I Make Good Trap Beats Where Can I Sell Them

Gow much should i sell my trap beat for?

Be carefully selling beats a rapper could buy a beat off you for $100 and make a million of it and your stuck with $100, but it depends alot of people say you could sell it,but who's gonna buy it? A rapper may like it but alot of rappers are cheap and are just looking for free beats. If you made a good beat, make more and sell them for like 25 leases.

Sell My Beats online?

I've just started to set up my SC page, and have done my research, so I will tell you what you need to know.

First, you need to know that you probably aren't going to sell exclusives (full rights) for 400$. You first need to have a "name" that is known by the people that buy on soundclick. First focus on leases (20-25$) Leases can be sold an infinite amount of times, you make one beat, and you will profit from it for a longer time.

You need to know the market that soundclick is. The people that buy on soundclick are (usually rich, white,) 15 year old kids, that want to look "gangster" "swag", like Soulja Boy or Lil Wayne. So you anticipate on that. You make radio-like (mostly trap) beats. These are relatively easy to make, and will bring the most sales. You will need quite alot of beats, preferably around 20, so your buyers have something to choose from.

Next up, you will need to have a professionally looking VIP SoundClick page (find a graphic designer) this will show your buyers that you are serious about your business, and that your beats are quality.

After you have a professionally looking SoundClick VIP page, you need to open a paypal enterprise or premier account (not sure how it's called, just not a consumer account). This will give you the opportunity to make a "buy with paypal" button, which you will put on your page. With this button, you add a "enter beat name(s)" textbox. As your buyer enters the name of the beat he wants to buy, and clicks buy with paypal, you will recieve an email from paypal, giving your buyers email adress and the name of the beat(s) he ordered. Next, you email him your beat.

Important: Tag your beats on your SC page! When they buy a beat, you send them an untagged versoin. Also add licensing info to your page, saying that you still own the beat, and the buyer can publish a maximum of 2000 copies of their song they made with your beat. Also add your email adress to your page so that people can email you for exclusive inquiries.

Check out my work in progress SC page, I just need to upload some more beats, and my graphic designer friend is busy finishing my SC design and CSS code.

How do I make a trap beat in FL Studio?

It’s a lot easier than you’d think, once you been shown a time or two.If anything in this answer is unclear, or you have any questions, feel free to drop me a message and I’d be happy to work with you step by step or answer any questions!I’m going to answer this assuming you’re new to FL Studio, and I’ll be using FL Studio 12 in the examples.First, right click on the ‘Kick’ option here. It should bring up something like this:Go down to where it says ‘Replace’. It should bring up a window like the one shown below. Now from there, select ‘Sytrus’Once you open ‘Sytrus’, it’ll bring up this:Right click on one of the two little arrows at the top right, to the right of the word “Presets” and the left the the Minimize/Exit buttons. That’ll bring up a pretty crazy looking menu, but never fear, it’s pretty simpleSelect the ‘Grand Piano’ option. This is the easiest to learn on, and once you start to feel a little more comfortable, you can start branching out into other sounds or instruments. After you select grand piano, you can go ahead and X out of ‘sytrus’.Now what had said ‘Kick’ should say ‘Grand Piano’. Once again, right click on ‘Grand Piano’, and select ‘Piano Roll’.This is where you’ll make your melody. For most trap music, you’ll want to be in the C4-C6 range, mostly at C5.On the piano roll, you can select where you want your notes to be, and drag them to decide placement and length. I would recommend this youtube video for more info on how to use that. Here’s a chord progression if you would like to use it to learn. If you would like I can go more in-depth on how to make melodies easy in another answer, or just message me and I would be happy to walk through it with you. From there, you’re ready to add a beat.I would recommend downloading a free sound pack for this part. I personally love this XXXTentacion samples kit, from Hip Instrumentals. Download it hereWhen you’ve downloaded the kit, give the sounds a listen until you find a High Hat, Kick Drum, 808, and Snare or Clap that you like the sound of. Then just drag and drop the sound into the desired place one hereYou can see I’ve put X Snare (1) in here as an example. You can then select the little red and black rectangles to the right of the snare, to choose where you want the sound to be placed. Repeat this step for everything else. Thanks for Reading! Hope that helped! :)

Where can I find a good high quality trap beat sample pack?

Check out Singomakers(something like that), they have some pretty cool stuff, and some not so cool stuff. Premier is a pretty good one. Also check out ADSR. Depends on what you are looking for, but those stand out as some of the better Sample pack/patch collection producers for Trap. Honestly, if you're trying to make GOOD trap, I'd stick to synths and steer clear of most sample packs. If you found them, it's a guarantee that a thousand other people found them and used everything on it. Also, if you use a sample pack you've basically told the world you aren't really sure about the genre. Not trying to diss, Im just saying. It would be better to use the sample/loop for an idea, and try to emulate the sound/vibe/pattern yourself.

I make hip hop beats. How can I market and sell them online?

If you’re just getting started, I would recommend joining a few beat selling marketing places as they will have a player for you to upload your beats to which will be linked to payment processor such as Paypal, which makes it easy for Artists to pay for your beats. Although they will have tons of artists visit their sites daily, you will still need to promote the link to your beat player via social media and other mediums.I created a blog post called Beat Selling Websites: Best Ones For Beginners [2017] you can check out to get started.Alternatively, you can always go on Google and search “sell beats online”, the top results will typically be the ones used by most producers.Later on, you will want to create your own website as relying on these sites in the long term is not a good idea. What if they are gone tomorrow?Another word of advice is not to expect instant results, it can take weeks, months and even years in some extreme cases to make your first sale and build momentum. You have to take it seriously and treat it like a business. You get out of it what you put in.

How do I make hip hop beats?

First what you need is a beat making software. One of the best free ones out there is lmms. This has all the basics of every beat making software without over flooding you with advanced technique stuff. Id advise going to lmms wiki to learn the basics. I'd also search free hip-hop drum kits to get hip-hop style sound. Most beats of this genre consist of a hit on 2 and 4 or a hit on 3 with the snares. The bass will hit on 1, the up beat of 2, and 4. The high hat can do any pattern, but most songs have straight eighth notes. Then the melody can be whatever you want it to be! If you have no clue on what i just said with the numbers its super easy to understand, just look up music theory basics and learn as much as you can. Id love to hear what you came up with. visit my music site at RTJ Music . I hope to hear from you!

What is a good program for making hip hop beats that is fairly easy to use?

If you're looking for easy... You're in the wrong line of work. If you're interested in makingMusic, you should be putting a lot of hard work and effort into it. It doesn't matter what DAW you use, the ease of use is a matter of preference/experience. Not to discourage you from producing music, but it is definitely a labor of love. Music is a passion, there's enough guys out there trying to take the easy route and on behalf of myself and pretty much every other music producer... Put some effort into it. P.S. I like Logic.

Is making hip hop/ trap beats on YouTube decent money?

Like many things in the world of free internet, I'm not sure you can make crazy money just off of posting videos of you making beats on YouTube. You can, however, post videos to help you build a brand and a following. It might not translate into instant money, but it can help get noticed and sell more beats through other avenues. The internet is so massive right now, it is hard to bank on one platform/website and have that be your sole moneymaker. It certainly can't hurt if you have the means to shoot and upload footage for almost free/free.DJ Pain 1 is a good example of someone using YouTube to his benefit. He posts videos of him making beats for famous rappers like Ludacris and Kevin Gates, tutorials, promotions for his new sample packs, and even posts business advice. You can use the same tactics.Mr. Green is another good example. He started a series called Live from the Streets where he goes around filming street performers in various locations. He then chops their music up and makes beats from the samples. The recognition he gained from this series led to an album on Duck Down and work with Noisy, part of Vice magazine.Post on a regular/semi-regular basis, build a following, and use it to gain new opportunities. If you impress the right people, someone might even offer you a sponsorship deal. You can also make money off of YouTube videos over time, but it will likely take frequent posting over many years.
