the testing has begun: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/error...

These are the most resent problems reported to Yahoo! Questions:
1. CANNOT COMPOSE REPLY OR SEND MAIL
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/send/...
2. YOUR LOG-IN SESSION HAS EXPIRED:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/acces...
3. CAN NOT FIND SERVER: Go to Tools, Internet Options and on the general tab, Delete Cookies, Temporary Files and Clear History. That should do it for you!
4. OTHER ERROR MESSAGES: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/error...

I believe it will solve MOST all the problems people are having if you Switch Back (click on switch back on top of your inbox on top by your account) to Original Mail, until it is out of the TESTING STAGE. AND IF YOU HAVE IE7 or IE8, uninstall it by going to Start Control Panel/Settings and then Add and Remove Programs. Your IE6 is still installed! Try it and if it doesn't solve your problem just SWITCH BACK TO BETA MAIL!

BETA MEANS TESTING! It lasts for at least 6 months!!!
NOTE: Use BETA software at your own risk; it is intended for testing and evaluation purposes only. Do not install beta software on your primary computer or production environment. That was from Microsoft help pages.

Hope this helps you

If you are composing an email and then accidentally deleted the entire email, you can just simply right click and then select Undo or press (Ctrl + z). You can also check your Deleted folder if the email that you wish to retrieve is still there.

How can I recover Yahoo mails using Helpline Number?

I do not know why you posed this question. Asking how to ask a person at a helpline to help you?OK, You say: “Can you help me recover my E-mails?” They ask about how and when you deleted the mail in question. Based on your answers, they will do what they can. Be prepared for them not being able to recover anything if has been a a while. If you call immediately after emptying the trash you may be in luck.
