so i order some make-up from bhcosmetics and i put the wrong address on there it was just a "q" and not a address . so when i checked to see if my package was delivered it the tracking number said it was being sent back to bhcosmetics. what happends afterwards do i get my money back or do they send it again?

If you were abbreviating the word apartment "ap" you should be fine, If ap is the apartment number (like bldg a apartment p) you will probably have a problem because it would get delivered the the apartment you listed. As others have said call or email Amazon asap with your tracking number and you should be able to get it corrected without problem.

Amazon shipped my order to the wrong address. What can I do?
We noticed our shipment was going in the wrong direction the other day and called amazons customer service. They apologized and said they would fix it. The next day we had noticed our shipment went even further in the wrong direction. Once again amazon said they would take care of it. Then today it was dropped off at our old address. I'm pretty angry because we had changed our address on amazon weeks ago and have been receiving things from them here. Is there anything I can do to get my package now? We've already tried contacting the other residence and they won't send it to us even though we made it clear we would pay the shipping fee.

Contact Amazon right away and correct it. You may even be able to still go into the order information and change it there. If you can't do that, you could try emailing them, and they might be able to fix it. (if you already bought something)

First, EMAIL the seller immediately instead of posting here. THEY may not have sent the item yet and may still be able to change the address for you. If not, they need to KNOW to expect the package to be returned for a wrong address, so they are waiting for it.

I would call Amazon Customer Service right away at 1 (888) 280-4331, they will call the carrier with you & guide you through the process of requesting a reroute & if the carrier is unable to facilitate the request the customer service agent will help you cancel the order, request a refund & reorder the merchandise using the correct shipping information. They are incredibly accommodating & they are available via phone 24 hours a day 7 days a week.SERIOUSLY HOT TIP:Amazon is an international business so don’t be surprised to be connected with an agent from another country especially if you are calling at a time that isn’t during normal business hours on your continent. I find that in these situations it’s key to have an easy flow of conversation with your agent so if for any reason you feel that you can’t communicate with that person smoothly I recommend just hanging up & calling the number right back. Hold times are always very short & when I have tried to ask to be transferred to someone else in the past it seems to be far more difficult for the agent to transfer me than it is for me to just dial back in. It’s a huge company & I would almost guarantee you that barring crazy coincidence you will never be connected with the same agent twice in a row & also I’ve never had to call back more than once to get with an agent I felt comfortable with.I hope this helps! If it has already been shipped you can't change it, but if not then cancel the order, and order again. Most of the time they don't make you sign, unless it's a really large or expensive item, but as long as you, or someone else is there they will definitely give it to you, even if nobody is home they will usually just leave it at your door.

I have a mailbox number and a quad name NAME QUAD NAME & Mailbox # University at Albany 1400 Washington Ave Albany, NY 12222 that's what they say to put but how would I write that in the address lines? like where would university at albany go?
