I lost my student council election?
Im always shy with elections because I'm embarrassed of losing and so i worked up the courage to run for senator and of course I lost. I just feel like big, fat, ugly, stupid, loser i never win anything and its always the same people that win and get it. Even though they're popular it wasn't a popularity contest because just a few members of stud co and the stud co advisor decided who got it in so it wasn't biased. I tried out for a part in my school play last year and of course i didn't get, then i tried out for vp of NJHS and of course I didn't get it, and now this. I'm tired of being embarrassed all the time i never win anything and ill never run for anything again because i won't get it. Its not fair I'm tired of being a loser i just want to go home and cry in a dark room by myself I'm such a pathetic loser. Im not good at sports i hate sports because the only thing I'm sort of good at is running but compared to others i suck. i always dreamed of going to harvard or attending ivy league but if i can't even win a stupid election ill probably just go to online college like the pathetic idiot i am

Ok so I lost the election me and my friend were both. Running (different positions) we both did not win we were surprised to see the people who everybody hates won they are the teachers pets and kiss ups the principal loves them and gives them special treatment but no one else in both 6 7 or 8 grade likes them I don't get how this is possible

Ok so im running for student council(middle school) and I need ideas to get people to vote for me because I feel like im not well known at my school some things that we cant do is :pass out candy, buttons, etc. And were only allowed to put up 3 posters oh but we can pass out stickers or bookmarks please help :)

Vodka!!! Lots and lots of vodka. Won't cure anything, but then you won't care. In all seriousness. There will be times in your life that you will be upstaged by somebody with less talent, but the right connections. It is a part of life. It is how you handle the disappointments that shows your true colors. What you do is set your eyes on your long term goals, and keep plugging away at what is before you, and the cream will rise to the top. You may have to look elsewhere to reach your goals, but the opportunities are out there. Stay positive. What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger!
I lost a student council election. How do i deal with loosing?
I finally got the courage to run for student council treasurer at my middle school. I worked really hard on a good speech and great, creative posters. I put so much time and effort into this. Then, the person who I thought was going to run but said he wasn't decided to run and he has younger brothers and sisters. He ended up winning. I got my hopes up because I was going to be unopposed but then he jumped in. Plus, 3 of my best friends ran for other positions and won. I feel really sad now because I feel like they are going to become super close and I'll just be a third wheel. What can I do to feel better?

If you not good at rapping, don't rap. Seriously. People will not vote for it because it will make them feel embarrassed. You know in a tv show where you feel so embarrassed for the characters you put your face in a pillow. That's the reaction that happens when a kid raps and they have no business rapping. Now if you don't care what I say and you're going to do it anyways here's a few suggestions. be smooth. Check out the star of Hamilton's rap that he did at the end (min 19) of John Oliver's show about Puerto Rico on YouTube. There's other examples of that kind of rapping but in his notice the flow and the musicality of it and the flow and tonality. Notice the rhyme scheme. notice how he picks words that sound awesome together. Creating a powerful piano piece behind you like he did would be ideal, but if i were you I would just google instrumental rap beats and pick one of the hundreds. (Kids these days. So lucky). Be clear: in that rap you can understand almost every word. That's because he is annunciating everything so clearly. Most mainstream rap takes a few times before you can hear every word, but you've only got one shot to let them hear the lyrics. You may even consider making a slide show with the words behind you so they get it. Make it funny: actually funny. Not cute. You could take it a lot of directions but make sure there's a good joke about every 10 seconds. If I was doing it I would rap about how I was born to be a leader and I've slain a dragon and how I know karate and how I don't lie and how I don't actually know karate and how I don't take bribes...under 50$. Memorize it: if you want to rap behind the podium and have some lyrics ready that's fine, but you should still memorize your rap. It should be very very well rehearsed. Basically, if you do those four things it will be awesome and win or lose you did something cool you can be proud of. Ok. Good luck! Let us know how it went!
