I Lost My Yahoo Server What Do I Do To Get My Mail Back

Is there any possible way to recover a lost Yahoo! Mail draft?

Not that I know of.The thing to figure out is why is it lost? Was it deleted? Was it sent? Was it moved by accident? Did it just disappear from your ‘drafts’ folder? If you are worried about it happening again, you can always compose a message to yourself, that way, if you accidentally hit send, there will be one in your inbox, and one in your sent (if you have turned on the feature to keep sent messages). You can then pick up the message from either place, and forward it to the person you really wish to send it to.

I can't login to Yahoo Mail, keeps looping me back to the login page?

I have several Yahoo accounts. But my main one that I use for everything I can't login to Mail, Messenger, anything. When I try to login to Mail, it just loops me back to the login page. It was working fine a few days ago but now this. I've tried changing the password several times, still can't login.

I've tried contacting Yahoo Customer Care several times, they are no help. They keep telling me to check my security settings on my computer, plus to try different browsers, reset the cookies, things like that. I've done all that, I still can't login. But the weird thing is it's only this one account I can't login to. The other ones I can still login to fine.

Also I know it isn't my computer, the settings, or the browser. I'VE TRIED TO LOGIN TO YAHOO MAIL ON ANOTHER COMPUTER, STILL CAN'T LOGIN. I EVEN TRIED TO LOGIN USING MY CELL PHONE, STILL CAN'T LOGIN. I think it must be on their end cuz I'm fresh out of ideas.

Anyone know what's wrong or how to help me? Cuz Yahoo's useless!

Is there any way to restore popped mail back to the server?

Yeah, I should have known better but I set up a new computer to pop my Yahoo mailbox to Outlook 2003 and forgot the little checkmark that says to keep a copy on the server when you pop. So is there any way to "unpop" or restore my popped mail back to the Yahoo server other than forwarding it to myself, which will of course will change the date and the sender of the email?

I have seen generic instructions on how to do this but it only works with IMAP servers, not pop servers.

How do I recover a Yahoo account?

Don't worry! Your Yahoo account can be recovered by the phone number and email address also instead of the security question only. You can go through the provided guidelines to recover your Yahoo account via email address and similarly you can also recover via phone number. Open the Sign in helper page, Provide your email address or phone from which you want to recover. • Enter your email address or phone number. Now, go ahead by clicking on continue. Then enter CAPTCHA code. Click on yes option and click to proceed further. A link/ code will be sent to your email/ phone. • Enter that one where asked to provide. Now, you can successfully login to your Yahoo account And further you can also change your Yahoo account password.

I don't know my recovery email. I need to recover my Yahoo mail. What should I do?

If you have provided a mobile number then you will get a password on it. If you have not given any alternative email or password then also there is third way of recovering your password by answering your security question. While attmpting to login don't try a new system. In such cases where you don't even remember password login from a new IP address makes the server suspicious and may turn down your request taking you as fraudster. Therefore use your regular device (smartphone/laptop/desktop) which you always use for accessing your yahoo email to login. More than this I can't tell as I myself have gmail id. Whatever options I told just now are the normal options given by all service providers for email recovery

Can I retrieve Yahoo emails from 7 years ago? And this is because my wife passed away and I'd like to get back the lost memories.

It looks like Yahoo have a policy to delete emails and accounts once they have been dormant for one year.So if it hasn't been logged into for that time you won’t be able to access any mail. The good news is Yahoo do not delete old mails on the server according to them, however the usual time is ten years, for example my hotmail goes back to 2009 only.If you sort the emails by date with the oldest ones first you might be able to find them. Or as other people have said scroll down.Best do this on the PC that the account was used, I doubt this method would work on a tablet or phone with webmail.

How do I recover my Yahoo account when I can't access my backup email or backup phone?

How much do you need it? Can you walk away and not distress about it? Or is the code to your bank vault in there? I hope not actually. Yahoo has been sold and the people running it now are not the same people that created it. (With a few notable exceptions, but that’s not going to help you either.)The new people may have great processes for this, but I didn’t even try to recover my y!mail account when I worked there because it was so hard to find the right person to get the right answer. AND I could walk over to their desks once I figured that out because I worked in Sunnyvale. If you really need this I’m so sorry. I don’t know where you should go anymore either. Similar questions have been asked on here before. Check out if they got any good answers.

How do I view email older than a few months on Yahoo Mail on my old, slow computer without buying a premium account?

I don’t have a premium Yahoo account, and I have mail that is over 13 years old. I didn’t use Yahoo much after I signed up with Gmail, mainly because of their being hacked so many time, so I had over 50,000 unread messages. I wanted to clean it up so I could use it again.I have Thunderbird for my email client, it works in systems as old as Windows XP SP2. I went into my Yahoo account settings and allowed third party software, put my email and password into Thunderbird, and several hours later I had ALL my mail. It took me about an hour to clean it up, and now I have a nice clean mailbox at Yahoo again. My friend sent me some pictures of my son’s baptism 10 years ago that I thought were lost, but no, they were still sitting there nicely on Yahoo’s servers waiting for me to download them.
