I Love Saddam Hussain Did You

Why did Liberals love Saddam Hussein?

He was Anti-Bush

What do you think of Saddam Hussein?

The bad.Saddam was actually very power hungry and he never tolerated any kind of political opposition. You go against Saddam and you lose your life. He even executed many leaders of the Ba’ath party who were a threat to him or who were considered a threat by him.But his worst crime was the unnecessary war that he started against Iran which took thousands of Iranian as well as Iraqi lives and ruined the economies of both Iran and Iraq. He also used chemical weapons against Iranian soldiers as well as Iranian civilians. Btw those chemical weapons were supplied to Saddam by the freedom loving west. The Good.Saddam might have been ruthless towards his opponents and Iranians but he was really good towards his own people. Under Saddam Iraq had free health-care and free education. Farmers were provided with subsidies, Literacy rates went up, The condition of women was improved and they had more freedom under Saddam as compared to the current regime. Sure, a lot of cute little Americans are going to shout about his treatment of Kurds but most of them were lies just like that entire WMD fiasco. Saddam was ruthless towards the Kurdish freedom fighters and his forces sometimes committed war-crimes but that isn’t different from what Americans did to the Confederates during the civil war (The Union army destroyed Confederate towns and razed their villages).Law and order situation was really good and you could safely travel around the entire country. Now Iraq is crawling with Militias, Criminal gangs and ISIS guerrillas. Thank you very much USA.

Why do Christians of the East love Saddam Hussain so much?

Saddam Hussein was the wild dog pack leader.Sure he would protect his position and enforce his version of the law in such a way that massacres would happen, but to any Iraqi it was just another political game and as long as you played by his rules, life could be quite manageable.Saddam ruled with an iron fist but he was sure to make allowance for the various groups within his area and protection for holy sites. This meant that despite his heavy hand the Christians could do their religion in the ancient churches without fear of prejudice. When Saddam Hussein and his cronies fell in the Gulf War 2 and a new government was put in place they didn't really care about protecting the minorities in Iraq (specifically Baghdad) so within a very short period of time the ancient churches were being burnt by Muslims who could get away with it, and Christians were being murdered. The replacement of a Dictatorship was followed by anarchy for a couple of years in which a lot of history and religious roles were extinguished very quickly. And most of this happened under the administration and occupation by the interim US authority.

Why do liberals love and defend dictators like Saddam Hussein, Hugo Chavez, and Robert Mugabe?

They did support Saddam when he first came to power, mainly because he was developing Iraq and supported women's rights in urban areas. Of course liberals ignored that he gassed Kurds.

They liked Hugo Chavez because he portrayed himself as someone for the people. Though now we all know what kind of nutcase he really is. I have yet to meet any Venezuelan on line or in person who likes him.

Mugabe was a Communist until 91 when he suddenly became a Black nationalist. He no longer had the White Soviet Union giving him money so he took land from White Zimbabweans

Liberals are all about emotion, not reality

Why do so many people like Saddam Hussein?

There are still many taboo over admiring Saddam Hussein so I’ll talk about why so many peoples , including me like Saddam Hussein. When I was 4 years old , I looked on the Television to see Saddam overthrew by the American , I was too young to think about concepts like Democracy or Liberation , I just saw a leader overthrown by a foreign military , even back then I knew that things won’t head in the right direction for Iraq , and I was right , through many Interaction with Iraqis in my teenage years , I got the glimpse of what was wrong , the American supported the wrong leaders , wrong factions , head Iraq into the wrong military , political and economic roads , and as the consequences , bring it into this situation , would all of this happen with Saddam? , probably , but not absolutely , yes , Saddam is a brutal man , but based on User-12030772160149504802 , he has also achieved many positive thing for his nation that couldn’t be undermine , his crime is unjustifiable , but his deed is immortal.I am in noway defending Saddam crimes , I’m just saying peoples like Saddam because they know that Iraq would be much better with him or a leader like him.

Why do conservatives like Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden hate liberals so much?

They are control freaks.

How did Iraqis really feel about Saddam Hussein?

There were many high ranking Iraqi military & police officials scared of Saddem, but would of liked him dead. These guys could of restored Iraq to some civilization & not a full blown civil war & keep Iran in check.  Bush also killed them in the war. None of this was thought out before the war with it's political factions. Bush should of read up on how Saddem got into power & why Saddem played UN inspectors to keep Iran thinking he had WMDs to hide.  This war shouldn't have been made. The intell was manipulated by Bush who wanted to out do his father who I had a lot of respect for. GW Bush jr never had the intelligence his father had & didn't want his advice. Bush's father backed Saddem in the 1980s war with Iran. Just read history between the two Bush presidents, like night vs day.  This apple fell way far from the tree.
